We paid over $100k in advance to Taylor Pools, after the owner collected our money, the owner admits he could not deliver the pool that we paid for, then Taylor quit the job (leaving our pool in this state). We will be pursuing legal recourse to recover our advance payments.I am writing this to warn others about the business practices and poor performance from the owner of Taylor Pools.

My pool needed to be resurfaced and Vinyl Liner needed to be replaced. The Workers did a wonderful job. The pricing was the best in Central Kentucky. The Owners called Us every few days to make sure We were satisfied with the Work and Customer Service. We are VERY HAPPY and Highly Recommend Taylor Made Pools ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My wife & I recently purchased an Inflatable hot tub from Walmart & the store manager, Demni was so patient, kind & very knowledgeable in speaking with me about what chemicals I should use for our hot tub & selling me the ones that we needed. I will definitely buy from them again for all my hot tub & pool needs in the future. Thanks so much for a great experience with a caring attitude. It really makes a Big difference when youre in business to take care of the customers and not just meet your profit margins.

I work in the pool industry (non builder), and I know the horror stories about some builders out there. After several industry professionals recommended Taylor Made Pool, I reached out to them to build a pool for my father. They more than lived up to their reputation! They built a great pool at a very reasonable price! We were very impressed with the quality of workmanship and the people skills of Lance, Tom, and their great team! Highly recommend them!!!

We scheduled an appointment in advance to have our pool opened, as we live out of town. We scheduled this without an issue, my husband took 3 days off work as he had to drive. 10 hours into the 14 hour drive back to Lexington, he receives a call where they tell him the appointment is scheduled for a day later than we originally made this for! He explained that he was driving from the East Coast, had taken time off work and could not be there for the new date, and asked them to move the appointment back to the original date we had scheduled. Not only did they not offer to try to be helpful at all, both the receptionist and the manager were unbelievably rude and unprofessional. No effort was made to help the situation at all, even though it was there scheduling error. I called back to try and fix the situation, and spoke to the manager, who again did not care that he was driving for 28 hours for this appointment, did not even mention or try to accommodate us, and was rude and nasty to me on the phone. When I told her I was going to put my experience online, she still didnt care.

I suggest you take your business elsewhere. It took much longer to complete than promised. Owner blamed the weather, though there were many sunny days with no workers on site. The concrete work was terrible, as seen in the pictures showing 2 of the (currently) 7 cracks and counting! These cracks began appearing 2 DAYS after completion. I attempted to reconcile this with the owner, and he is not cooperating, instead suggesting I speak to his lawyer. What a way to run a business in today’s world. Sad. I would never hire them again. We are now going to have to re-do the concrete, quite the headache!Edit/Response- owner was aware of cracks a few days after they began to show. He even came out to see the cracks on two separate occasions within weeks of project completion. 90+ in KY is a normal occurrence every year.

I am giving two stars is because I love my actual pool. It took over two months longer than I was told, I called repeatedly and my husband finally called and threatened to get our money back and go elsewhere is why it was finally installed. We were second in line and were told it would be the first part of April but was done at the end of May, the excuse was weather but when the crew come to do the pool they let us know they had been working 7 days a week doing pools since the start of the season. Also our pool didnt come with everything that was paid for and we were told they would come back with it and show us how to do everything but just dropped a box off in the driveway and still didnt have everything so we had to go buy things that were already paid for! We were told everything would be done and ready to go and we even got special steps for children and that was put together and we were told to just put it in when the pool was filled our-self or they would do it when they come back but when calling, we were told they dont do that. So overall very unhappy with them and will not ever use them again!! I would NOT recommend!! We will see how the pool holds up...

I’ve never experienced service as good as this company’s. Not only did Duke arrive promptly, his gentlemen were professional and completed my project PERFECTLY. I needed to paint my living room blue and it looks like it’s out of a magazine. Beyond that, they were so fairly priced from any other quotes I heard and were excellent at communicating with me. I honestly usually don’t leave reviews like this, believe me! But I couldn’t help but let everyone know the exceptional service I received by Duke and his guys. Thanks Taylor Made!!

DO NOT hire this company. It took much longer to complete than promised. Owner will say it was due to weather, but not true. There were many sunny days with no workers on site. And the concrete work was terrible. Started cracking the second day after poured. New cracks still showing up. Owner says there is nothing he will do about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I POSTED THIS ONCE BUT THE OWNER TOOK IT DOWN. HE KNOWS HE IS WRONG.

I just recently purchased a home in Lexington with a pool that had been serviced by Taylor Made Pools for several years. I decided to make an appt with them to change our sand filter, even though I didnt appreciate the rudeness from the receptionist on the first initial call. Then I called a few days prior to confirm a time for my appt and the sarcastic supervisor who I talked to said, We dont give times for our appts, they will show up when they can. I explained I had to take off work in order to be there for the appt, so the lady told me I could at least request morning or afternoon, so I requested the morning. The day of my appt, I waited around all morning for them to come out, until finally I received a call from the servicer explaining that he wont be able to make it out. Therefore, I called Taylor Made right away and spoke to the same rude and sarcastic supervisor who clearly has zero customer service skills. She was awful on the phone to me saying things like, I dont know what to tell you. These things happen. I can try to fit you in another day, but theres no promises. We dont have a magic wand to just zap our service guys there and fix your problem. When I explained I didnt appreciate her sarcasm and that Im a paying customer who had an appt booked for that day, she proceeded to raise her voice on the phone with me and finally say, DO YOU WANT ME TO CANCEL YOUR APPT FOR GOOD OR WHAT? before hanging up on me. Do NOT call Taylor Made Pools for ANY of your pool needs. This company needs to rethink on who they have working in their office, because speaking to customers without any respect is no way to maintain/run a business. I understand that things happen and appts have to be cancelled, but this company could have handled this situation in a better way. The office staff have clearly not been trained properly or must wake up on the wrong side of the bed each morning, but either way its no excuse for talking to customers the way I was spoken to. This is the best pool company ever!!!!!! They are very professional and my pool is beautiful. Very informative and very courteous on the phone. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. !

Great place to buy pool supplies. The staff is great, they are helpful and freindly. They never try to pressure you into buying stuff you dont need but are there if you need suggestions. They test your water and give you a print out of what is needed, no pressure to buy it from them but I recommend it if you want results.

Dont call this company, you never know who your talking to, i ask about replacing a pool liner and skimmer, the pool liner was 3000, a area 0f aprox 2ft by 3ft of concrette and replacing the skimmer they wanted to charge me 5,200.00 for a total of 8,200.00 crazy! They are either scam artist or dont know what their doing! very unprofessional cheats out to take advantage of who ever they can!

I have to say.... some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. My wife (Sarah) and I have been working with Taylor Made Pools and Spas for years with a above ground pool at first and then a large under ground pool this past year (which is a story in itself). We decided to purchase a hot tub from Taylor Made this past month (week of Thanksgiving). Through sickness we had not been able to enjoy it and after battling colds across the house hold we decided to spend Christmas night (yes last night as I am writing this post the day after Christmas) relaxing in our hot tub. To our surprise the hot tub started leaking water and nearly drained the entire hot tub. My wife immediately messaged Damie on face book out of panic and to my surprise Damie responded on Christmas night. Before I could get out of bed this morning, there were two service techs on my back deck taking the hot tub apart and inspecting it...… AGAIN....Before I could get out of bed this morning, there were two service techs on my back deck taking the hot tub apart and inspecting it. The issue came to be with a over flow hose. The techs filled the hot tub up and got everything running again just to ensure their suspicion was correct and that there was nothing else going on. I manage and deal with hundreds of people across the world and im here to tell you that if you can not get along with these fine people and can not appreciate their service, then the problem is most likely yourself. These people at Taylor Made are like family to us and we appreciate all that you do!

The workers are very knowledgeable about water chemistry and are always there to help and make sure you understand everything about your pool or spa. They also don’t pressure you into buying things you don’t need and always ask what kind of chemicals you have at home first.

Rude. Very uncaring about your property. My neighbor is having a pool put in by these people. Not sure who made the brilliant decision to have a semi and trailer try to get down a one lane blacktop private drive, he didnt make it but sure made a mess of our property and another neighbors property. They were unwilling to help resolve the issue. Their answer was for me to call the trucking company - although I have no idea who they are.

We received nothing but awesome service from Damie! Weve had our pool for over 5 years and needed it serviced this year with more sand and new liner, and Damie sent her best above ground pool contractors to fix it. Absolutely amazing job with such attention to detail and great customer service. I even bought my husband the Big Green Egg XL from Damie years ago, and Damie said it would be the best and only grill wed ever want. Indeed she was so right, I never want food on a gas/regular charcoal grill ever again because the big green egg has spoiled me. She has never steered us wrong. It is very rare to find such great customer service as we get from Taylor Made and especially Damie!

I had them install a pool for me 5/2019. A+, price was fair, crew was friendly.

This is possible the worst experience I have had with any company I have made a major purchase from. Our pool was installed so much out of level that it is causing the walls to buckle. They tried to fix it and now the pool wall is out of the track. Legal action is pending. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because you have to give at least one to post your review.

Glad I found these folks when my first group turned out to not be very concerned about customer satisfaction. They rarely have to change the service or open/close dates and if they do they call in plenty of time for me to change my plans. What a novel idea.
