Best customer service Ive had in a REALLY long time. A sales associate noticed that my coupons had expired the night before. She ( Im so sorry I didnt get her name) asked the manager (Sandra) if they could honor the coupons. Sandra said yes my. How nice. It was totally my fault that I didnt notice the expiration date. Thanks for not being corporate. Nice people rule !

Love the sales but I tried to get help in the shoe department and the lady was rude. Told me to look around to find it meaning I couldnt find the Bearpaw brand slip on boots.We never went back.

I went because it’s a sports store and I was looking for sports items. Not always the greatest selection at any of these stores. I tried the ones in Portland before leaving for the coast. Website says they have something and then they don’t really. I got a nice Bodyglove life jacket at this locatuon that was good quality and reasonably priced. Utility wagons seemed overpriced. Really wish they could keep the Intex river tubes in stock more often.

Super friendly with my family trying to find shoes and things like that. Patience galore!

When an employee is rude, I blame management for either not providing training or for keeping an employee who is unwilling to learn how to value customers. I wanted to buy locally but instead just spent $800.00 for a treadmill on Amazon. Not only did I not buy from Big 5 today but I will remember how rudely I was treated when I need something in the future.

If you need some cheap shoes they sell a slip on Denali and they a really durable for only being $22 cant find a better shoe at that price my dad and I go hiking in these with no problems

I got a backpack here it was a good one.

I showed a lady in the back what shoe was on sale that I wanted and what size, she went straight to the back and got it for me! In and out within a few minutes. My husband on the other hand had a bad experience with lady manager on a different day. Comments were made that were not necessary. Yes people have freedom of speech but what she said should have gotten her fired. Needless to say...my husband wont be back in the store for anything. Great store with great deals. Thanks

We went in to look at tents for camping. Had to look for 4 people to ask questions about the tents, none of them were helpful. The longest time any of them spent helping was 2 minutes, then they walked away! Cashier ( young lady) kept laughing with staffer. Ignoring us at register-very disappointing. Need better management! They need training in cust.svc. & And product knowledge. Its a great store with lots of product. She never thanked us for coming or wishing us a good day. :(

They didnt have what we wanted the worker directed us to Fred Meyer said it was three blocks down when in fact it was at the other end of town. Glad I wasnt walking.

Went in to get some shoes and stopped to look at the weaponry and ask about a Mossberg. No employee showed up after a few minutes so went for shoes. Found a pair and a young lady assisted me quickly and I was satisfied. Went to pay with without any hassle or wait and Sandy was very polite. Sad part is I dont think Big 5 is gonna last much longer in business. I counted maybe 3 customers in the store. Made me think ofJ. C. Pennys, Riteaid, and CVS. Been going to Big 5s since I was a kid. Had to see this business go too

Real quality stuff. Some time a little to expensive but that life on the Oregon coast. Sign up on line with Big 5 and u will get coupons and and all kinds of stuff like heads up when big sale is coming up.

Good variety for a smaller store and a great place to pick up a jacket because you didnt check the weather on the coast.

Customer service is horrible!We came from out of town. Husband walked in to get shoes, needed a specific shoe size. Nobody was around to help. He walked up to register and lady was on the phone,asked him to wait. He waited around for a while, after she got off, she called for help. A lady came out, when he asked if they had a specific shoe size all she said is maybe and didnt even go check in the back. He got frustrated and just left the store. Will NOT return to this store again.

Found a great deal on tennis shoes.

Went looking for fishing good based on the Web site. But very little fishing gods at all.

The place is ok but the only person on checkout was attending to the gun ammo stuff. The employees were either short that day or just not making themselves quite available at the checkout. Layout is slightly different but overall the same as other big 5s.

Wow, best place ever, and the Staff are Absolutely Fabulous!!! Treat you like Royalty the minute you walk in the door!!!
