Q and A and signing with Karen Marie Moning at this bookstore. Awesome store. The staff are super friendly. The event was very organized! Lots to see in and outside of the store. Its located in a square that has a lot to do. The line was long to get in and the staff were so so quick to get us in. Really cool. There was also a large clearance book section and if youre like me, thats a huge plus! Kids section was pretty big too.
Was hoping for anime figures but the best they had were funko pops and lego sets. If You are a vinyl buff then this is the place for you. They offer new and old albums and players. The staff is also friendly and happy to help. There are quite a few deals going on at any given time and they have areas you can just sit down and relax and enjoy actual sunlight to read by or charge your phone.
I have a soft spot for this B&N because of all of the memories I have there. I spent a lot of time there with friends while I was in high school. We would hang out, explore and find new books and movies. The location is perfect. You can have dinner at Deweys, then spend time lounging in this bookstore. Then grab some Cold Stone before heading to your movie!Anyway, this place is huge and I love it! On the first floor along the far left wall is a huge magazine selection. Opposite that is cards, stationary, journals, etc. And in the back is the movie and CD section. Back when I was in high school I was always looking at the newest Broadway musical soundtracks. Nowadays, Im more interested in movies. On the second floor theres a Starbucks - and the tables are along the window and give a beautiful view of Cincinnati skyline! Theres also a decent sized childrens section up there - it has a mini stage area and trains to play with.
I always love Barnes & Noble, and this one is no different. Every employee there has been incredibly friendly and helpful. One of them saw the books I was perusing and gave me several ideas for similar books that I would enjoy as well. Very knowledgeable.
Great place for the latest books. DVDs CDs and magazines. Also some fun for the family games and learning activities promoted here. Unique gifts abound. They have a nice coffee shop on the upper level that has a great view of the Cincinnati riverfront.
I love brick and mortar bookstores! And I love B&N more than most. Excellent selection. Two floors of products, and not just books, but Pop! figures, Nook e-readers, music and movies. Staff is very helpful, but this is also a super-busy store, as it caters to the Newport on the Levee crowd, so the lines, while moving steadily, can be a bit of a wait, especially during the Holiday shopping season. But, its well worth the wait.
It is a book store, hopefully most of you know that going in. There is a cafe upstairs that serves Starbucks coffee and has a lovely view of Friendship park beyond the Ohio River. The staff is friendly and will help you find something if you need help. The staff doesnt hover so you can calmly walk through the books. They have a childrens area on the first floor that appears warm and safe.
I love this place. Its the main reason I go to the Levee in Newport. I was devastated when I learned my location was shutting down. Yes, I know I can still order online but its nothing like going down and browsing the books, flipping through the pages, reading a new purchase while sipping a coffee on the balcony overlooking the Ohio River and Cincinnati skyline. Im going to miss it.
I really appreciate their customer service.I was in need of a bilingual medical dictionary and the associate that helped me did not stop until finding the book I was there for.Thank you Barnes & Noble.
This is a great store. I go there myself mainly for the manga, which is nice to see because the have a good range of it. They also seem to put out new stories pretty fast as well which is pleasing. Its pretty clean inside and the staff is very friendly. I had one staff member recommend me graphic novels before while I was in the manga section. And when Im done shopping I usually head to the Starbucks for a hot coco and they are pretty friendly as well .
I love bookstores and so few brick and mortar stores exist these days that we should cherish the ones that are left. B&N is a great store I highly recommend.
Very good food and favorable pricing with portions to match. We all enjoyed our main food courses and appetizer sampler.
Great store. Always fun. Sometimes limited number of copies. Great discounts for educators!
Very cool place to take your children or just browse. They have a wide selection of books and a very warm and friendly staff.👍😊
Lots of great choices! New teenage author on hand to sign her new book! Great!
Nice & friendly staff, with fast check out and the best part is I didnt have to go to a you scan like you seem to have to do everywhere else in the world.Yes a real person check me out engaged me in conversation and told me to have a nice day it was amazing!!
Phenomenal customer experience. Prices much higher than Amazon. But, that is all retail I feel.
Great views of the riverfront. Great selection. Ill be back for coffee, snack and a good chill place to read.
Was able to get my brother some magazines to entertain him while hes in the hospital.
Beautiful view of Cincinnati. Books and gifts galore. Great coffee, tea and baked treats.
Very big, With a fantastic view to Ohio river a cozy cafe with a variety of choices od cookies and sandiwches. You will not be bored by the amazing collection of books and magazines in different areas of interests.
My brother and I great experience going there. The store was really big, so we got pretty lost trying to find a specific book, so we asked customer service, and they helped us out.
I enjoy this Barnes & Noble location. It has a Starbucks Coffee shop on the second level and wonderful views of the river, so you can have a chat or read by a window and checkout the scenery. Its fantastic.
Its a great place to go. You can buy books movies and games. Plus you can even sit read and enjoy the atmosphere.
We had dinner on the Leeve and decided after to get some coffee from the Starbucks in Barnes & Noble. Its probably the biggest one Ive ever been to! Its huge! The service was great and the coffee was tasty. We had a great time reading books and drinking some Starbucks. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a drink of espresso and a nice read.
They had everything that you love to read an others to show you how to do crafts this place was Amazing loved it
Manager was very helpful with stem tech questions about the products for sale. He had dark hair with black glasses & was so nice. Great asset for the store.
The worker are very helpful and they have small cafe and office. Perfect place to read a book!
Everyone is so helpful and kind. I almost always find what Im looking for
The greatest day ever was when this store opened next door to my house, some 20 odd years ago. Still a great place to relax with a coffee and a book, with the prime location in the levee it is close to great food, shopping, and entertainment.
Did some reading, drank some coffee, great view from the levee and some great help from staff at one point. 5 stars
Great being in a store with real books. The view from the cafe is pretty good too.
I really loved the warm felling portrayed when you walk in side. The staff was super nice and very informative.
Great store pity its closing the view from the balcony is one of the best spot to read in cincinnati
I love books and Im so glad Barnes and Noble is still here! Its organized and there are so many selections, plus the Cafe! 😀
This location is by far the best in the area. Larger than other Barnes & Noble stores nearby, with a far superior selection.
Great selection of books. And the discount sections are filled with interesting books and media.
Stunning views of the Ohio River (which looks nice and non-toxic as it runs by) and downtown Cincinnati. Its also in a convenient location with tons of other stuff to do nearby (theres an AMC Theater as well as the Newport Aquarium). Other than that, its a pretty standard Barnes & Noble.
This place is fantasticI would recommend people visiting this privileged placeI have had a fun time with friends at this placeI will visit this place againThis place is fantasticI would recommend people visiting this privileged placeI have had a fun time with friends at this placeI will visit this place again
I wish they were a bit more organized/ had more stationary to choose from. But the staff is friendly and it’s got a good selection of books.
As always a really neat place to buy books and walk around and look at cool stuff
Great place to bring the kids, but now its gone 😕
Great place to see interesting titles. So sad to hear that it will soon be closing, especially since it will be two more restaurants occupying the space.
Great Barnes and Noble, and the coffee shop upstairs a gorgeous view of Cincinnati to enjoy while relaxing!
Always love taking the kids to the free activities here. We have gotten free Legos and free Roblox toys just to name a few.
My kids grandkids(&my clients too!)thoroughly enjoy the B&N on the Levee especiallyNice cozy nooks & chairs & even window seats to feel welcome. Great for a rainy or gloomy day
Nice place to hang out and study unless there are no security guards around to run off the rift raft. I’m currently trying to study on the second floor while two other guys are cursing and swearing loudly, talking about how many times they bust nuts on nasty woman. Can we please get homeless people out of Barnes & Nobles and turn this place back into a family environment. How disrespectful! I will never bring my 6 and 1 year old here ever again if I see these guys hear again.
Always love this bookstore! Great atmosphere to find a corner to sit and preview a book!
I love that B&N is at the levee! Its such a great place to read and the view of the river is so picturesque! Its gorgeous.
The staff was very pleasant and I was greeted the moment I walked in the door.
Great place, good service. Love to go with my kids
Always a good place to hang out and have some quiet time on a day off
Good selection. Nice coffee shop with a great view of the river.
Store is well put together, very organized, and the staff is a wonderful help. Highly recommended.
Brick anf mortar books stores are becoming rare. Enjoy a multi level store with an area for movies and music.
A large selection of magazines (the arts section is especially well-stocked) thats not cramped and easy to shop. The selection of books is broad but not deep except for best sellers and poplar titles. A good range of gifts, stationery and games along with the requisite café upstairs makes this BN a good one-stop shopping experience.
Pretty awesome place has lots of books and also has lot of movies and you can order the books and movies to be shipped to your house or you can call and pick it up so overall a great place 😊👍👌
Huge 2 Story collection and friendly customer service. Assisted me with the educator card application.
Great book store, nice place for coffee with river and city views.
The views of the river and Downton Cincinnati are surreal as you sit back with a cup of joe from the in store coffee shop and a desirable book of your choice..
I dont like books but the atmosphere is nice
Clean, quiet, had exactly what I was looking for and the staff was really friendly.
Clean, helpful staff and a large selection of varying interests
Great book selection and easy to navigate! Great place to rest and get a coffee upstairs.
The employees are very helpful and kind, love the baristas at Starbucks, and the book and media selection is great. Love Barnes and Noble!
Nice to see that bookstores are still around and a good selection of childrens books.
Love to browse all the selections of books, then stop and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Could be a great place to work/study but the music is WAY too loud for a book store- not to mention, the music is very obnoxious and not ideal for a relaxing atmosphere that a book store should be. Also, while trying to work/study, you will struggle trying to find an outlet for your laptop.
We love this store as it has SO much in variety. We hate paying to park in the garage though. But, if you are only there a short time it is no charge.
Its a bookstore and that alone makes it fantastic.
A bit pricey, but a nice place to go and relax, and browse.
There is a great kids area here with loads of books, of course, and a Starbucks for parents.
Awesome book store. Am sad that it will be moving from Newport on the levee.
Love this barnes and noble, its a great place for kids to explore, always great sales and selection
Nice place. 2 stories of books and games.
Service and food quality are still okay, but it used to be better.
I love this place ! Its so relaxing! Staff is very helpful and friendly ! Great customer service!
Great bookstore with lots of great Japanese language study guides.
Very pleasant visit, I love to have a coffee and look for new books.
Absolutely love the place the hospitality in the food is awesome
Its nice and cool and you can read books inside
Good selection. Can look out at the river and read on second floor
The guy that helped me was very helpful😉
Relaxing visit... Cookies are delicious!
Always have the D&D books Im looking for
Excellent book shope. You can read, talk and the area for kids is so funny.
I always love coming to this bookstore. It has such a great view of the river, and its huge!
Great service and being able to order any books for you as well. I love that I can sit down to read and have coffee with a friend or family member.Very satisfying
Love the atmosphere nice people work there!
Loved it! I will miss going here!
With the lack of bookstores around, B&N stands far ahead as the best bookstore around. I could spend hours just browsing!
Great place! Shame its closing. :(
Staff was extremely helpful. Went into the back to locate the items we were looking for.
