Weve been getting our trees for many years at Tom Mitts Christmas Trees. We buy multiple trees including a beauty for our lobby in a luxury high rise downtown. They have the best selection for large trees. And, they are kind enough to deliver for a fee depending on the distance which comes in handy especially with such a large tree! I always get compliments every year on my tree pick but I do go early to snag a good one. Happy Holidays!They are open now if you want to start early. We certainly need some holiday cheer!

When you’re supporting small businesses during the holiday season, don’t forget to support your local family owned tree store!! While the price may be enticing from chain grocery stores/hardware stores/etc., I gaurentee your experience and tree will be much better at this family owned tree farm/store. Every year since I’ve lived in Cincinnati we go to Tom Mitts and every year, I walk away with the best tree, customer service, and conversations you could have whilst tree shopping. I love this place so much and if you get a real tree/are in the Cincinnati area— I would 10/10 recommend supporting this small business.

One of the best places to shop local for your tree. Trees are expensive this year, but you’ll pay the same at a big box store for the same and sometimes lower quality tree you’ll get here. Thoughtful, friendly service too. We’ll be back next year.

This year was my first time visiting Tom Mitts and I don’t regret my decision whatsoever. The staff is extremely nice and was patient as I looked over all the trees!Took my Stepmom there today and we’ll definitely be going back next year!To the cute young man that helped us out, thank you!

Andy and Kyle were very helpful and friendly! We also got the tree tour, which was a brief explanation of the trees they had available, along with getting to smell each of the scents from crushed needles. On top of it all, they have a great selection of beautiful trees.

Such a great experience. The owner fun, helpful, and engaging. We picked a beautiful Fraser fir, the employees cut the trunk perfectly, wrapped it, and carried it to our truck. Everyone there greeted us with a smile. They had Christmas music playing in the background. They even had candy canes for our kids. This will be a new Christmas tradition for our family. 100% recommend.

I had a great experience with Tom Mitts. This year I had a really hard time finding perfect Xmas tree. I decided to check out Tom Mitts Trees and was not disappointed. I was greated by a very nice man who helped me to choose beautiful tree and they also delivered it to my house just in few hours. The tree is gorgeous and price was reasonable.

Weve been coming here 4 years and have gotten the best trees. This year it literally took us 5 seconds to find the perfect one. We love their unique stands, they make it so easy to put our tree up and keep it watered. The people are always so friendly and helpful, its just an all around great experience . . I accidentally discovered this place by seeing their sign while driving down Monmouth Street in Newport. Its a Fantastic place to buy Christmas trees!!! The staff are very polite, friendly and extremely friendly!! They have the best selection of trees that are fresher than any place except an actual tree farm! And unlike the big box stores they have a lot of trees unbaled and standing upright so you can really see what the tree looks like - not all mashed together and falling down.

Last year I bought a beautiful Christmas tree from this nursery. It was right after Tom Mitt, the owner had passed away. Apparently, some of his employees have taken over the business. I buy 12’ trees. This year they charged nearly $200 for the tree. It was dry, crooked and full of holes. I’m by myself. 2 people delivered my tree last year and put it in the stand for me. This year they sent a kid who said that he wasn’t supposed to help set it up. I will not do business with them again.

You wanna buy a Christmas tree and pretend youre in a 1950s movie, this is the place. Friendly service, good prices and some great conifers.

I have gone here a few years now, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I do wish they would offer a larger selection of white pines, but I appreciate the set up they have going on here.

I read the reviews first so I thought it was going to be a great experience. The trees are pretty good, but the guy introduced himself to us twice and gave us the same rehearsed speech twice within 5 minutes. He smelled like he bathed in liquor and was visibly drunk. He cut the bottom of our tree really crooked and now it leans. The candy canes that they give to the kids as part of the experience were teeny little broken ones. Our tree is home day one and already losing tons of needles. We will absolutely not be coming back here again next year.

This is the first year I have bought a tree from Tom. I guess Pelusos had always been selling trees there, and it never looked like they had many. This year I ventured back through the archway and was surprised to see what looked like a thousand trees. I like the Fraser firs because they last and he had a bunch of them for $39. They netted the tree and tied it to my roof, which was nice. Ill be back next year.

This is a great place to by a live tree. My family has been going here since I was 8 years old. I continued the tradition and take my family here now. Even if they are not in the florence area it is well worth the drive into newport to get a great tree!!! Thanks again tree guy
