Experience was rough, but price was worth it. I will warn you that they will unhook all the plumbing and sink, but will not re-install. I wish I was told in advance, so I could of set up a plumber. It took another 24 hours to be able to have kitchen sink running. Also, I was told they would remove my old table and put the granite on top of it. They did not do this, just sat the granite on my old table and it looked awful. I asked them to come back out, they did, but still could not remove the table. Told me we had to remove the top or they would just lay it on the old one.I was able to get the old table top off myself and again I was misinformed. They told me they would re-install Saturday. Called me today to tell me they could not re-install till Tuesday so we have no table top for the next few days. My experience was not good with this company, but the price is 1/2 the price of everyone else. So know in advance you will have some issues, but the granite is beautiful and the price was amazing! Would I do this all again knowing all the headaches, yes!_____________________Update - the company came out on Memorial Day and put the granite on my table and sealed it. I am very happy with the finished product. As I said before the price was amazing and the granite is beautiful!

Great company to work with! Just had my kitchen countertops replaced with NK Stone Design and they were great every step of the way. They were friendly and very helpful as soon as I walked in. They had a very large selection of granite to choose from and the process was very fast and easy once I picked out the stone I wanted. The installation crew was very friendly and did a great job. I would highly recommend NK Stone Design if you are looking for new countertops.

This is the best stone place in the area! They have the best selection of stone on hand, everything from granite to marble. The showroom was nice and clean. The staff was kind.

We had N K Stone Design fabricate and install granite counter tops in our newly remodeled kitchen. I have very happy with every aspect of the process, from initial quote, onsite estimate/measure, quality of product, to installation. Very pleased that we selected them to do our counter tops.

NK Stone has been the preferred fabricator for my business for years. I have used them throughout my own house and have been extremely satisfied with everything. I appreciate that the husband and wife owners are present and accessible throughout the project and stand behind their work.

I would stay far away from this shady business. I paid $4,400 for quartz countertops and either during installation or immediately after, they developed a chip in the corner at the seam. This was either due to installation issues or as a result of using poorly made materials. The owner does not stand behind his product. I have attached a picture of my patched up brand new countertops. Ask yourself if you would be okay with paying full price for patched up countertops before using this company

My wife and I had a great experience. We took forever to pick out our soapstone but they were patient and worked with us to find the perfect slab. The install went well and the price was fair. Really happy to work with them.

My experience very closely echoes the other negative reviews here.1. I went into the showroom looking for a specific product - Silestone. I talked with the woman at the desk and another older man and explained I wanted to do a full height backsplash in a 1.2cm thick material. I emailed them the drawing for the kitchen with a written description of the exact material and color I wanted. I was told I would get a price after the weekend.2. I received an e-mail shortly after leaving that stated they called Cosentino, the distributor of Silestone and they could not get the 1.2cm product unless they ordered directly from Italy. I said I would go ahead and go with the 3cm thick full height backsplash.3. I received my price of right around $5000 on Monday as promised. The estimate was is writing and detailed the price and material.4. I emailed to agree to the price and set up the appointment to measure. The woman emailed back and asked me what material and color I wanted so I explained in detail again what I had chosen. Since I had been clear from the moment I walked in the door I started to doubt this companies abilities but proceeded on. I scheduled the appointment to measure and was told they would re-bid after measuring.5. The day the appointment was scheduled for measuring I received a text in the morning asking that I assure them someone would be at the house on time with money. At the scheduled time, the person was 15 minutes late and on the phone when she arrived. My wife and I had both taken time from work to be here and this was also not appreciated. After finishing up a phone call we finally had the attention of the person measuring. We proceeded through measuring and again discussed the material. We eliminated a larger portion of the backsplash and the estimate was lowered by about $400. We paid our 50% deposit as agreed ($2300).6. Six days later I received a voicemail from the owner stating that the price for the countertops is now going to be $6500. This is nearly $2000 more than we agreed on. When we called to ask how he could just raise the price, he quickly got an attitude stating that “we don’t have a contract.”We continued to argue with them but it was impossible. The arrogant attitude the other reviews talk about came in full force. These people acted like they didn’t want our business. It was a clear attempt at a bait and switch. I can’t comprehend how giving someone $2300 is not a contract. I’m pretty sure that is the definition of a contract. We received our money back and went elsewhere. After telling them the exact material we wanted in person and in writing and the fact they even called the company, there is no way this was just a simple mistake.7. About ten days later I realized they still had my sink template. I emailed the woman I had originally emailed and she quickly replied she didn’t have the template. I had to write another stern email telling them they would need to contact the manufacturer and get another template before they would offer to return my template.Moral - This place seems nice on the surface but a lack of understanding, unwillingness to admit they have a contract even after cashing your check, and quick attitude, is all a warning to stay away. Others should heed the reviews placed here and be cautious. They do not honor contracts or their word and are quick to displace blame.

NK Stone has done a lot of work over the years for us, as well as for our family and friends. They know their stuff, and deliver a quality product at very reasonable prices. I always recommend them.

We had our kitchen remodeled in 2016 and had NK Stone for our countertops. I am writing this review three years later because every time I look at my countertops I am so disappointed. Within less than two weeks there was a hairline crack. I called immediately and the owner came out and put epoxy in it. Said that is what you get with natural stone. Also, they put a seam in the countertop that is so ugly, it looks like a scar. I remember telling them that I did not want a seam. Since then, I have seen my friends countertops much larger than mine with no seams. We had worked with this company before and had good results, so we went back. When we tried to complain, they were abrupt and unwilling to help. I guess as long as things go well, all is fine. But have a problem or complaint and they simply wont deal with it. I cannot recommend this company at all.UPDATE: I had a conversation with the owner and NK Stone stood by their work and had the seam in our countertop repaired today. It looks much better and the service man gave us some additional information for keeping the countertop and the seam supported to extend the life of the beauty of the stone. I appreciate NK Stones commitment to us. Thank you! (I have included a new photo to show the difference.)

Stay away. We ordered granite for our kitchen and when it arrived... we noticed that the corners were not bull nose as requested. Also two pieces were not cut long enough to cover our countertops (no overhang). We immediately contacted the owner. He fixed the two short pieces free of charge. He then informed us that he would not fix the non bullnose edge. He said Sue me...you will not win. Take me to court. He took no ownership and was very agressive. Take my advice and go ANYWHERE else for granite.
