Don’t fall for the Americana vibe: most KJP products are sadly made in China now, which is reflected in the quality. However, they have kept American-made price points. Read the labels, ask questions. Try before you buy and don’t purchase online or you’ll have to pay shipping both ways because of their inflexible returns policy. I really wish they would go back to their mission of supporting American craftsmanship and high quality.

I used the size chart to buy two dresses and figured the one that was one size up, I could tailor it. Dresses are cut for much taller person with an hour glass figure because the waist is sewn in the belted dress which you cannot see in the pics. Fabric is soft, not really flannel. Both were a giant sack with a waist that sat on the wrong part and belting at my waist would not work even with a smaller. I had the intention to exchange them for other products like sweater. Got a shipping label after reading the return policy. They do not give a full refund. My guess is they keep their credit card fee? I will not buy from them again since they not only dont include not giving a full refund like any other store in the US including specialty boutiques, but size chart is not accurate or helpful for waist, bust, hips.

Poor experience ordering online. I ordered online, my card was charged and I received an email confirmation of my order. When I didnt hear anything else for a week, I emailed to ask what was going on, and they replied saying that they were out of stock. Im frustrated that I had to be the one to chase them up, and that they charged my card when the item was out of stock. Once I contacted the company, they refunded me promptly. However, I dont think Ill be ordering from here again.

Great shop and design. However, it would be helpful to have some big and tall sizes. The XXL is more like a large. It definitely sends a message that this is an exclusive brand specific to body types.

I came in looking for a gift for a friend and one of the girls helped me find the perfect bracelet to suit her! I kept asking questions and she was just so patient and kind in helping me! Made my day. (And my friend loved the gift!) I live in Boston and I look forward to being able to come back next time I’m in Newport. (Please open another store!)

I’m sorry but just about everything I’ve purchased from them has been returned because the quality isn’t there. The one thing we kept, my wife won’t wear because it looks like a sack on her and that’s not a problem she’s ever had. Very sad because things look great in the catalogue and online but disappoint on arrival. The problem is quality and fit. I hope they can get it right because I like the look.

Bought a 75 dollar dog collar. It lasted for 10 uses. I sent them a picture of their faulty stitching and how it came apart at the stitched area. (I did not want a refund) just return the defective one for a replacement. They said because I ordered it in December prior to the puppy being born (in May)that they could not give me a new one. The reply was (“we don’t have a lifetime guarantee). Acting as if I used it forever when u could see it was brand new in the photo. My dollar store collar still works. For the prices they charge-the customer service and policies have a lot to be desired
