Not many places are open on Sunday, or even open early for that matter. That is the reason why I chose to come here to get my wifes iPhone fixed. A little pricey but I needed to have the phone screen fixed asap! I forgot the gentlemans name who greeted me at the counter, but he is a very nice guy and he was able to fix my phone in an hour and get me on with the rest of my day. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone who needs phone repairs.

I brought my damaged Samsung cell phone in for repair not knowing if it was going to work again. Marty at the Niles store provided me with the best customer service I have had in a long time! He analyzed the issues with phone the and was clear and honest with me about costs. He then repaired the phone expertly. This is a great place for more than just batteries and bulbs- worth checking out if you have not been there!

I am very pleased with the screen replacement Eric did on my Samsung S9+. It looks brand new and appears to be working perfectly, although Ive only been using for less than 24hrs. The repair only took 2hours and Eric was friendly and very professional. I will definitely recommend him to others needing a phone repair! Never been to the store ever and they explained all the great offers they provide and warranty on batterys

I had come back to the store to have my scooter battery checked out. Was told to leave it for charging and testing. Upon my return the Sales Associate was very attentive, looked up my past purchase quickly and verified my warranty status and made sure there was a battery to replace my previous one.

Easy to set up an appointment online; attentive and friendly staff; explained in detail what would be done and how long it would take to replace the battery in my phone.

My phones screen was broken beyond use and after a couple days of shopping around, I brought my phone to this Batteries Plus Bulbs on a Monday, the manager told me I would get it back by late Wednesday to early Thursday of that week, which was quicker than the other places so I went with them. They reached out to me Friday to tell me I could pick up my phone but when I got there, the new screen wouldnt recognize any touch. He then said he would have to take the phone apart and look into it and he would let me know what the issue was. He said the screen was defective so they would replace it for free for the hassle. I didnt hear anything from them until I went in myself to see what was taking so long the following Thursday. Now there was a new manager at the who told me all the screens they got were defective and they would just replace my phone expect that would take a week to a week and a half, I asked if there were any other options that would be quicker and he again said he would get back to me. I decided to just get a replacement at this point because this store has done nothing but waste my time and annoy me even more about the situation. Im sure if you need batteries or bulbs this place is fine but for tech repair I would not return.

I found the exact bulb for my car side marker at $2 less than Autozone. I like their Duracell car batteries too. I like the way they have a date on them, thats very helpful, I dont remember them on any other car batteries. I saved another $15.

Took my old battery and they refunded my core charge. We tested the car and it started right up!What a great experience! Thank you for making this so easy today. Seem to have any kind of batteries or bulbs you need.Especially hard to find specialty batteries.

Was a very easy process. The only problem i have is, the associate who installed the battery in my car had a terrible set up for the install. It is bad enough the change happens in the parking lot but he also had a terrible set of tools to use. I would recommend a cart with all the tools needed to install multiple style of install. Guy did a great job just could of had a MUCH BETTER SET UP.

I called on the phone and the person I talked to was very knowledgeable about the odd replacement backup sump pump battery I needed. He talked me through options and made a recommendation that ended up working perfectly. I ordered online for store pickup. The staff quickly brought the battery out to my car when I arrived, swapped it with one in my trunk, and I didnt even have to get out of the car. A+.

I bought 3 batteries in this store and including the tax it was $20.36. I did miss checking the online retailers including shipping it was $8.78. I will not make the mistake of going to this store again.

Came in their specifically for a lawn mower battery sadly each one looked like they were used.The terminals had evidence of already been mounted. Look closely and you will find the eyelet holes are oxidized and darkened and you can see screw marks as they were already used. Of all the places i shopped before coming here each terminal was obviously never mounted.The worse part the clerk did not have any product knowledge and armed with basic questions didnt know anything. Best advice if you are looking for a specific battery especially a deep cycle for a small pump you wont find it here. They do have deep cycle but for autos only

I showed up at closing time, exactly 6:00 on a Sunday and was not let in to complete the pick up. A tiny bit (five minutes) of good will in todays retail environment would have gone a long way. Instead, I was frustrated with what should have been a quick and easy shopping experience. The next day, the pick up experience was quick and pleasant.

I was enjoying recycling my batteries and bulbs here, but it now costs to do so. I have yet to find another solution because Ace Hardware removed their collection bins. I want the stuff to get recycled, but I am not paying per pound to do so. That is just absurd. I will take it to the city warehouse that takes all of the car batteries and chemicals if I have to.

I went in there to exchange a battery. I had to wait a few minutes because the workers were all busy with customers. But what I saw was the most exemplary, professional, polite customer service Ive probably seen in 20 years. These employees should be used as an example of how customer service should be! Even the girl who was training was still knowledgeable as if shed worked there a while!

Romero at the Batteries Plus on Touhy Ave. in Niles, IL, was a pleasure to work with. He helped me understand how to get more space on my Smart phone. Verizon told me I just had to buy a new phone! The service by Romero was fantastic and so far above Verizon its incredible. Hes honest and talks in language the customer can understand. Others in the store praised him also as they left. Give him a raise!!

Went in to have my iPhone 6S charging port replaced. One hour later all done. Great customer service. However, got home called a few people and everyone said there was lots of static in back, like a waterfall. Went back next day, spoke with Mr. Aguilar, same gentleman from the day before, and we determined there was an issue. Microphone and charging port on same piece of hardware. One hour later all fixed, no static. Only reason for 4 stars is the fact I had to go back a second time. Aside from that, great service at a reasonable price.

I was able to find a wall socket 12v charger at 8pm on a Tuesday night here. I was in disbelief this place would even have something so obscure (I walked in, and it was on the shelf right behind the cashier!).Later realized it wasn’t needed and was able to return it no problem.Also able to recycle old mercury light bulbs here which is great.Used to wonder how and why this place could exist. Never again.

I bought a motorcycle battery and they had not fully charged it. They only charged it for 4 hours and after my bike wouldnt start I went back and made them charge it for 24 hours. When I came back they were so nice and helpful!! They ran all the test and its perfect now.

I ordered online to pick up at the store. I forget to enter my discount code for 10% off so I called the number on the web page. I was told that it was no problem. Nothing could be done over the phone but that the clerk at the store could issue my 10% off, no problem. When I got there I had to wait 5 minutes while the only clerk in the store was discussing over the phone what the store sells. When he got off the phone I explained my mistake and he started telling me that there really was no way to add the discount at this point even if I had the code number. I told him what the online people had said to me and he started groussing about how they shouldnt tell people he could fix this problem. The phone rang again and I had to wait for at least 5 minutes while he discussed a car headlight with a potential customer and then their procedure for checking car batteries. He got off the phone and started to tell me why he couldnt add the discounts. I stopped him and said that after making a paying customer wait while he did a sales job over the phone was unacceptable. He then said that he would have to do a return and treat it like a new transaction with the 10% discount. I said, Fine. Not impressed with my experience.

Got a new car battery here, one of the easiest things Ive had to do with the car. Ordered online to pick up at the store and got a discount (code was on the homepage, great start). The technician at the store replaced it and was quick and efficient, and I got the rebate for the core from my old battery. Free install, online discount, free recycling of the old one AND a core rebate, plus they were cheaper for my model than Autozone and O Reillys to begin with. Great service, price, and experience. I had a great experience at B+B today after having a bad battery in my iPhone and putting off the repairs for months because I was worried they would be too pricey. For under $50 they were able to open my phone up, identify what was wrong with the battery, replace it with a new one, and close the phone back up like new. It only took 15 minutes and I now have a 1 year warranty on the new battery which gives me some peace of mind. So relieved to know that I can rely on B+B as a resource for things like this moving forward.

Brought my 1987 Volvo 240 in after purchasing my battery online. Battery purchased was incorrect for vehicle so we had to search to find the right terminal configuration. Old battery was difficult to remove, but Ramiro, the very capable employee, figured it out and went ABOVE and BEYOND to make the transaction right. Rarely, if ever, have I been treated with such kindness and professionalism in ANY retail establishment. BIG shout out to Ramiro. Ill be back!

My charging port had been replaced by a different company, and in the process, they didn’t put it back together correctly. I was out of town when the port came loose, and took it to this store. They checked it thoroughly, fixed it, were incredibly friendly and professional. Because no replacements needed, they said they had nothing to charge me for. I had a negative experience with I believe was the store manager. I placed an order online for pickup. I received a call that my order would be after 2 pm on Friday. I mentioned that I would be over the weekend to pick it up. When I stopped in the store on Sunday, to pick up the order, I was told the battery I ordered was not there. When I inquired more about my order the manager became very rude and he attempted to tell me he left me a VM and did not talk to me. He made me feel like I was a liar. I was frustrated because I had made a special trip to the store. Talk about poor customer service!!! In the end, he finally told me my order would be in on Monday after 2, which it was and another employee helped and he was very polite unlike the manager. In the future I will not do business with this store.
