We decided to design it ourselves and after researching and meeting with 5 other jewelers, we chose Monmouth Jewelers for our custom design. Why? Customer Service! Oh ... and JAY! From the moment I entered the store, Jay treated me so nicely, like wed know each other for years! Jay did not scoff or make fun of the torn, printed sketches I had. Jay looked at the sketches, listened, asked questions and worked patiently with me for several weeks. Jay made calls/researched and found the perfect stone. I was looking for a particular color! It was not the most expensive stone or custom setting, but Jay made me feel like it was the most important ring he had ever worked on. It did not matter how much we were spending - Jay even suggested a design change that decreased the amount I could have spent! Jays suggestion was spot on = perfect! The final design is stunning - I love my new ring! The other jewelers? They all treated us like they had better things to do and could not be bothered with our project. So, if you want great customer service, great quality/value, and a new friend ... go straight to Monmouth Jewelers. They are the real deal. I had Valerie as my consultant and she made me the whole process simple and easy. She did not try to push a sale or anything like some of the other jewelry stores that I had visited to look at engagement rings. She is very detailed and knowledgeable. When it came down to picking out a diamond, she explained the whole diamond process like the grade, the color, the cut. She was the only one that did that unlike the other jewelry stores. I was able to customize my engagement ring and bring it in every six months for cleanings. We will most likely purchase all of our jewelry here as long as were in the Cincinnati area. Recently, I went to Monmouth Jewelers to do some shopping for the holidays. I was blown away by the quality of the jewelry and the selection of pieces. The prices were reasonable compared to other stores I visited and had a lot of choices for all income levels. I was pleasantly surprised that I was not hounded by the sales associates when I walked in the door. They were very nice and easy to talk to, and allowed my to look around with no pressure at all. I came across Monmouth Jewelers when I was looking to have a custom engagement ring made. I had gone to many other places and all said they could do it, but I had to pay for the CAD drawing upfront. The CAD design was non refundable, so if I didn’t like what they did I was out anywhere from $800-1300 dollars. This was not the case with Monmouth Jewelers. When I walked in, I was greeted and told if had any questions to feel free and ask. There was no pushy employee there to follow me around and feel the need to explain everything to me. I then asked about getting a custom ring made. I was in total shock, when I was told no problem and asked what I had in mind. After getting a ruff sketch down and explaining the details of the ring, I was told to give them about two weeks to make the CAD design. I then asked how much the CAD design was going to cost. The employee actually laughed and said “ Nothing, what if you don’t like what we come up with.” At this point they had me, hook, line and sinker. After a couple of weeks, I received an email and the CAD design of the engagement ring. It was exactly what I wanted and I didn’t hesitate to get the ring made. All I needed was a diamond to put in it. I was shown many different diamonds, explained what the clarity was on each and what was different between each diamond. Monmouth Jewelers really made it easy for me and took a lot of stress off me when I thought there was no hope of getting a custom ring made. They have become “my” Jewelry Store now I will not purchase jewelry anywhere else. They have great prices and are generally priced lower than your “Big Chain” stores. I also haven’t mentioned any one specific sales person. This is because I have purchased multiple other pieces of jewelry and watches from Monmouth Jewelers, and have worked with about 4-5 of the sales people. All are great, knowledgeable about he products, and have never been pushy to make me buy their products. So, if your looking for a nice place to buy jewelry, without feeling pressured to buy then look no further. Monmouth Jewelers will have what your looking for or they will get what your looking for.

That woman became my wife a few months later and I’ve turned to my friends at Monmouth Jewelers many times since then for gifts for her. I am always treated so well when I go into the store, and it’s the same way I see and hear them treat all of their customers. So fortunate to have this wonderful, family owned business in our area. Their selection and prices are outstanding and I always find the perfect gift I’m looking for. I don’t know what I’d do without them.

To start the story, I had a bad experience with a previous online jeweler. I ran into issues when trying to return an engagement ring for quality issues, and was left with a center stone that could not be returned.I came into Monmouth Jewelers a few weeks ago, and they told me they could make things work for me. Brittany helped find us an engagement ring setting to place the diamond onto, and her customer service skills were impeccable. She offered us complimentary drinks almost immediately after walking in the door. After selecting a ring, she also kept us constantly updated on the order status of the ring. You won’t find better customer service elsewhere.When the ring setting arrived, we brought our loose diamond in, and they had the stone set and the ring ready in less than a day!
