Absolutely fantastic breakfast place. Between the amazing donuts and their consistently awesome menu, youll find yourself coming back over and over. Chicken biscuit was amazing and the Pancake flight got a resounding cheer from the kid.Not your average sit down dinner. Place your order, buy your drinks and get a number. They will run your food out to you.All staff members had face coverings and were super friendly despite the long lines and endless steam of customers.Outdoor seating and parking lot available.

I heard they had great donuts, but Daaaang! Their donuts Are amazing, dont get me wrong but what gets Glazed over too often is the fact that this cozy, crunchy not so little spot is easily a heavyweight contender for my best local dine-in eatery. My wife and I find ourselves gravitating to Joe Donut anytime we want to stay close to home and have a hearty home style breakfast/brunch while we reset and catch up with one another be we end up talking to each other more than we eat. Trust me, I still eat plenty. From the biscuits and gravy to any of the eggcellent entre choices theres nothing Ive found that I havent wanted to reorder the next time we stop by.It has an amazingly welcoming vibe that makes us not want to leave every time we come by. If I didnt live so close I would definitely say its worth any trip into town. See for yourself, you wont be disappointed.

Man! This place was great! We were originally gonna order to go but there was plenty of seating so we stayed. Luckily we did cause these monster sandwiches would’ve been a little hard to eat on the go. 😂 Great portions and even better taste. Of course we grabbed some donuts to go too!

I had the Sidecar as well as their fruity pebble and old fashioned salted caramel donuts. Do yourselves a favor and get the caramel old fashioned if you enjoy caramel, it is one of the best donuts Ive ever had and the Sidecar biscuit sandwich is amazing. You truly wont be dissapointed.

Great place. Staff was friendly, they were pretty busy but allowed us to take our time selecting our donuts. The donuts are delicious. Even ordering at 10:30am, the donuts tasted fresh and its nice having special toppings (maple bacon donut anyone? 🤤) instead of the standard frosting only at big chain donut places. Sure, the donuts here are more expensive, but the quality did seem to be there to back it up. Most were larger than what youd find at those big chains, too. Ill have to try their standard breakfast some time, too.

I’ve been coming here ever since this Niles location opened up. Every time I go, I only get their donuts and breakfast. Finally tried their lunch, and let’s just say I don’t go out of my way to write google reviews... their meltdown burger was phenomenal. I had low expectations for their fries, but the fries turned out better than I expected. I was hoping to try their sour cherry shake, but they were out so I went with the Nutella. Silky strands of Nutella within the shake were perfect.

Donuts are very tasty, although they could have been fresher. The donuts were pulled from a rack, not the case, exposed to air. Tha counter help needs more training. I ordered a 16 oz. cold brew coffee and received a 12 oz. size. When I questioned the size I was told I was wrong, that I was given the correct size. I I didnt want to argue as there was a line forming. I measured cup at home. I also was not given a receipt.Disappointed.

We wanted donuts for our wedding rather than cake, and picked Joe Donut to cater. They were fantastic – Juan was communicative, flexible, and easy to work with, and our guests raved about how delicious the donuts were. A great local option if you want something non-traditional.

The donuts are always good but there breakfast is only mediocre. I have been here numerous times. The breakfast potatoes are always undercooked or taste like old grease, biscuits are kinda dry. We had to wipe down our table bc they don’t bus them. The coffee is always good though. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable.

First time visit...love the donut variety and many items to choose from on their menu. Customer service was good. Just a bit of advice for others...I ordered the biscuits and gravy. On the menu it says it comes with sausage gravy, in actuality it is sausage and bacon gravy. I am not a fan of bacon in my sausage gravy so I just wish the menu would specify that. They offered me another item on the menu, so that was a nice gesture.

Just found out about this place and upset I didnt sooner! Awesome donuts grab a Joes Dozen to get the maximum donut enjoyment.Their breakfast is great too. Grab a seat and walk up and pay first. They will give you a number to put on your table and will bring the food out to you. The Boxcar breakfast sandwich is a must!

My coworkers and I tried all the legendary donut places from the north side to the north suburbs and were continually disappointed, until we tried Joe Donut. Simply amazing donuts.

Stopped in the other day with a group of friends induvial bills. Ordered the regular French toast side order of sausage patties an home made potatoes and a coffee which i had to wait because they ran out with tax 21.30 2.00 in jar tip total 23.20 does that sound right? it tasted ok but it didnt knock my socks off each side is 4.00 each that was just for two patties and potatoes. IF you order forget the sides they cost you more then the dinner.

Amazing old fashioned donuts. Get there early because now the word is out they will sell out.Their glazes can be a bit heavy but, paired with a cup of Joe, iced or hot, it all balances out.So glad they opened a second location.Ordered 1/2 dozen mixed. Otherwise wouldve eaten a dozen donuts.

Delicious donuts, easy online order

The donuts were delicious! Pretty sweet but thats what you expect from these. A good variety of classic and unique donuts. Coffee is served very hot but wasnt bitter. There was a line in the back and took about 10-15 minutes to get thru, but was expected for a Saturday morning. I didnt get a chance to have the breakfast but it looked good and substantial. Will update when I get a chance to try, which I am looking forward to. Staff was helpful and courteous, even in a crazy morning Rush.

This place was confusing to order its not like a dinner where you get seated. They did not have cold brews or iced coffee.

Donuts and coffee are very good. The gravy was not my personal favorite (too thin) but I enjoyed everything else I tried!

When here recently and the indoor dining was packed! I want later in the morning maybe 10:00 a.m. and there were very few choices left for donuts. If you want a good choice I recommend going early. They also do take out and I recently learned they have burgers and lunch items. I love supporting this local business however I will probably not be dining in in the near future due to the popularity.

Okay cups of Joe, but the donuts are excellent. Definitely come toward the earlier side of the day if you want the most variety, but you’ll likely love anything you choose. Sometimes the dough is on the dry side (snickers donut)or the flavor isn’t as strong (blueberry or pumpkin fritters), so use that as your excuse to buy more than one kind.And I also highly recommend going off the donut menu and getting a biscuit sandwich, pancakes or French toast.You will likely always find a seat for indoor dining and when the weather is good there is outdoor seating. The entrance, counter and some of the seating are accessible. ♿️

I want to like this place especially since it’s local! However they don’t have gluten free items even after multiple questions about it! We keep going back but this might be it.. they close at 3 we get there at 2:00 and the kitchen is closed! The manager wouldn’t even give a true answer!

Words cant even begin to describe how disappointed I am with this establishment. My husband, five month old baby and myself came in to dine in. It was Mothers Day so it was busy as expected. I was waiting in line behind two other customers that were waiting to order food to dine in as well. After I waited for about ten minutes, the woman at the cashier asked for anyone that is ordering food to stand in another area and start a new line so they could take care of those just ordering donuts quickly. Made sense so we all stepped aside. I waited, and waited, and waited, watching customer after customer get service and attention, and I just got ignored. 20 minutes later, TWENTY MINUTES, after waiting in the same line continuing to get ignored, I patiently asked the cashier if I can please place my order for food. Her response was We are not taking any more food orders and the kitchen is cut off. Are you kidding me? After waiting for 30 minutes with my husband and a baby, they then had the nerve to tell me that?! It was beyond unprofessional to continue to ignore the customers waiting for food and not say a word to any of us! They were honestly probably waiting for us to leave so they didnt have to deal with the uncomfortable situation of telling us that we were waiting for no reason and were never going to get served. To not even offer anything at all for the inconvenice and for my great patience on my very first Mothers Day is disappointing and greatly unappreciated! Shame on you.

The food is decent, the service is pretty standard. Ordered a breakfast sandwich and sat at a table in the back. They brought the wrong sandwich and no condiments. I was in and out multiple times. The outdoor table area is kind of dumpy and theres no shade. Ill stick with donuts to go from here.

I have passed by Joe Donut a bunch of times and always wanted to stop. Today I finally did with a small group. JD mostly offers breakfast options with a few lunch options (burger, grilled cheese, chicken sandwich). I ordered the burger, which was really kind of a large slider, with tater tots. The tots came out kind of cold. Its hard to mess up tots, but these guys managed to do it. The place is bright and cheerful, with a large, open space. There are a number of different coffee options, and the donuts all look and taste amazing (I tried two of them). I would recommend Joe Donut as a reasonably priced coffee and donut place to hang out, but dont go there expecting too much from the food, youll be disappointed.

Never going back. I went in for the first time after driving by almost everyday and the service was horrible! The waitress was rude and was talking so low I couldn’t hear her and then she would give me even more attitude because I couldn’t hear her. I told her I wanted to order donuts, she rolled her eyes and walked away so I sat a table and went back up to ask for donuts and a to go box. Still bad attitude but rang me up and I reminded her of the boxes and she literally told me to go get it myself. Not sure if she just didn’t care because she owns the place or because she’s hates her job but I’ve worked in restaurants and I couldn’t imagine me or my coworkers treating someone like this.

My daughter and I love to stop in when we take a longer walk. The smell as people open the door just invites you to come right in. Truly a yummy experience.

BE SURE TO COME EARLY! Majority of the donuts were already gone by the time we got there at 11:00. We got all the doughnuts that were still available, a salted caramel old fashioned, a blueberry old fashioned, and a lemon poppyseed old fashioned. The lemon and blueberry were not very good but the salted caramel was great. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, and the furniture is also great. There was also an unexpected surprise: they also sell sandwiches, and make their own tea. Would recommend if you like getting up early for donuts. 3/5

First time there and it it amazing the omelets are fluffy and so darn good, the pancakes are so good too and the potatoes are the best I have ever had.

The first time I ordered from Joe’s I phoned ahead so that I could come pick up my order. They forgot about it so I had to wait. The second time I ordered, they left the most expensive item out of my delivery and apparently it takes 5 business to get a refund. Garbage service.

Holy iced coffee heavens. Come here for your coffee. The house brew is nutty and a mix of light to medium roast. You will not be disappointed.

Tasty food, good portions and friendly attentive service. It was busy but the line and wait moved along smoothly. I went with my daughters and a few of their friends. Most of us ordered a breakfast meal and 1 had a burger. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the Cowboy which is eggs, potato and biscuit or pancake. I got the pancake. Eggs were a good portion, potatoes were crispy and tasty. Kind of like a mini tater to, but not mushy at all. Pancake was sweet but light, not too heavy. A good meal at a good price!

Absolute best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Its worth $9 and more--you do NOT need a side. Its huge.

Update! We recently tried again and the doughnuts were delicious. Not sure what happened during our first visit. The variety and quality were outstanding as well as the great customer service. We will be back!Old review: Was looking forward considering the good reviews. The doughnuts are a bigger, fancier, version of Dunkin Donuts and just as stale (dozen for $23). Perhaps instagram worthy doughnuts but taste is so disappointing. Also, employees need to properly wear thier PPE and little social distancing while in line. I would just recommend going to DD or pick up a box of Entenmanns. On a positive note, the place was clean and the employees were nice and courteous.

My omelette ham cheese sausage and onion I thought was totally delicious!!! We took the biscuit option and it was nice with jam and butter on it! The donut I took home and just ate it...it was really good. Fluffy and not over sweet and the custard inside was just right!. I did not love the potatoes and they were kind of cool and not piping hot like potatoes should be..ketchup was needed for those..The service was Great!!! Smiling people who helped us with what we needed and with a genuine smile. We lucked out and got in just before the crowd. Will be going again for sure!

Loved it. Yummy donut variety, flavorful breakfast combinations will bring us back. I like that you can order & then get a table & they will bring your hot food to you instead of waiting for a waitor/ waitress to bring your food that has cooled off.

Complete chaos. So disappointing. We went on a Sunday morning for breakfast and once we walked in we should have walked out but we really wanted to try this place out. The line to order was chaotic. It felt like no one works at this place. We were given a number for our table but there was nowhere to sit so we ended up returning the number to the cashier and getting our food to go. There was nowhere to stand and wait while our food was being prepared either. Someone should keep track of available seating and inform costumers as they enter that there is no seating available. I would not recommend coming here unless they make some changes.

No need to comment on the donuts, theyre good obviously. The chicken was tasty and moist and so were the biscuits! We will definitely be back. I only gave it 4 stars because I ordered the Nitro coffee and was not as impressed. Ill have give their other brews a try next time. 👍🏽
