Used to be a treat to walk the aisles of this store, actually any retail store. With this pandemic and the attitudes of the general public it is frustrating to try and enjoy shopping anymore anywhere.The amount of dogs (not service dogs) that are being allowed in the store bugs me to no end. I guess a dog is easier than a person to have a relationship with.

Way way way too hot to even shop. The fact it’s that hot should be illegal. I literally had to leave because i was drenched in sweat. Also stood at help desk with 7 employees standing there ignoring me. I had to say can someone please help. Never going back again I’ll do my shopping online.

I just wanted to say how helpful Jen from the Niagara Falls store was to me locating an item. The Niagara Falls store was the 2nd store I was at looking for it as the woman from Amherst told me to try that store and when I got there they didn’t have it, but Jen offered to call around to other stores for me to help locate the item. She took the time to look up the sku number call the store have it set a side until I got there! That is good customer service! Thanks Jen you ROCK!

Home Depot staff is always friendly and ready to help. The reason I gave it only four stars is that since the pandemic, its selection has narrowed. It seems more and more stores are relying on their internet sales.Sep 30th, 2021A quick update: I went into Home Depot looking for an out-of-season product. It was the first time in a long time I was approached by a sales associate, rather than having to search for one. The gentleman went to the utmost lengths to help me. By the time I left, I I was in such a good mood, that I didnt mind not having the product I came for! His name was Jay (I hope). He was sporting a ponytail (that, I am sure of), and he had customer service mastered perfectly! 💯

They dont seem to have any staff. Ive been awaiting an estimate on a project for a week now, and when I call, no one in the department answers. Apparently, they have one person on duty and that person isnt available during lunch hours. Maybe the manager would like to hire and schedule staff so his customers will be properly served.

Some lady helped us find those giant skeletons she called every store around to find them for us she was awesome

Love the store every time we go in we end up walking out with more than what we came in there for. Prices are fair and the customer service is always exceptional.

Poor customer service: scratched phone caseWhen the clerk finished my return, he slid my new, expensive phone back to me over a grit covered counter, instead of handing it to me like I handed it to him, and said “your all set.” Unfortunately, I made the mistake of letting the clerk hold my phone, which displayed the order number of the item I purchased online.I think the clerk was intentionally inconsiderate.  Since, he somewhat enjoyed sliding my phone across a grit covered counter.  The clerk was a white male with slightly long, possibly man made, blond hair.  (Niagara Falls, NY. Lots is garden selection and variety, but its a bit messy. Workers are friendly and helpful. Prefer this location over the Elmwood Ave, which is 5 minutes from my house! All in all was able to plant a beautiful garden.

Curbside experience was a shocker, never has anyone, anywhere, in curbside, come out to ask for my order number. Saul got my order, faster than I expected, such a nice guy. Yo Saul, come to Lockport, they need good employees, those who like to work. I saw the supervisor and sent a shout out, that’s how happy I am. Thanks a billion Saul.

There are times when we find a terrific associate, such as Erik in plumbing in Lockport, who doesnt pressure us to purchase high end but instead wisely answers all of our questions and teaches us, while respecting our budget. But there are also visits when we cant find anyone to help and have been misdirected in our search for an item.For the most part we have found staff helpful and accurate. Unfortunately there are times when help is hard to find and the impression given is interest in providing any assistance is lackluster interest, at best.

We were looking for a specific shower base and had Gus get the wrong one down. Jen, who was assisting was absolutely hilarious and friendly. We finally got the right base down without any issues except for having to block the entire aisle off that people kept coming down. Sorry Jen! They were very accommodating and made out visit easy. We came here for our kitchen cabinets. Tom was so patient and helpful. During planning, he spent hours working with me and making adjustments so that I could design the perfect kitchen and keep it within my price range! Home Depot had quite a lot to choose from, and production/delivery was pretty fast especially considering we did this during COVID. We did have one damaged cabinet, and a replacement was ordered right away with a fast delivery. Afterward, we decided to install the cabinets ourselves. Being beginner cabinet installers, we were so grateful to have Toms advice and direction when it came to figuring out what goes where and how to install it. We wouldve had a hell of a time figuring it all out in our own. Even though the cabinets were already paid for and delivered, he still took the time to guide us and answer our questions about installation. I am so beyond grateful that we had someone on our side who knows his stuff and who was willing go the extra mile to help us! Thank you Home Depot for our dream kitchen, and for not breaking our bank!

Went to exchange breakers that i purchased 6 weeks ago with the Receipt and because they dont carry them anymore they will not give you your money back on your card or store credit and only want to give me one penny for each breaker that was $110 a piece the manager told me this is there new Policy since covid the Manufacturers wont credit them back I told him I didnt buy them from the manufacturer I bought them here and its not my problem that you cant get your money. back and he told me no its your problem I will never spend one cent at home depot again I will drive to amhurst and shop lowes

Lots of outdoor plants to pick from. Not a lot of clerks to assist. Indoor plants were impressive with the variety.

So hard to seek help in there the past 2 days. After waiting 45 minutes for help with drywall I finally got someone. Had to wait an additional 30 minutes to help load it in my truck. My cashier was great.

Other than moderate prices its ok to shop for items some stores dont have only complaint I have Im old school and dont use a computer but everything in store I need is online and thats just wrong to me

Manager refused to take a broken lawn mower I had purchased less then a month before. He was extremely rude and didn’t honor my receipt.

Very little help trying to find products. Maybe because we were there after 6pm. The staff that was there was busy restocking items. We actually had to call on our cell phone to order carpet.

Home depot is a great place to shop for mostly everything you need in your home. I for one love shopping their and recommend anyone who is looking to make home improvements also shop their. They like Walmart have great prices. Always a great experience at Home Depot.

I order 20 bags of miracle grow online and went to pick up using their check in app. Waited 25 min, went inside, asked where they were.someone from hd called said my order was by my truck. He brought it in then followed me out to my truck. He stopped right by the front door and left it. I asked him to help load it, he said he was busy. I went back in to customer service, some woman went outside with me and saw that he just left it. She said she would talk to him and offered to load it with me.i was so angry I said Id do it. Very poor customer service, I should have just went in and bought it, total time was 40 mins. That kid should not be working there.

The gentleman in the plumbing isle was really great. Cutting and threading pipe to whatever sizes that were needed.

Did a parking lot pick up of bathroom fixtures during the earlier days of the pandemic in July 2020. It was a very easy & fairly quick process & my order was correct.

We were at the Niagara Falls, NY, Home Depot this afternoon. At the checkout, there were 4 cashiers at the one we checked out at. The person who actually checked us out was very good. However, one of the other cashiers, and I believe it was a head cashier, asked our cashier to move out of her way so she could get her drink. He was actually scanning our items at the time. No respect for the customers. And the other cashiers were all talking about when their break was etc. It was difficult to hear. Once we got outside, we were trying to navigate a large roll of black pipe which fell off my cart while my husband was carrying 2 10 pieces of black pipe. My roll fell off my cart in front of a employee who was taking one cart back into the store. He could have easily helped us but didnt. I find that this particular store is severely lacking in customer service.

Brought a grill on Black Friday asked that it be put together. They told me that i had til Monday to pick it up. I called earlier that day to make sure it was put together before i got there. They told me yes. I get there they brought out a box with my name on it. An no one could give me a answer. So i called back the next day spoke with a Manager an come to find out my grill was there all put together. Young and untrained Holiday Helpers. I had a bad experience that cold and rainy nite after paying someone with a truck to help me get it home. It was a waste of my money and time. Ijs

Great exp. Staff walked right up to help me several times in the store and were able to offer suggestions to fix a plumbing prob. Cashing out they saved me 25 bucks with a home depot card.

This is my closest hardware store, so more often than not I will go there for all my home repair or renovation needs. Somethings are strangely difficult to find and seem to be somewhere not logical for their catagory, staff are often difficult to locate for assistance or lack the knowledge to be helpful, though there are exceptions. Its also unpredictable if they will carry a specific item even, if it shows online as being in stock. Not a terrible store or experience, but just unpredictable, and sometimes disappointing.

I go there for all my gardening needs. They have a large selection of annuals, and the potting mix I use. I Recently had my living room gutted and redrywalled. Also my interior rooms painted. Bought all supplies at Home Depot, including bathroom fixtures and shelving for closets. Great selection. Just bought a portable air conditioner, very helpful associates, answered my questions and loaded it in my truck for me.

I was looking for an item to complete a project I was doing. I had ask for assistance and the employee really helped me out. I wasnt sure of what direction to go in order for me to complete the task. I had many questions and the employee was ready willing and able to answer my concerns. He also gave me a few options of how to do the task. He was so helpful and I greatly appreciate it.
