Great garage. I live in the area so I took my newly purchased (used) car in for inspection and ended up taking it back for its scheduled maintenence. They gave me a fast turnaround, walked me through the bill, and recommended new rear tires in the next six or so months. Just had its next maintenece checkup and they were able to do that and replace a burnt out light in short order and very affordable cost. You cant go wrong with these guys and I plan to make them my regular mechanics as long as Im in Newton or close enough to it.

Ive been exclusively going to this shop since 2012. Hard working, honest guys who tell you what has to be done today and what can wait. Pricing has all been extremely fair.Theyre just good people, and I refer everyone here if theyre in the area. Also a walkable distance to an enterprise if you need a rental for a bit.

Went to get my inspection, the guy was super nice. He even gave me some WD-40 to get my pesky out-of-state plates off. Inspection was very fast too. Great place to go!

We just moved to West Newton and I chose Newtonville Service Station for my inspection. They require cash, which they tell you up front, but the service is exquisite. They replaced my two missing license plate bulbs for a reasonable price and every interaction was both friendly and frank. I absolutely plan to have all of our car servicing done by these two brothers.

All repair work was done on time as promised and at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend this place to everyone!

I have had only two things done here but i have called the two brothers to ask a few questions about my car. When I talk with them, I feel like I am talking to the car talk brothers from NPR radio station. They seem very smart and honest. They take their time and are very attentive to my questions. They recommended Accel automative in Waltham for my wifes VW. I have gone to this other repair place for issues with my Toyota and my wifes VW.However, when I am in Newton and I am not sure about issues or repair costs, I call them up. I appreciate their downhome approach and rich knowledge. I really want to give them more business yet I do not have a lot issues. Or, they often refer me to different place to get the item fixed. I highly recommend them for their honest, fair price, and top quality work.

I have had my cars repaired at Newtonville for over ten years and in all that time, I have always been told straight what had to be done and what could wait. Having a relationship with a service company who has no agenda or boss insisting on maximizing income for a corporate bottom line instills confidence you are getting outstanding work for a fair price. What more can a person ask for?

They were recommended to me by a few of my co-workers (we work close by), as my co-workers have been using their services for many, many years. After working with them for big repairs and small repairs, I can say that they are very good at what they do. Ive been a customer of Ron and Eric for many years now, having brought them a variety of cars with a variety of problems. Most notable would be my 1998 Jetta that plagued 911 Washington St all too often. I happened to live around the corner from the shop when I got this car, and would often have this awful car towed to their lot - and stroll in the following morning to let them know what it was doing there yet again. Its not that their repairs ever failed - this was truly a bad car. Ive since moved on to a Subaru - and while I am a less frequent visitor now, I still trust only one shop with big jobs like brakes or even those mystery grinding/scraping noises. Ron and Eric are incredibly helpful and honest - it is very hard to find a shop like this - Im sure glad I found it!
