Didnt know it until day 2 of being in that beautiful country that it was the only place to buy liquor and they close pretty early...... But loved the selection and every employee I spoke with was friendly as could be and more then willing to help in any way! 5 🌟s

A great selection of beer, both in can/bottles and for growler fill. Staff is really knowledgeable and can help direct you to new favorites. I also appreciate that you can check to see what they have on tap remotely. No need to call or drive in just to see if they have something new. Its definitely a must stop any time we are headed to the coast.

This is not your average liquor store. Amazing variety of alcohol, alcohol accessories and the growler station was a really fun feature. They take theyre knowledge of alcohol seriously. I use to just drink this stuff...you can cook with it too!?🤔. Now when were low i can just say Im cooking with it it goes over surprisingly well 😈. But in all seriousness, you can ask them any question, especially Michelle she has the best suggestions. Also its really spacious. Even before Covid I REALLY liked being able to shop around with a friend or two and never bump into the other customers, since the isles are quite a bit wider than even the grocery stores.

Always friendly staff. Crazy huge selection. Good prices. Tons of random gifty items. Also, plenty of space to move around and actually shop. Some stores are so tiny that its hard to get around people and nearly impossible to socially distance. This is a Very shopable store.

Solid selection and its roomy enough to not feel overcrowded. I personally wouldnt recommend buying beer or wine here unless you cant find your favorite option at Safeway or Freddys. I have noted that the liquor store prices are often much higher than at the grocery. I also recommend checking prices for liquor because each store seems to charge different amounts.

Could service sometimes be quicker? Nicer? Sure! Newport Liquor Store is the best liquor store around because its the only place in the whole city to buy anything stronger than wine and beer. Best place to buy booze in Newport!

Not a frequent visitor but when I do go the entire staff has been great. Always willing to help or answer any questions. The store is always clean and organized. The selection is plentiful. Always a place for anything you want or need.

I hardly ever go in there. They do have quite a variety of mixed drinks. The last time I had a mixed drink, which I m not familiar with them, was several years ago when I lived in town, I bought an orange flavored Smirnoff with a two liter coke and it wasnt bad. I grew up in a religious family so dinking around with that stuff is uncomfortable with me
