My 1st time ever coming here I feel like this place ripped me off they took may copper and weighed time (of course you know the deducted weight for the plastic jacked) gave me a slip and told me to go around to the front I handed the my ID and 3 or 4 minutes later they gave me a slip with the payout $154 Ive taken less (copper) to SA RECYCLING and gotten more money! I DECLINED doing business with Tri Star and asked for my copper back they did so with no problem but gave me back the deducted weight that was take off for the plastic jacket also the only reason this place has SO MANY good reviews is because the off an additional .10 per pound to your order if you give a good review I wont be going back to this place EVER. SA Mitchell rd. here I come

Ive used this place often to recycle scrap. I found them to pay more $$ per pound than others several times. They were always friendly and helpful. The only thing different about this place is its small and can be difficult to pull in a long trailer to turn around.

Tri star is by far my favorite place to drop off metal they employees are very friendly and helpful .. also they have a large drop off area for the people that drives big trucks with a trailer to get in and out with no problem and a machine to help unload large objects ... I been going there for almost ten years now ... thanks tri star ...

Very bad people.Im a HVAC contractor from out of state. I changed wholeAC system in one of my rental property.Office lady told me either I need to bring Ga HVAC lincense or receipt for the new unit replaced the old unit .She said it start out 60 cents per pound. When i got there with receipt and unload and guys measure the unit and she says its only 5 cents per pound because copper and steel is not separated. thieves. bad business.Those guys were laughing at me. I had a flat tire from all those screwson the ground on top of the scam. They were rip off and it seems they do that to peoplewho they think they can get over.They just did a BAD routine rip off one customer too many.im calling immigration today for appetizer.Ill try to talk to the business owner today. Mean while anyone have problem with my post and want to settle just let me know .Any place, any time of the day. Only one dude at a time.Return answer here.If that Lesley young lady or guy with the computer told me before unloadabout 5 cents per pound I would just drive back out and no hard feelinginvolved here.

Today, I went to sell scrap metal & aluminum for the first time at TriStar. The employees seemed friendly, however, I was paid only $ 0.87 for my ware. The original weight was 88 and the tare was 59, so the net weight was 29 X 0.3 cents ... I shouldve been cautious when the gentleman asked, Is this your first time? When they initially weighed the goods, they didnt explain anything nor offer a quote. The man just told me to go to the cashier and wait for payment. The cashier didnt seem very friendly. I spoke in Spanish, but he was very curt; no greeting, no explanation, etc. Ive noticed that other Asian-Americans have had negative experiences, therefore I dont recommend this location.Today, some of the iron items in the garage came with my arms. The staff are friendly, but I weighed them up and told Cashier to go without explaining the quotes or the price at all. It was pretty heavy, but I only got $ 0.87. Honestly, Im not angry, but for some reason Im Asian, so I feel like Ive been cheated. If you look closely at the reviews, other Koreans have similar experiences. I think you should avoid it here.
