I use Snyder as both my Propane supplier and my heating appliance service and repair. They have always been wonderful to work with and I cant say enough good things. When we moved here they installed a bigger propane tank for us. When we purchased an electric fireplace they installed it for us. When my furnace stopped working they came out that day and replaced the blower motor. I highly recommend them.

Because of the recent cold snap I decided to check my fuel oil level and found it to be dangerously low. I called before 6 am this morning and left a message. Tim called me a bit later and even though I live in Ilion he assured me I would have fuel within the hour or so. Thanks folks! I know this is what you do for a living and you’re good at it but customers like me really appreciate how customer centric you are. My tank was full just like Tim said and I’m worry free.

Snyder Fuel Service Inc. is an excellent family owned company with a very pleasant great looking staff who is ready and willing to fill any order your need. From fuel oil to propane to farm/on road and off road diesel they can take care of your fuel needs with a great price and a smile to top it off. Wouldnt want any other company to service my heating and cooling needs.

I have been using Snyder Fuel Service for the past 12 years for home heating oil and propane. They are efficient, easy to deal with and offer excellent service. They have been to my house on short notice to deal with issues of no heat or a flood in the cellar. I couldnt ask for anything better.

The circulator on our boiler stopped working and Tim sent someone right over and had it fixed in no time. The tech who fixed it was very knowledgable and had no problem explaining everything to me. I also get my oil deliveries from them. Very friendly local business that Im happy to support.

For years my family used Synders Fuel to provide propane to our summer home. In recent years, the companys owner, Tim, made excuses about why he couldnt deliver to us, or when he did come, only checked one tank and we were left without fuel. When I called to cancel our service and have the tanks removed, the owner continued to give me excuses, saying our camp was inaccessible or that we didnt use enough fuel to warrant deliveries. He assured me their tanks would be removed the following morning. Six days later, the tanks were still there. After 2 days of calling, I finally got through to speak with the owner about my further dissatisfaction. He claimed the driver went all the way out there and found a tree on the road to the camp and therefore couldnt drive down. When I went a few days later, BEFORE hearing the story about the supposed fallen tree, I found NO such tree in the way, only a few kindling-sized sticks that typically fall over the winter. Upon telling the owner this, he sarcastically accused his long-time employee of lying, clearly in an attempt to discredit me. I would NOT now nor ever recommend using this company to provide fuel service. A small business owner should be making every attempt to retain customers and keep them happy, even through a separation, and Tim did no such thing.
