Overall a solid buying experience from Smith automotive. Our process had a couple of hiccups along the way, car needed a couple of repairs that they ended up taking care of. We really like the car and my wife is happy with it.That being said I dont appreciate being lied to. They told us that they would get my wife a second key for her vehicle and when she asked about it they said they wouldnt. They also said theyd give her a loaner while they repaired her car then while it was being repaired, again they told her they couldnt. That level of service is unprofessional no matter where you go. Luckily the repair was fast so it didnt make a huge difference while still being inconvenient. I expect honesty when it comes to these things as it could have just been as easy to say no. Yet they lied.Overall good car. Happy with it. Will not recommend to friends as they lied. Had they been honest from the jump Id be happy to recommend or if they decide to follow through with giving my wife a second key as they said they would and end up keeping their word Ill change the review to reflect that.Other than that if you plan on purchasing here make sure to get anything they promise you in writing as they seem to want to go back on it if they can.Edit as response to owner:1. I was there when my wife asked about a second key and I guarantee that the person that she was speaking to said yes they would get her a second key and that it wasnt a problem. So while I respect the fact that you back your employees Im afraid he must be mistaken.2. I never said the repairs were done unprofessionally or that they took a long time I just stated that we had some hiccups. The repairs were great and timely.3. I dont believe my wife cancelled an appointment for Monday she just stated that should couldnt do it Monday and would be able to schedule it for Tuesday which everyone agreed to.4. As regards to the loaner she stated to me that it was just a flat no. Ill double check with her about that information to verify.This is my issue. Your service was great up until the point we signed the papers after that customer service went down quick. The repairs were great and we were happy with the buying process but the bottom line is my wife was promised something that she didnt received. The loaner is really a non-issue its just that coupled with the key issue its not a great feeling. Also I the fact that received a discount doesnt play a factor in how service goes.
