I won’t let anyone else touch my VWS besides Guy. He’s a honest mechanic that won’t break your wallet as much as the dealership I will go to him every single time.

Guy and his team went through a 2003 Bug bought for my daughters first car. The fixed everything Id asked, inspected the car and gave me a good idea of what repairs it might need along with the cost of those repairs. The work they did was Professional Timely and very reasonable. I recommend this organization highly.

Guy Roberts VW Repair has been the best garage to have a VW serviced in the Catawba Valley for decades. He and his staff have always been honest and honorable people. For air cooled VWs, Ive never known a more efficient mechanic and for water cooled VWs, the rates are a fraction of what dealerships charge, with better results, in my experience.

Absolute 5 Star worthy!!!Took my daughters VW to the Dealership for repairs and they stated it was going to be almost $1800...Went to Guy for a second opinion. Not only was it a whole lot cheaper... The other place said a very expensive part needed to be repaired...Guy diagnosed that it wasnt necessary. I will Most Definitely use Guy for all of my VW repair in the future!

Took a 71 bug to Guy for a purchase evaluation. Most places would try to sell me a boatload of parts/repairs. Guy told me whats wrong, (brakes, some rust, etc.) what to expect for maintenance, what to expect for big ticket items if they happen.Super nice people! Very straightforward!

Mr Roberts and his mechanics are gurus! When l lived in Philadelphia, my Passat TDI went into limp mode and eventually would just turn over and run for a few seconds then stop... I took my car to the local stealership and they told me that l needed to replace my turbo ($3600) first, to keep the car running in order to diagnose the reason it wouldnt run. I had a car hauler pick it up and take it to Mr Roberts shop. Mr Roberts told me that the hauler told him that the dealership said transmission was gone in the car...Smdh. Well, they pushed the car into the shop at 8:30 and he called me at elevenish to tell me the car was running but he was waiting on another part so Id have the full power of my car. Total cost: UNDER A GRAND and l get between 46 and 52 mpg! In the photo, I filled my tank and drove 122 miles and still had a range of 600 miles to go! Call his office assistant, Mrs Susan, and set you up an appointment TODAY!

He did a good job we had to take it 2 times. Their where alot wrong with it. But after all that work Engain lite is still on.

Guy was a great help. We had VW engine issues and were told by folks you have to see Guy! Guy quickly found the problems and in half an hour we were on our way back to Chicago. 2 months later the VW runs great.

This place is really cool. Love these guys. I wish they wouldnt make the road a four lane, because its going to interfere with the bad-ass Volkswagen man!!!!!! Nooooo. He fixed my bug about 18 years ago. He collects hot wheels and his dad is just as nice and cool. Help save this long time business from the Government cronies!! They dont have enough traffic for a 4 lane!!! Go visit the guy before its too late.

Great technician! Fixed something that another couldnt on an older Rabbit diesel. I wish I would have taken my Volkswagen to him to begin with, it would have saved me a lot of time and money. Guy was very knowledgeable and his pricing on parts and labor was very fair. Highly recommended, and will be my go to now!

Between my sons and I, we own 4 VWs. I have been very pleased with Guy Roberts when we have had repairs done here. I was quoted a much higher price for having cam seals and timing belt replaced at another place. I was not only happy with the lower price, but the quick turn around time and job well done. We had axles replaced at another place several years prior to discovering Guy Roberts and they were never quite right. I will never go any place else for VW repairs.

If you have a VW that needs mechanical help, take it to Guy Roberts. My daughter has a Passat that has been sitting for 8 months because no one could knew what was wrong with it. Within 30 minutes Guy Roberts had it repaired and she was back on the road. She didnt take it to a VW dealership because of their charges. Guy Roberts repaired it for less than $100.00. She would never left a VW dealership at that price.

Guy just rebuilt the injection pump on my 81 Rabbit diesel and I couldnt be happier. Reasonable prices and great service, he even tightened up a few things for me too. First time Ive ever wanted to give a mechanic more money. This is the place to take your older (and prob new) VW.

Guy Roberts is the best place for your vehicle and your wallet if you drive a VW. Especially if you drive an older model VW. Hes honest and fair, and hes pretty fast considering his daily work load. Definitely a recommend if you want to keep driving your VW.

We bought our daughter a Jetta.. within a couple of months it started having a problem.. Luckily we found Guy Roberts! She has a sensor go out.. When they told us the price of the part, we assume that we would be paying a a high price for labor.. So the day we picked the car up, its was around $100 total! The part cost $70! He also checked other things on the car!.. We plan on buying out other daughter a Jetta from Guys dad, which is beside the shop. That way we know the cars have been completely checked out and any repairs have been done.. So as long as we have VWs we will keep the cars serviced at Guy Roberts!!
