Laura Jean’s is such a lovely shop! The women are so kind and welcoming as soon as you walk in, making it a pleasant experience every time. Wonderful name brand options are available at your fingertips at reasonable prices! Lightly/gently used items at a fraction of the price! You cannot beat it! I often stop there before walking into a TJ Max or Marshall’s. Plus you support a local business in the process! Highly recommend!

Absolutely LOVE Everything about Laura Jeans. Beautiful selection and Wonderful Girls always happy to help. I found 2 BB Simon belts there that I had previously paid retail for $800, for $60, and then she told me the color of the tag indicated they were half off that day !!Made my day and I visit them everytime Im in town and recommend them to everyone I know. And their response was OMG thanking me for telling them about their now new favorite store !!

I absolutely love Laura Jeans! So does my daughter who is in her early 20s. We have been customers for several years making sure to stop in at least once a week especially on Sundays. I always find great deals on great clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories. They receive new things everyday and the inventory sells pretty quickly unlike other consignment shops where the same inventory is there for months. A trip to Laura Jeans is an adventure! Lindsey McDaniel and her staff make shopping there my go to place when I am on the hunt for the perfect piece to add to my wardrobe. The quality of clothing makes other consignment shops pale in comparison and well worth the trip!

Darby was friendly enough but I brought some clean, up to date, name brand clothes in but they wouldn’t take them. Eileen Fisher, Michael kors etc.wasn’t offended as I took to another consignment and they were happy to take. Sold most do far according to Christina the owner. Laura Jean was very jammed with clothing so perhaps that is why but they should tell people that. We won’t go back there and will refer to other consignment store

I have been here a few times and my visits have been consistently mediocre.While the owner is very helpful, friendly and contentious; the staff seem to cater to a certain class or specific type of shopper. LJs purchasing standards are high, as are some of their prices.They do have a large inventory of clothes and accessories.

Laura Jeans is a quality consignment shop with fashionable and friendly staff who can help guide patrons to the best selections for their body type and the purpose of the attire. All items are curated by the expert staff, so no sorting through junk, stained clothing, or yesteryears styles here.The same clothing at retail shops would be anywhere from twice to five-times as expensive, and they have daily specials for the especially bargain-conscious consumer.They sell everything from yoga/athletic clothes (find your Lululemon here and pay just $20/garment!) to formal gowns. Its impossible to wander the racks here and not find some kind of gem.

Go here often to shop for my girlfriend. The employees are really honest and helpful at helping me find my girls favorite brands. From a guys perspective, Id never know this was a 2nd hand store, by the way it looks, their prices, and the way its organized! Definitely a MUST if youre in Sarasota! Hands Down!!!

Came from Fort Lauderdale to clear out some of my mother-in-law clothing since her passing, previously googled the store the lady on in the phone was very nice told me exactly how the consignment of clothing worked in detail. Came up and brought in my clothing and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the store was as well as the staff and owner. This lady knows, I mean really knows her stuff. I watched her as she examined each item to see which pieces she would be able to sell and she told me of the ones she would not be able to sell and why. Things I had over looked. For my first experience in a consignment store I highly recommend this place. Personable, professional, and classy place!

I had the worst experience here. Like some of the others have said trying to consign anything here is a waste of time and trying to find something to actually buy is even more of a waste. I will NEVER return to this place to shop or consign. They just rip people off. Save yourself some time. Ive seen better merchandise and been treated better at Goodwill, which is pretty sad.

This truly is the BEST CONSIGNMENT SHOP! I think its the best one Ive ever been in! Im not a huge 2nd hand shopper, but I do like a great deal so I checked them out recently! This will definitely be my 1st go to shop for any of my wardrobe needs! They have it all! Its super organized and easy to shop. Everything is in excellent shape! You dont even feel like you are in a 2nd hand store!I bought at least 3 things with the original tags still on them! They have a trendy selection of shoes, designer handbags, and fun jewelry (which they buy wholesale.... just as cute as boutique jewelry, but WAY cheaper...like $10 earring and $18 necklaces!!!) I bought 4 dresses.... Ann Taylor, Tory Burch, Free People, and a DVF! I got 50% off my Tory dress and it was only $39.50!!!The ladies that work there are seriously ALL so kind and helpful! They made it so much fun to shop too! They are just everyday gals like me. It felt like I was with friends, but it was just the awesome staff! I got honest opinions and they helped me accessorize with jewelry when I was done! They even gave me a 20% off coupon for my next visit!I will now clean out my closet to make room for my new beauties! Looking forward to consigning with them and making some spending money! Its very apparent why Laura Jeans is the BEST in the BIZ! Its like the Saks 5th Ave. of Consignment! (without the high prices!!!)I definitely recommend shopping at Laura Jeans!

Laura Jeans USED to be a gem, Recently had an extremely unpleasant experience with this shop. I had read online that people felt they wasted their time by taking clothes to this store to sell on consignment. So I called in advance and asked what they accepted BEFORE trekking all the way over. The woman on the phone told me mall clothes such as Banana Republic, NY&Co., etc. She also told me that everything had to be laundered and ironed on a hanger. So, I spent an ENTIRE day ironing and hanging 40 pieces to take to the store that was 1/2 hour away. When I got there they showed me where to hang them and I proceeded to make 4 trips to my car with heavy clothes.When I brought the final load, before even looking at them, the lady, who was rather rude, turned to me and said--we cannot use any of these. She didnt even look at them all--maybe one or two! Some were brand new from Saks, Bloomingdales and INC. When I told her that, she grilled me (yes GRILLED me--saying did you buy it in the last two years?) Some were, but she insisted they were not! Said they only wanted the latest styles. Now this is truly funny, because as I looked around the store, there was a lot of very tired looking dated and passé clothes. I saw old faded mom jeans on a rack of denim--these are the newest styles? There were lots of clothes and jewelry that frankly looked like junk that is sold in Target and Kmart.The woman should have mentioned on the phone--we only take clothes bought in the LAST TWO YEARS, but she did not. And looking around the store, there is no way those clothes were only bought in the last two years. The jewelry is like Kmart or Target jewelry. This place is running on fumes from when it was a good store under a different owner. A TOTAL waste of time an energy. The owner acts like she is selling designer clothes at bargain prices. They are not like any designer clothes Ive ever seen. Its a shame the shop has gone downhill, but the employees (or owner--could not tell the difference) are just unprofessional and rude.

No deal! Did not have a good experience here at all. Employees had their noses so up in the air they need to come back down to earth. Dont even bother! Get a life girls and shop in a real high-end department store because youre going to pay that price for used garbage here!

Today was my first time in Laura Jeans as I just moved to town from Dallas. I was SO impressed! I have never been into a consignment shop like this.... organized, clean, great prices, SUPER cute clothes!!! There were 4 girls on staff and they were all really sweet and helpful.... but not overwhelming at all! One younger gal helped me for a bit and then a middle aged gal. They were both so honest when I was trying on.... told me if something was too tight etc. I actually tried something on that fit GREAT, but the one sales gal mentioned it wasnt a great color on my skin! I was so impressed b/c thats something I dont always pay attention to. Everything was very organized and they have the BEST BRANDS and EXCELLENT PRICES!!! I noticed theyve won multiple awards, which is no surprise to me after my visit. I even bought some of their super cute, NEW jewelry, which I found out they order from NYC! LOVE! It is super trendy and very affordable... like $10 earrings and $18 necklaces! They even have a jewelry designer who makes GORGEOUS custom pieces (which are obviously a bit more, but still affordable). They said they get in new consignments everyday so I will be back to shop and consign.... probably next week! HAHA! Thank you Laura Jeans! I feel like I left a high end boutique today! SOOOO IMPRESSED!

My NEW FAVORITE CONSIGNMENT SHOP!!! This could definitely be a boutique though! Ive never been in a consignment shop this friendly or organized! The consignments shop around the corner from my house just closed. SOOOO.... I went and checked our Laura Jeans Consignments today!!! How have I missed this place!!!???!!! Their prices and merchandise is awesome! I dropped off my consignment....I followed their rules, on hangers, laundered, better brands, and cute styles. They accepted about 50% of it, which I thought was great! I noticed they inspected my items very well and didnt take anything with a snag, spot, or scuff! They turned away the items that Ive had a few years and didnt take my old work dresses with minor flaws! I was happy to see that because I was shopping and felt confident that the items I was buying were in tip-top shape and current styles! I found 2 cute Ann Taylor dresses for $29 each! I also found some NEW Vince Camuto heels for $29!!! I usually pay $150 at Dillards for these! My FAVORITE piece was a Burberry dress for $150!!! It is GORGEOUS! I found a few other cute things.... a Free People top, a Trina Turk silk tank, and 2 pairs of Joes denim shorts!!! I hear they get new things in every day! Hoping my cute things sell from consignment and I can use my money for shopping! Ohhh yeah.... The ladies that work there are soon nice!!! Hehe!!! They really were fun and super sweet! Looking forward to my shopping day!

I have been a regular client at Laura Jeans for about 3 years and love them. I have found a great variety of designer clothes: Calvin Klein, Antonio Melani, White House Black Market, Ann Taylor, Anne Klein, Oscar De La Renta, Marc Jacobs (and more) that I would never have access to if paying full price. Everything I buy is in great shape and current in style. Also great prices on designer handbags like Kate Spade, Dooney and Burke-the originals! A friend of mine always comes out with 2-3 pair of cute shoes. I have brought in many things in to consign and they have all sold well: they are always cleaned and on hangers and there has not been an issue. There is always new merchandise coming in and my things turn over quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful, and best of all, they are open on Sundays-which is my free day each week. There are sales almost monthly and you can get on their email list to get advance notice or extra coupons for discounts. This store is one of my go-to places and I have turned on at least half dozen friends to it too. When I get email coupons I forward on to all my circle; seems like sooner or later, everyone finds a great deal. Their prices are reasonable and much less than what youd pay for new, but the clothing is still like new. If you are looking for dirt cheap bargains this is not the place, nor is it the place to consign things that probably should go to Goodwill: if you would not buy it now, no one else probably will either.... There are many consignment stores in this area and many of them have the same merchandise month after month that they cannot move-it is not what people want. Laura Jeans does have what I want, has what a lot of my friends want at prices we can afford, that is why we keep returning.

Came here to shop for my wife. Employees were a very rude and the prices are horriable. My wife sent me in there to consign her dresses and they declined them after she had just bought them months ago.I walked out considering they barley even looked through them. Over all they are horriable and I would never go there to buy or sell any clothes!!

I LOVE LAURA JEANS! I consign and shop here and have for about 5 years! They are SUPER selective with what they take in on consignment, which makes it great when you shop! They have super current styles and keep up with trends! They take all of my favorite brands, Anthropologie, Free People, Eileen Fisher, Tory Burch, Gucci, Paige Denim, J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Michael Kors!!! Think about your favorite stores in the mall and then imagine them all in one shop for like a 5th of retail....even cheaper! Many items I buy still have tags on them....never worn! Yes...they are picky with consigning, but again it makes it GREAT when shopping! I usually make around $150 every 6 weeks or so....which I usually spend right back there! LOL. The girls who work there are SUPER nice! I read a few bad reviews and I think those people are just made that they didnt take their stuff! Seriously!!! Go see for yourself! They always will help you and always say hi. They are so sweet....truly! They work so hard at keeping Laura Jeans nice and organized. Every year they win The BEST consignment shop in Sarasota from our local newspaper and Sarasota Magazine! This is a MUST.....Its really like no other consignment shop. Its the ONLY consignment shop I shop at!

Today was my first visit to Laura Jeans and it definitely wont be my last!! What a fun and awsome experience I had today while shopping!!! Im the kinda of girl that goes from scrubs to yoga pants...my style is well ..non-existent! The store is so nice, its 100% shopper friendly set up in sections which I thought was pretty cool!! The selection is awsome,not overwhelming like most department stores..its just right! If you a business woman, a casual girl,I need a outfit for a wedding, or I just want a cute outfit to go run errands in..its perfect! They cater to all styles,sizes and ages! The staff is so awsome, everyone was smiling! Since I know so little about style, I mean im lucky if my scrubs match let alone non-work clothes, Im kind of shy to ask for help! Not there, It was so east, everyone is so nice,Friendly and helpful! Lindsey the owner was there in the store,( which I thought was pretty cool to have a store owner out and about helping customers and employees, not hiding in the back room doing paperwork and avoiding the public) and picked out atleast 100 diffrent pieces of clothes for me to try on, and every single one of them were really cute and the style look good on me! She was pulling stuff off the racks I would have never picked. She even taught me the proper way to wear certain styles. After trying them on I loved everyone she choose! I was in aww!! Even the customers were really nice! A few went out of there way to complement some of my outfit choices I had on. While in the dressing room I must have heard 2 or 3 people say oh im so glad i came in they had foumd exactly what they needed or looking for. When I finished trying on everything Lindsey was there to help me Carry my pile of clothes to the cash register usually I would be standing in the dressing room adding everything up deciding on what to put back because I went over my budget, but not here.The prices are 100% affordable!!! The Girls at Laura Jeans made my shopping experience fun and made me feel special like a model, I had a awsome experience and cant wait to go back again after I make room for more clothes in my closet!!! Thank you for a great time and a great experience! You guys really made my day!!!
