Paid $20 FFL fees. Found out later C-Town in Conover only charges $10.🤔😤

I purchased a Rossi 85104 in summer of 2019. I was unsure of make and model that I wanted but I knew I wanted a revolver. As far as handguns went, the selection was very broad. The woman behind the counter let me hold and cycle through any piece I wanted to see. The man in the back (armory) was friendly and showed a few older handguns he was working on. It was a fast and easy transaction along with buying the ammo I needed. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Me and my significant other came here to purchase ammo for his shotgun. The place is very clean and organized. Its also well stocked with guns and ammo. The man that helped us out had the knowledge and took us directly to the shelf where the product was. He also showed us basically what we were looking for. He just just seemed a little shy, but he also couldve been having a bad day. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend this store if ur looking to purchase ammo or a firearm. I was satisfied with my visit!

I purchased a AR lower from them and the owner helped me build it in the back before I left. I also just picked up a Ruger 10/22 from them for my wife’s bday and the transaction was quick and easy! I’ll be going back for my 308 build!

This is one of the better gun stores out there that Ive been too. Lately Ive been doing a lot of research regarding different firearms; any time I find something that is supposedly the best of the best (and legal), Ive seen it in this store. The best part is if they dont have it, you only have to ask and (if they are not backed up) they will likely get it for you if they can.

Very nice medium sized shop. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful owners. I have dealt with them for 12-14 months and have always found them to be honest and fair.If they dont have something they will try to get it, if they dont know something they will get you an answer.These are the kind of people that I like to do business with!

Very nice people! They spent at least 30 min with my girl friend helping her find a pistol to suit her hand size.I have never seen any other gun store show so much patients and attention even knowing she didnt have her permit yet to buy. Awsome store and people.

They are a great staff. They like what they do. They are down to earth type gun shop. Not a GUN HOE type store. And they represent every part of the hobby and self protection. They always have something new and some crazy rare stuff to look at. I wish they had a range! I know if they did it would be first class! We need a good range in the Hickory area.

In store seem to be good people. But DO NOT call in I repeat Do NOT call in. Absolutely terrible customer service on the phone. And dont order online the the order screen is a pain in the ***. And thats why I called in just to make sure my order went through. Which did not so Im going somewhere else.

Mike and his son Jesse are very knowledgeable on anything firearm related. Anybody looking to purchase a firearm or need advice on what best suits their needs, these are the guys to talk to. I also trust Mike on any gun smithing needs that I have.

I would give this store a good review, but certain employees their are dishonest. I did not fin out about this for quite sometime. Long story short I had them do some work on an ar15. They ended up pinning my muzzle brake on to my barrel when I did not ask them too. When I asked them why I was told it was because it was going on to a 10.3 inch barrel. I told them that it was going on an ar-15 pistol and that I’d did not need to be pinned. Then when I went up to the store the son told me that they pinned it because my surefire muzzle brake came with a pin. I called surefire to verify that my brake did not come with a pin included. Surefire verified that it did not come with a pin. The young guy that works there is the one that continuously changed his story. Telling me that they don’t keep pins there and it had to have come with the brake. All I wanted was them to admit to me that they messed up. Some kind of honesty, I got that feeling from the guys father, but never from his son. His son continuously changed his story and continued to lie to me instead of trying to help a customer. Instead of trying to keep a customer. This is not how a business should be run.

My Army unit purchased Unit Inscribed Sig pistols. Mike and his team made thsee private transfers a flawless and quick process. Mike also remitted all fees for these transfers. I will definitely do business with Highlander Armory again. Their customer service and their products are top notch.

Awesome gun store, great person experience...2nd visit -Not as good a visit as my previous, felt as if we should have been helped a little more. The 2 of us werent ever ask or approached the entire10 min inside. The owner just continued on his laptop. Maybe, he was busy on there with something important. As the only customers in the store we were honestly disappointed...3rd visit:-Liked this place my first visit, later learned why theres not many people visiting. The owner is kind of arrogant, and a bit of an *#$+@! ..... Not just from my experiences, but from former customers also.... Sad, place has potential.... Their selection is really good and the owner is knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend them for your hunting and sporting needs.

This is my go-to spot for all things shooty. Because of the expert, honest advice, great selection and relaxed atmosphere. I discovered them during the ammo shortage days and they had every caliber even 22s available. I would recommend them to anyone, whether youre a new shooter or on a swat team, they will provide you with what you need to defend yourself or spend your time happily plinking away.

Okay well the service is spotty and the boss talked down to me like I was an idiot about ARs. I wanted to to say look I carried M4 for years cleaned and disassembled hundreds of times and carried a SAW for a year in Kandahar. That really rubbed me wrong insalting my intelligence. I dont know if I will go back or not. Not that it matters.

The man is a d***, asked for veterans discount and his reply was you should owe me for my 40 years in thanks he knows it all and argues everything. Will not spend my hard earned money with that ass****

Customer service is not reliable. Asked for a part for my weapon and the man told me the part would be in on a certain day. Called back that certain day to ask if the part came in and all I got was a no i dont have any up followed by slience. Its like they dont have a clue how to talk to people. I felt like an outcast entering his store.
