I love coming to this one because they do carry items that others dont. The only reason why I va was 4 stars is due to the hours. The hours are always so off compared to others. I get it is a independently owned but just super inconvenient if I need something from Giant Eagle I have to drive further because they arent open later. However the staff is friendly and nice. Always helpful when needed and if they dont know the answer. They will find out for you. Good selections on items.

This store is a rip off! Prices are way over other stores! WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND KNOW MANY PEOPLE THAT DO NOT GO THERE!!! Vegetable department is LOUSY!!! What is wrong with these owners? Only care about there pocket!! So sad! And also managers could care less! Same with the meat dept. and the rotten vegetable dept. Rotten produce!!!

Clean, neat, well organized.Fantastic deli choices and utterly outstanding staff.I can honestly tell you, these people are the most pleasant Ive dealt within a store here in the tri county area.I WILL shop here, more often.

Im noticing some of the men bagging items look as tho they hate there lives. I just want eye contact and a nice gesture. Just say have a nice day or something! They dont even do a good job at bagging the items. They are more about speed than being couscous of how they put things in the bags. Then they toss the bags in the cart. There are great people here that bag items but most are not good at their job. You are the last person in the store we see, you make a big impression.

VERY CLEAN and well stocked. Julie our cashier was VERY friendly and attentive. Gentleman cleaning carts impressed me. Very nice place to shop.

I am from out of town and needed meds. They handled everything quickly.

DO NOT BUY CHEESE FROM HERE.Lately their cheese selection has been MOLDY. Today we visited, went to get cheese in the shredded cheese section, and the cheese in the back was completely covered in mold. Absolutely unacceptable, and vile.

Dirty, dusty, outdated. Practically a senior center with all the elderly blocking aisles, pharmacy is horrible for one with that much buisness. Got many more things filled afterwards because they didnt lie about paperwork needing done at CVS.

Prices are triple compared to other grocery stores. Cashiers are nice

Produce hasnt been its best. But over all Id recommend.

Scams WIC. Charges a double pack of baby food as 2 instead of 1 if I were to pay out of pocket I would only be charged for 1. If I were to go somewhere else it would be charged as 1 insted of 2. I dont know what kind of business is being ran here... PLEASE IF YOU HAVE WIC DO NOT USE IT HERE!. its like the store is stealing food out of a babys mouth and cheats the system..unreal... been going here for years, lost my business never going here again! Alot of people rely on WIC how could a business do this to a baby is beyond me..

Really good deli and bakery

I had some important papers that needed faxed. I had tried FedEx and my fax failed everytime. I was meeting a friend who lives over by the Giant Eagle in Niles as I was driving I remembered that they fax at Customer service. I went in and right to Customer service and the girl working was very friendly and sent my fax. She stood by the fax and made sure it took one page at a time. My fax went through the 1st time (never went through at FedEx despite about 8 or 9 attempts)Thank you Giant Eagle

I have lived in Niles for 41 years, and Giant Eagle has always been the best grocery store in the city. Yes, they are priced higher than Marcs or Walmart, but they have the best meat in the city, hands-down. They also have the best deli and bakery in the city. The Italian bread warm out of the oven is something everybody should experience at least once in their life. Their fresh donuts and cakes are amazing, the butcher will cut any meat any thickness you ask for, and will answer any questions you have, all without being condescending or rude. When money is a little tight, I admit I will go to Walmart or Marcs for everything besides meats, deli, and bakery. There is simply no exception for those things because once youve had Giant Eagles meat, deli, and bakery, you wont want to go anywhere else.

I am not a big fan of Giant Eagle. I feel there prices are too high. I do shop there sales ad though quite often but stick to my list there. Our local store is a smaller family owned one and doesnt have as much variety on item especially cereal.

Produce at this store is either rotten or bad. I’ve never had a good experience here with the staff that could not care less about this store. Lazy managers who ignore customers inputs and do not make any changes. The staff does not care about the store whatsoever. Especially the stockers, if you notice the food/drinks are bad why put them up? The sad excuses for workers need to switch up their act. Not paying insane prices for rotten food. Go to college.

Shelves are always empty! Someone is not ordering dry and canned goods as they should. You would think that a store that is so over priced would have full shelves. Only shop here when I need something and they rarely have what I need. Ill go to Sparkle

If I didnt live two blocks away from here I would never come here I cant tell you how many times the workers are so rude to me to my fiance and mother-in-law. Three or four different occasions where we left the store insulted

Not quite as pretty as some locations and as with all things Niles, not quite as friendly as other Giant Eagle locations. Giant Eagle holds high standards and this location meets them at the bare minimum. This is one of the worst Giant Eagles in the area but is still better than most other local grocers.

The place smells over by the meat department. Not sure why it smells so bad, but other than that the place is great. Everything is well stocked and I can usually find some great deals.

They buy 24 pack of Angel Soft open up the packaging and repackage them in twos. Reprice them at higher cost. Where in this country is this legal?24 pack is 9.95 if you divide that by 24 thats .42 cents per roll. I understand .85 cents maybe even .99 cent or a dollar but $1.19? Not only is this not sanitary but it is them taking advantage over the community.

The stars reflect the somewhat high prices. The store is always clean & the liquor store is a great addition. Smaller store & therefore smaller selection than other Giant Eagles.

I have been stung three times now, shame on me. Their expiration date are short, this time potato and macaroni salad with 3 days left. Last time it was can goods with a month at best. 1st time was bag of nuts at Christmas expired b4 purchase. Seem to be only this store in the chain in my area. Wish I could trust them for more than day use only.

Just like any other American grocery store with one exception. Apparently, this is where you buy liquor in Ohio.Now I know.

Seems to have what we came for. I dont think they will ever have disinfectant wipes or spray ever again. They need to post people to control the one-way aisles. Every aisle we went down had someone going the wrong way. If I obey the rules, why cant everyone else? Id hate to meet these people while driving on the streets!

I want to express this is a beautiful store, but Ill reserve my critique til I can go in unencumbered by social distancing regulations.

Awesome grocery store!

I have shopped Giant Eagle for years. The service is excellent, if I cant find something the stock men/women are very helpful and courteous as well as those at the service desk. The fruits and veggies are fresh, and I like the meat dept because of the 5 items for $20.00. Sometimes they have $2.00 and $3.00 off of those items too.

The RUDEST customer service I have ever encountered. Employee Christal, while chomping her gum like a cow. I asked a simple question while getting my check cashed and she responded with Im basically doing you a FAVOR by cashing your check. Do you want me not to cash it? My question? I asked how their check cashing program worked...as I had cashed several checks there before and no one said anything to me about it. She insisted I had never cashed anything there. I have lived 2 blocks away for years and HAVE, just not in about 8 months. I didnt want to argue so just asked about the process. And that was her reply. Her attitude changed quick when what I assumed was her supervisor came around the corner. I think ill just go back to doing business at Marcs.

Good prices, nice gas perks. None of the beverages in the front coolers were cold. None of them in any of the coolers. You cant charge for a convenience unless its worth it. When I told the cashier about it he just ignored me and kept ringing up my items.

Was a little dissatisfied with the baked goods area and could hardly find anyone to help. Loved the ladies up front behind the desk they were really nice to me..
