Wish I could give it more than 5 Stars, Me and my girlfriend decided we wanted to get away somewhere for a few days and went to St. Joseph, Michigan to visit the lake on our way back to Indianapolis we stopped in Niles for breakfast and to get some fishing in. I’ve never been to this city before and was looking for somewhere to grab a 24 hour fishing license. We quickly found this and went in and was blown away by how nice this place was and how friendly all the gentlemen were! They knew of an exact place where we could catch our first river giants. They also tied me a steelhead rig and entered us in a drawing even though we were out of state! Didn’t get anything while fishing but we still had a great time!

Really good all around tackle shop. The fly selection is amazing people are friendly sent Sandra a couple times and she always came back with the goodies! If Your looking to hook up to Salmon,Trout weather its drift fishing or center pin check them out!

Rusty hooks is a Gem in Niles Michigan for so many fishing needs. They are knowledgeable and friendly. They treat you like family and always willing to tell a good fish story. It will be hard to leave but when you do you will leave satisfied and ready to catch that dream fish.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Not only was this one of the coolest bait shops I’ve ever been in, but Jim and Don were two of the most friendly and helpful people I’ve ever met. I learned more from the two of them in the 40 or so minutes I spent in the store than I learned fishing by myself my whole life. If I ever come here again, which I’m sure I will, I will always pop in here first.

Im new to the South Bend area, and couldnt find a decent place to get fishing equipment. I was happy to find Rusty Hooks down the road in Niles! They supply name brand equipment at a very affordable price.

Came in for an out of state fishing license and some knowledge of local fish. Decided I wanted to catch some steelhead. Was told some great techniques and was even helped adjusting the drag on my bake caster. Within one hour of fishing I was able to catch my 1st steelhead. 10 outta 10 would come here again, I highly recommend it the people are knowledgeable, very very friendly, and wont sell you anything you dont need. Thank you guys for all your hard work
