I have been here twice to get my covid vaccine and they have some room to improve in the customer service department for sure. To be fair, it was the pharmacy. They were busy and appeared short staffed, but that doesnt excuse rudeness. I had an appointment but wasnt on their roster for some reason and they were looking for a reason not to accommodate me for sure. The lady who gave me my vaccine was very nice and super polite. She did a great job as well. If it wasnt for her I would have pushed the issue of the way they treated people and even talked to them for that matter. Wont be going there for anything unless it was an emergency for sure
So third day in a row tried to pick up my prescription but no! The first day I called they didn’t fill it until the end of the day! Came back to next day the line was backed up outside and didn’t feel comfortable blocking peoples entrance to get in so I parked and went in I literally got instant anxiety as it was crowded with people waiting in line! The hours on the window is completely wrong the hours everywhere are wrong! After 5 days they put your prescription back on the shelf! What happened Walgreens did you seriously run off the pharmacists?
Absolutely horrible service. Was needing to pickup an antibiotic and the script was sent in at 6pm they close at 7pm. I showed up at 6:35 to pick it up and they refused to even get it ready. Haven’t even started on it. I work in a pharmacy as well so I know that it only takes 15-20 minutes to get ready. It being an antibiotic should of made it a priority seeing that it’s for infections and every second with infections matter. Absolutely ridiculous. If the symptoms get worse I am definitely going to blame this pharmacy for it.
I have tried to pick up my prescription no less than 5 times. Every time I go here there is either 8 cars backed up in the drive thru or a line in the store that is 15-20 people deep. I would wait in the line if I didn’t have social anxiety and had a couple hours to kill but it shouldn’t be this bad.
This Walgreens is unbelievably bad. I switched all of my prescriptions to a wonderful pharmacy, Battlefield Pharmacy. Unfortunately my son needed a covid test to get back into school and BP doesn’t do those. Walgreens was recommended by the school. The instructions said to look for the signs when you go to the drive through. There are NO signs regarding testing. We got in the second line because it was shorter. Well, after waiting 1 hour!!! The employee is incredibly rude and says you can’t test in this lane and you need to get in the first lane. Now we are back in the first lane waiting (3 cars in front of me and I’ve been here 15 minutes so far). Alps charges $160 for a Rapid. Walgreens just bills your insurance. Finally to the window, 1 hour and 30 minutes later. Clearly, Alps is the better deal. Time is money and rudeness is unacceptable.
This Walgreens has so much potential to be a great pharmacy for this area of Nixa. Unfortunately, like others have mentioned, you could be on your own in the drive through or inside the store at the counter and it seems the employees are deliberately ignoring you. I understand the pharmacy business is a busy one, but its no reason to make patients feel like its impossible to get their medication. Remember Nixa Walgreens, PATIENTS, some of them need a sense of humility from interactions with those engaged in their wellness. I did speak to someone that identified himself as a manager, he said he would address it. I hope for the folks that have no other choice but to use this pharmacy have a better experience in the future. For me, mail-order moving forward.
U never know when pharmacy will be closed anymore. And i hv been waiting for an hour in drive thru when there was only 2cars in front of me. Im soooo done with Walgreens
Went through Drive-through after calling to have my prescription filled at 11:00am. Came back at 4:15pm waited for 20min in drive thru to be told they cannot do it and I had to come in. THEY and every other Wal-Greens has NEVER required me to come in before- the she told me that I had to come back around or inside because the Pharmacist was doing a shot and couldn’t sign off on my script- and then when I said I called earlier and waited 20 mins in the drive thru the girl said “Well I have to KEEP THE line moving.” Then I told her I just waited in this line for 20 minutes and she said it again hatefully. Now, I wait INSIDE and have been for another 20 minutes and am currently 4 back. Pick another pharmacy. One that knows what they are doing please.
They kept my bank card. Acted like they sent it back out with my prescription && a week later magically found it. Most of the staff at this location are extremely rude & act like they would rather be doing anything else. Something goes wrong every single time I come here. Guess CVS across the street will be getting my money going forward.This place is a disgrace. Just wow.
Impossible to reach a human on the phone. If you like to hold and hold and talk to an automation that can’t understand English. Or a pharmacy that never has your prescription ready with a long wait 100% of the time. This is your place.
Have made appointment for Vaccine shot, showed up on my Schedule time Proceeded to tell me that they had no shots available. The lady was so rude about it! Its the point I made appointment on line if they would manage people walking in then maybe us people that makes apointments on line whould get our shots. Very unorganized and very rude about it. They acted like I was a A burden on them. If u cant treat people with respect find a job that fits you better!
The place is ok. Nothing special. Much better than CVS but not nearly as good as the pharmacy that used to be in Price Cutter. You should update your hours if you are going to close early from now on and save busy parents and the elderly a long trip into town. Blame your wages and work environment for people not being able to tolerate the suffering of dealing with anti mask/vax loonies in Nixa.
Horrible I mean the VERY VERY WORST customer service you can EVER get!!! I will NEVER EVER go to Walgreens pharmacy again! The ladies behind the counter where so beyond rude and stuck up!
We have tried to get a prescription filled since last week. They only gave 7 days worth of Medication. I went through drive up window and they said it would be an hour. I went back through drive up window and got the run around. Had to go inside. Unable to walk very far. I had to walk to the very back of the store. Then they didnt have it ready. Yesterday we called to make sure that they would have the prescription ready for today. I called this morning and it wont be ready until 12:30PM. It has been ridiculous what we have had to do to get this one prescription.
This is the worst Walgreens I’ve ever seen they are so slow and they send you a text saying that your medication when you get there it is not really ready they will lie tell you that they send a request for refill and they did not just a sorry place to do business I will change pharmacy they will wind up hurting people it is really sad
In regards to the pharmacy, if you think the DMV is slow try this place. Sloths would say they are too slow.Go across the street to CVS instead.You’re welcome
The lady working the counter the other night was super patient and helped fix the zip code on my rewards account. The employees are always super helpful and kind when I visit this location.
This place has no idea how to run a pharmacy. They let customers at the drive up window just sit there without acknowledging they know they are there. They need help with their “bedside manner”

Needed to have a prescription transferred to Walgreens so it could be covered by our insurance. After 3 calls to have them request it from CVS there’s still no record of our order. Why do Walgreens’ techs say they’ll take care of it and not do anything at all? Let’s be better than this.... come on now.
A pick-up in drive though lane at Walgreens! Oh heavens( the machinery transfer in drive thur) is not a private experience thisIs very weird machinery! Can pinch and knock your vehicle window /quickly fold. Your mirrors quit carelessly.When items card and Script R filled delivery to your vehicle it can open and dump everything on the ground cards.Hands full experience..view point from a 1 ton pick up average for area.
Great pharmacy and customer service is always exceptional!! Down side sometimes the wait time is very long (hence the four stars). Today I had a great experience with the pharmacy staff and wanted to share!! I had absolutely no wait time and they help me get my daughters $150 ear drops for $30😁. They also got it to me ASAP which is helpful with a sick kiddo in arm thanks again guys you are GREAT!!!
I LOVE WALGREENS BECAUSE I DONT LIVE TO FAR AWAY FROM WALGREENS ITS MY FAVORITE STORE TO GO TO PICK UP MY MEDICIANS AND TO GET OTHER PRODUCTS SO I SHOP QUITE A BIT AT WALGREENS ONLY BECAUSE IT IS SO CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE SO IT IS MY FAVORITE STORE TO GO TO WHEN MY PRESCRIPTIONS ARE READY FOR PICK UP.
I’ve never had a problem with service or staff at Walgreens. Would highly recommend to everyone. Prices are great too.
SLOWEST DRIVE-THROUGH IN THE HISTORY OF ALL WALGREENS ON THE PLANET. I’d highly suggest transferring your prescriptions elsewhere is you utilize the drive through. Insane how slow it is.
Ive been using this pharmacy for a year, and have literally never left happy. Ive liked previous Walgreens, but this one is horrible and I am giving up on them. They have filled partials, then claimed they filled the entire script when I came back for the rest. They are always rude and judgmental. There is always a long line. I swear they mess up on their counting as well, but if you talk to a pharmacist of course theres no way they could possibly make an error.
They really need to add more staff the line is always long inside and drive thru and it takes forever!! I actually have started going to CVS and had great experience!!
Every time I go to this Walgreens I have a issue never fails for one reason or another! Ill be moving my prescription some place else !
Most unhelpful, incompetent staff ever. Took 6 days to get a prescription filled. They had no compassion whatsoever that the prescription was completely out. Stated not their faultAbsolutely the rudest people, horrible customer service.
If I could give them a -5 I would. First time i ever been in here and was not able to get any help because the employee had her friends in the store talking extremely loud and making rude comments towards me and about me as i stood and waited tring to ask a question, the employee joined in. This place is a dump and i will never shop here again.
This is your cookie cutter Walgreens. Pharmacy with some groceries and a few local items. It is very clean with a pleasant staff. Redbox is outside if you need a movie.
Like all other Walgreens stores. Clean & friendly. Fast check out. Better prices than CVS across the street.
The drive through line is always long during the day and the service is slow. I am just dropping of a prescription and have been in line for 35 mins. The staff is mostly nice with a few bad apples in the bunch. The store prices are higher then Walmart but you are paying for the convenience. They do forget to check dates on the eggs and milk so beware of that if thats what your getting. The redbox is outside in a convenient area where there isnt a bunch of stuff you can pull up and jump out real quick. They cant seem to keep up with prescriptions they usually have to order what you need.
The pull carts are disgusting. They are caked in filth. I checked 5 of them and they are too disgusting to use. The mens bathroom was also filthy. The staff was pleasant and we were checked out quickly.
Best selection of as seen on TV do-dads and definitely the cleanest bathrooms of any big chain. Anytime Im in Nixa driving in my chevy and I feel something heavy I stop in, Do my thing, buy a shake Weight and/or sham wow, and finish up my day!
There taking Precautions now. Wearing face masks.

At 2pm we were told our 2 day prescription of meds would be ready in 20-25 minutes. They would call us then. They never called. At 4:30 I showed up to get the prescription and they said it still wasnt ready and it would be 5-10 minutes. It is now 5:13 and still nothing but they keep telling people theyll be done 20-25 minutes. This is insane. You cant even get hold of a customer service rep. Wal-Mart, here I come.
I am changegin all my prescription to Walmart.... th most inconvenient and incompetent place in town. Go somewhere else.
I shop here often. The line is always short making it easy to run and out very quickly.
I would think twice before going to this pharmacy. They gave my 5 month old the wrong duration of medication.
