I absolutely love this place! Its filled with old vintage books to new books. Make sure in the winter you bring a jacket. The basement and second floor gets cold. You have to just spend time in this store looking around. There isnt really to much organization besides genre of books, but its so worth it! The owner is really nice and fair pricing! Its a good spot to sit down and read as well! Please do yourself a favor and check this place out if you love to read!
A genuine treasure in downtown Niagara Falls. Incredible three floors of books, new and used. Can’t wait to return and find more gems. Covid safe.
Such a great bookstore in the middle of nowhere good lol
Pros: First time there. Huge and diverse selection of books. No matter what youre into, youll find something for yourself. Amazing place, three floors, and many different rooms and sections. There a drum set upstairs, stage, pianos, and special floors and rooms for book categories. I bought two used Malazan books for $3 each, a steal. The store has been there for 91 years and so has a really nice old timey smell, feel, and features to it with winding shelves and walls of books that allow you to get lost in it. The cats were really cute and friendly.Cons: The couches and pillows were pretty dirty, though initially tempting, we didnt want to sit on them. When you want to check the other floors you have to find the owner and ask him to see it and he has to guide you there, turn the lights on, and so on which made us feel like a hassle despite the reassurances by the owner to the contrary. Might be because it was near closing time so tale that with a grain of salt. The upstairs was pretty cold so we couldnt really stay long up there.Sidenote which could have affected our experience: we came in around 30 minutes before closing but Jeff, the owner, was very accommodating and showed us around.
This is an amazing Labrinth of what has to be the biggest book selection in Western New York! The owner is very kind and eager to help you find what youd like. The environment is very cool and bohemian, see if you can find the drumset, the DiCamillos cap, the vintage fire extinguisher, the coffin, the finds are an adventure in themselves! Wonderful place, asset to the city
I was in a jam...my son needed the physical copy of his books for his English final and we waited until the last minute. We were all set to go to one of the big bookstore, until I thought about The Book Corner! They saved us, time, stress and money! Dont forget about our little gem in NF!
I needed a copy of the Art of War in a pinch. The owner came through.
Door locked in front, door in rear says Do Not Enter. Both look incredibly sketchy, even by Falls standards. And yet, the rear door mentions requiring a vaccination card for entry - both illegal and a sign that the store has operated recently. Dirty, dingy, unwelcoming, confusing, and clearly doesnt need my business - if its open at all.
Jeff is great. Knows his books and will do his best to find what you are looking for, new or old. Great service. His place is a treasure trove. Easy to order by phone for home delivery.
I think i was in here once for a brief moment 20 years ago and thought how cool this store would be to explore!!
Fabulous! 3 floors of literary goodness. Owner on site and knows his shop. Well organized and easy to navigate. Eclectic and full of real bookshop charm. Go there you wont be disappointed!
This is a hidden gem that not to many would think to go into. You can get lost in their huge selection of books. They offer a big range of used books that my daughter and I love to rummage through.
The Book Corner is our treasure. If they dont have what youre looking for (which is very rare) theyll have it for you in a couple of days. The inventory of new and used books is absolutely amazing. If you like books you need to go to the Book Corner. You will not be disappointed.
A Niagara Falls staple and a cool place to get lost in. Jeff is awesome and always willing to help. I have been going here since childhood, this book shop holds a magical place in my heart.
This store is extremely large. On the first floor he has mostly new books. On the second floor he has fiction used books and a performance space with musical instruments and chairs. There were a lot of books and he had organized the used books by genre and also by author in alphabetical order. within a given letter the authors were not in alphabetical order in other words the Bs would not be in alphabetical order but all the authors whose name started with B would be in that section. There was also a basement-level with non-fiction used books. I never made it down there. He also has some vinyl records. I did not look at any of those so I have no idea what kind of selection he has.
Awesome place for book lovers!! We only made it through one floor while visiting Niagara Falls but it was worth it!! We found some books that are difficult to find elsewhere and were in mint condition. Be prepared to spend time searching the shelves. Its very worth it!!
The Book Corner is truly unusual. You could stay for hours and only see a quarter of what it has to offer. Something for everyone. If you even like books a little you HAVE to visit The Book Corner.
I have lived within 20 miles of this store my entire life and never knew of it. Went this week and it is one incredible bookstore! 3 floors of new and used books. New books at regular price and used books marked accordingly (50 cents and higher). I went thru 2 of the floors,I plan to go back soon. FANTASTIC store, the staff is quite friendly and helpful. Loved the cat that greeted us near the door!I cannot wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you cannot find a book here, then I have to think the book does not exist.
I love this place!!! I have been going here since I was a child and now my kids love going here to find books and play the instruments. We always end up staying for about 2-3 hours. They have this awesome area upstairs where you can bring your blanket wrap in it and just read in one of the chairs or love seats.
Wow, does he have a huge selection of books. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable and very caring in helping the grandchildren find the right book for them. Please support the only book store in our area, you wont go wrongGreat store, amazing selection
A readers paradise!! Be prepared to stay a while as you journey through the most exciting bookstore America has to offer! A truly unique and unforgettable find.
Owner is always plesent and helpful. We could stay there for days lost in the world of books. We never fail to find something wonderful to bring home with us. Definitely worth stopping in.
The owner is very friendly and helpful if he doesnt have the book he would order it for you
I love this bookstore. Hometown feel, super eclectic, awesome owner. His kooky demeanor is often misunderstood, but hes always willing to help, has made countless online searches for me, and hes VERY knowledgeable. And they just started having Open Mic nights upstairs on Fridays from 6-8! This place is awesome!
Great place to find a great book to read on those long winter nights, the people who work here are the best.
I live in niagara falls and I love the book corner Jeff has helped me find some of the books that I wanted and I love to read a lot of books
Looks old but owner is awesome and will help you find wwhat you need. Cat is great
This place is absolutely amazing! I feel overwhelmed in a good way walking in and being surrounded by all the books! I love horror and there is always a great selection! Ive been there twice and each time Ive walked out with atleast 15 books! Many more trips will be made to this lovely place!
Variety, friendly, could spend all day just going from area to area. My granddaughter loves the store.
My wife and I visited for the first time last week. We certainly dont have any place like this in Florida! There are SO MANY BOOKS! The main floor has new books (and cats!), the basement has used non-fiction, and the top floor has used fiction as well as a piano & drums you can play! We must have been there for 3 hours and could have stayed longer. Well certainly be back!
Locally owned and has an inventory to satisfy all reading tastes. Owner and staff are courteous and welcoming to all.
From new to old the book corner has treasures wall to wall across three full floors. Go for the book you wanted and leave with twice as many that will delight. You dont run a store for two generations and not know your customer base.
Really cool book store. Has new and used books. Definitely recommend
Very large used and new bookstore in downtown Niagara Falls. Owner was extremely helpful in explaining the layout of the store and allowed me to get lost in wonderful classics.Since discovering this gem Ive already returned twice within the last month. My reading pace cant keep up with all the great finds here!
Gem of Niagara Falls. Unique, bizarre, funky. Great place to explore
This place is sooo fun for booklovers!!! It is HUGE but well organized with lots of little nooks for reading. A cat may even climb into your lap. This was my first visit but certainly not my last. So eclectic...something for everyone. Definitely worth the trip!
This place is amazing you need to set aside hours to properly shop here and itll be well worth your while
I have loved this place for 19 years. Amazing staff great selection of books!!! Highly recommended!
Oldest book store in Niagara Falls! The owner is a great guy who loves the store and is really helpful if youre trying to find something. Three levels to the store, including a local section.
A Niagara Falls icon. New and used -- if they dont have it (and this place is so huge they probably do) theyre always happy to order it in for you.Cats are a treat, and the owners are just plain good people.
I was just blown away by this place from the second I stepped through the door. I cant believe I never knew the site was there before this weekend.Labyrinthine. Cavernous. Blown away.
Pretty surprised this store is still open. At first glance, it appears to be a rare Niagara Falls gem, but upon further inspection, the smell (cat box like and musty = cigarette smoke & mold?) reminds us of a malodorous odor in a bar you would not consider returning to. After speaking to the poorly dressed owner who seemed just as cantankerous and worn out as an old feral alley cat who could have been at one time, overly fond of his own form of catnip (cannabis, crack cocaine?), it was clear that he and his stores glory days are long over as is fitting also for that city that it dwells in.
Like a home away from home! Prepare to spend an hour or two.An enjoyable, relaxing hour or two!
Amazing store! I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for new or used books of any genre.
Great store! Nice visit with the owner. He was very cordial and helpful.

So many different places in the store full of books, its like a book palace! i love the smell of it, old books 😍
New books on first floor, used books at 2nd and 3rd floor. Strong book smell. Nothings organized
Great old school book store. Great staff
The staff are friendly and helpful and the selection is amazing. Used or new, they have the book you are looking for and if they dont, they can probably get it for you.
Huge selection, Amazing Staff, and if they dont have it they will order it for you
This place is a treasure. The gentleman who runs the store is very knowledgeable.
Great selection of new and used books and one of the few bright spots on Main street.
Awesome used books selection cutest cat ever
Quirky shop something for everyone.
My friend and i were passing through and met a guy on the street who told us wed like this bookshop. So lucky.I have no idea what was going on for these other people whove reviewed. This place was not only spectacular, but the staff were really lovely too. Three stories of books, 1st is new books, 2nd and 3rd second hand books, lounging and gathering areas. This place is bookshop heaven, and i put it up there with Shakespeare and Co. in Paris. The owner gave us a present each, from the wild and crazy collection of his own things decorating the massive store, and the lady working there went to the trouble of ringing around town for a second hand guitar for me.They have beautiful cats, and knew all about their books. Not sure what else to say except i´m pretty curious how anyone could have a bad experience.
Never knew this was opened anylonger but this has tons of books of all different kinds
Owner is very helpful and accommodating. The store is lovely
