On Oct. 21 2020 I bought a 2019 Ural gear up from Lisa. She Assured me that the title and associated paperwork would be express mailed to me the next day. Four months later and many unanswered/ return calls and personal visits I still have no title. They wont answer the phone or return calls from the better business bureau, the Georgia tag office or my lawyer. I am now the proud owner of a$16,110 static display. If you buy a bike here make sure you have the title in hand before you leave. This use to be a great place. SAD
These guys are top notch. Solid work and great customer service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Poor sales service. Guy was rude and because my friend said he wasnt buying today, he basically dismissed us. I was interested in the Zero to possibly switch my diablo, guy said no when i ask to sit on it because it was a $23,000 bike and whats the point. Well you keep judging the book by its cover sir and become a museum store
Very cool place. Lot of cool old motorcycles in there
John the owner is very accommodating very knowledgeable. staff is willing to help without any reservations, a collective source
I love this shop. Ive known John for 30 years. Its a great destination for the real vintage FEEL
Great place. Must see if you are onto vintage bikes.
Good dealer of motorcycle and like museum about old motorcycle 2 world war... Ural side car motorcycle
My wife and myself stop by to check out the Urals. Lisa took her time explaining everything about what we would ask questions on. even though we told her it would be at least a year out before we would by one. Shes even sending us some PDF files for us to go through and see what kind of accessories we would like to have put on it.
I bought a bike from these people out of state and was told by them that they would help me get it tagged and titled in Alabama. I paid for this service. As soon as they had my money I never hear back. I called and I emailed and never heard a thing. I bet theyre great so long as youre buying in-state.
This shop is not run by true enthusiasts. I would give 1/2 star if I could. I was out of town for four months on a job, and just got home on a Sunday with plans to leave Tuesday for a long needed and planned motorcycle trip. I ordered tires from Revzilla so they would be waiting to have mounted when I got home. I drove two hours to go to this shop, as it was the only BMW oriented shop open on a Monday. I arrived right when they opened, and was told they would not mount the tires because I did not buy them from them. When I explained my circumstance and the trip I had planned the next day, they said if I left them all day, they might get to them at some point. Really? I was flabbergasted to say the least. I used to work in a Honda shop, and we would never turn away a fellow motorcycle rider. You are going to charge for the labor regardless, and usually more if the customer brings their own tires. I also would have dropped everything to help a fellow rider out. I ended up going to my local Harley dealer and they mounted the tires for me. When I told them the story, they charged me 1/2 price. Now thats a fellow biker helping out.
Learned about this place off Cycletrader. Called about a bike and John called me back. On the way home to Tennessee I stopped by. Google Maps was off but finally nailed it down.Bike was as described. Beautiful..They also have a WW II motorcycle museum on the premises. A beautiful collection of historical cycles. They also sell IMZ -URAL the Russian maker of heavy sidecar motorcycles designed for rough, rugged terrain. Probably a great bike to explore rural Americas. They sold the M -72 to China which developed the Chang Jiang.
Incredible museum and history on the motor cycle... so worth the drive. Support these amazing people
Unexpected gem of a place. Even if you arent in the market for a vintage bike at a great price, you have to visit this place for the experience. The owner is a long-time art collector and is, himself, an artist, with many of his pieces on display and for sale. We were looking for a preowned motorcycle and some gear, but we were thrilled to find not only the bike we wanted, but also a motorcycle museum and art gallery, replete with large scale antique airplane models hanging from the ceiling all over the two-story shop.
Having been a rider since the 70s, lets just say Ive been in a shop or two....The guys at Blue Moon are among the best. A little rough around the edges maybe, but among the best.Recently bought a well-kept bike and it was probably the most professional experience ever. Someone there has a good eye for quality pre-owned bikes.
Great company to do business with. I found a BMW on their website and called to inquire. I worked with Dylan to get the sale done. Flew in from Dallas and rode it back the same day. The tech knew I was coming and did a shake down ride so I would get home safely. Honestly I wouldnt buy a bike from anywhere else. Thanks guys!!
I had a very good experience at Blue Moon. This was my Third BMW having shopped all over the country. My first contact with the Sales person Steve was exceptional, no pressure, took his time to give the full details of the bike. Steve made sure that the vehicle was as described online before I flew to Atlanta. Airport pickup was excellent, very charismatic and friendly gentleman by the name of Michael. Paul was very knowledgeable of the accessories involved in the purchase and the mechanic Phil professionally installed the parts, we were done within a short time. The dealership is in incredible condition, clean, free Saturday lunch which I enjoyed. The management should keep this team intact. I would shop again...
I bought my bike from Blue Moon and have been taking it in for service for years. The owner (John) seems to be in a foul mood every time I see him lately. Hes short with customers on the phone and raises his voice to employees and customers alike. His employees seem to walk on eggshells around him and his attitude makes for an uncomfortable customer experience at best. That said, the service from the mechanic and other staff has always been really good. I just wish John wouldnt be so abrasive to his staff and customers.I have no doubt that if I were to push back on his attitude, I wouldn’t be welcome to bring my bike back in for future repairs. If I had anywhere else to go to service my particular bike that wasn’t hours away, I’d do it in a heartbeat. As it is, I’m going to try someone else locally who will take on my bike, just so I don’t have to hear John being rude another time.
Unique, vintage and imported motor cycles that cannot be found other places
Emailed Lisa about a bike they had, 3 weeks later it was sitting in my driveway in another state. Great experience would do it again in a heartbeat.
1st Experience. I called and asked for a tow in order to replace my back tire. The guy on the phone immediately said Ill call you back. No eta not anything... Hung up. I never received my call back! Im glad Im in a happy mood today!
This is an Unique Place... all Motorbike Lovers should come. All kind of amazing stuff from the WWII to date is in here.
Not very nice. Didnt even look for my part. Said I dont think we have it. Thanks for all your hard work.
Best and coolest collection of old bikes in the Southeast.
Nice place.
Just took my R1200GS for 18K service and Will Never do this again.- Service took 7 hours ! more than $700 and they fail to close the left panel 3 times !! which makes me wander about the other items included in the service.- The bike is still under warranty and I reached out to BMW US with my concerns.- Its the 3rd time I service my bike there, and seems that there are new people in the service team.- Needless to say that the service manager is fully aware of the issues - and I hope that he shared this with the owner.I reached out to other BMW riders in Atlanta area as well as BMW US and will keep you updated.
THE BEST SERVICE EVER.I was traveling on my K 1200 s and somehow the computer stop working properly, no oil/no electro fan .4.50 pm .I called Cindy and she ask me a couple of questions . then she said the magic words We will wait for you . after the review the diagnosis wasnt that good, they need to order a new computer . So they take me back to the hotel and next day in the morning we arrange the pick up . One week later .They ride my bike everything was OK so I can get back to Miami in my Bike .Thanks Blue Moon Team .
Very nice vintage and European cycles. Purchased one for my wife.
Worked with me. Grateful.
If you like great vintage bikes, this is the place.
Bought a URAL Gear up in 2014 from BMC. Great service ever since. 28000 KM so far
Lots of vintage stuff, its like a museum. They also sell the stuff. He hosts a lot of events so you should definitely get out and check it out, maybe test drive a Ural.
One of two BMW dealerships in the Atlanta area; defitely the better choice ... good people, a reasonable selection of parts, and a free visit of Johns vintage motorcycle collection!
As others have said here, 1 of 2 BMW Motorcycle shops in Atlanta. The only one with a museum quality colleciton of vintage motorcycles, side cars and scooters from a WWI era Peugot to so many more.... The staff was great. They were knowledgeable and accommodating going so far as to let me test ride a white 1970s R90/6. And as far as I am concerned there was no conflict from the staff, there was no poor attitude from the staff, when they got to work thats exactly what they did.... work....and when it came time to pay my bill, they accepted my American Express for payment. Other shops have excuses, but this shop was exceptional in every way. Not bad for my first experience with them.
Awesome shop. Like a museum. Friendly staff.
Great service and candor, vibe
AWESOME local cycle shop!
