Great place for Indian food. Very good, fragrant and tasty food. They also have good and fast service. The happy hour menu is great. We found out that they have a buffet on weekends, so we are looking forward to trying it. They have a good variety of vegetarian dishes on the menu but only 1-2 vegan dishes, hence the 4 stars. They need to adapt more dishes to be vegan. I will be back.

Great stuff! Found this place on UberEats and they did a great job at packaging the order to ensure it was leakproof and arrived still hot temp.The flavors were really good and the portions were very generous.I would recommend to anyone looking for Indian flavors in the area.

We had lunch there for the first time on a Saturday. Super friendly and welcoming staff. The hostess explained to us the different buffet sections. Hand sanitation stations were provided throughout the restaurant. Bottled water was included in the buffet price. The food was very authentic to us- personally the vegetarian station was my favorite. There, I returned plenty of times for some more mint and spicy rice. A freshly mad crepe station was available also. I caught myself quite some times, asking an India native guest next to me, about a dish on the buffet menu- which they didnt mind answering at all. The only star Im subtracting is that there were a couple flies in the restaurant with us... An insect trap etc. would have been thoughtful. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Thanks

Beautifull Indian cuisine place! Such a nice quality dishes even on a buffet. Loved chicken masala, butter masala and goat stew (with the bones!), the chutneys were amazing as well! Make sure you cover your shirt with a napkin because all that beautiful masala is going to be all over you😋

Love it, I came with good friends and they introduced me to so many delicious foods. Start with the starters move onto the rice, pasta and meats finish with their delicious deserts. This restaurant is full of good vibes from beginning to end. You will love it!!!

Must buy dosa batter from swagath grocery storeI recently bought Dosa batter from the store and it’s extremely good .dosa came out really well unlike other brands batter this don’t have preservatives smell which I likedOne suggestion to the store people is please put on the packing and use by dates on the box

Awesome food. I ordered Veg Manchuria and chicken noodles spicy Indian style. The food is so good feels like you’re in India for a moment. My wife ordered vijaywada chicken biryani and she loved it. Will visit this place again and recommend it to my friends. Definitely everyone needs to give a try. Nice hospitality and staff is so welcoming.

Had an awesome dinner here last week. The Goan fish curry was awesome. The menu is extensive and has all the classics, plus a bunch of South Indian favorites I cant wait to go back and try.

Open sign with lock doors!You place an order wait for 30 mins and when you pick it up doors are locked, when you called the restaurant they tell you it’s open but actually they are opening doors in front of you. Order placed 11:05 AM Went to pick up 11:40 AM with doors locked. Sorry won’t be coming back neither will be recommending anyone.

Everything has been great both times that Ive visited. Atmosphere: very welcoming, the staff is very nice, the place is spacious and everything is clean. Food: I love that the dosa is made fresh in front of you, the buffet has lots of choices to choose from, the food has been delicious, I love that they divide the vegetarian section from the regular section, and I love that they provide filtered bottled water. I will be coming more often. The price is great!! I hope that doesnt change. The owner is very nice and attentive, he came up to my table and asked how everything was and how was the spiciness level. Wish they had samosas though.

Dont dare to call this restaurant and place an order when you are super hungry. I called the restaurant to place an order, there was a lady who answered the call and asked me to can I please be on hold. I was on the phone for around 20mins, no one answered me back. When I disconnected the call and try to call them back, its says the number is not available. I mean they could have told me straight that food is not available, they are totally sold out or they are not taking any orders but they didnt. Guess, they are least bothered about customers. I prefer going to Biryani Hub which is exact opposite to this restaurant, they answer the phone calls and make the food ready by time. Who thinks to go back to a restaurant when I got a alternate option with better service.

Its my second time here and i looooove it! We got here early so there were few people, a lot of people started coming in at around 12pm - Its like fiesta! Haha! Their food is just perfection! The staff is amazing! The place is clean. I learned a lot of indian foods too! Haha! Im definitely gonna go back!

I bought first time after new management came and I was totally disappointed. I ordered 2 chicken noodles .When I open the box at home there was no chicken in chicken noodles they just gave veg noodles and charged for chicken noodles. The new management doesn’t know what food customer ordered. But they have charged for it. Taste also not good compare to previous management. Also half tandoori chicken shd have atleast 4 pieces but they gave me only 3 pieces for ordering half tandoori chicken. On the whole I got disappointed with this new management.

Please improve your service because this is second time we had bad experience. They gave us appetizer after dinner and dosa was good but sambhar was so old so please improve your food quality as well.

Poor management. After they sitting and taking order I was told it will-take one hour. We were party of five which is not so of a big party, there were three other table go seated after us who was with 2-3 people and they serve them first. Very poor service . Lastly the food that we got was cold and sambhar has too much garammasala didn’t tasted like sambhar at all

I loved the buffet prior to COVID. Easily the best Indian buffet I’ve ever visited in the USA, and even at ones in just about every major city. These folks never sacrifice the real flavor of the cuisine. Their take out food is just as good!The store is open now as well. Clean, well lit and with a solid selection of all things needed to create some great dinners at home. Again, the people are wonderful who work there, ready to give out tips on how to make what you are cooking extra good or just to help you find something, there’s a kindness and openness here that you don’t often see.Check it out!

This Place was AMAZING, The food was as authentic as if you were in India yourself the Spicy Flavors and Aroma was nothing short of Spectacular and the Amount of food for the price was good, the place was extremely clean the serving staff was very attentive and cordial the food was hot and came out on a reasonable short time the Bread Basket was huge and after all that good food was consumed the desserts were even better I had the Tiramisu and my wife had the Butterscotch cake and we couldnt even decide which one was the best of them both. We will recommend this place to everyone and to let you know when the place is so good it was full of Indian Native People eating thats when you know the food is good and authentic.Thanks for your Service and thanks to tour staff for everything. Day by day the taste getting very worst than what I expected. Meat pieces are not cooked, sweet was not that good taste. I totally disappointed with this kind of service.

I only give 5 star to a restaurant if I really liked the taste. Food is delicious. Personally I liked the Vijayawada chicken biryani.

Great hospitality. The food was delicious and fresh. I had masala dosa and goat biryani. The dosa was super thin and crisp, and the potato filling with onion and cilantro was really really fresh. The goat meat was soft and tasty. Highly recommend!

I use to frequent the take out Lunch buffet here prior to covid, Ive always liked the variety of dishes that they offered on the buffet and the price wasnt bad either. Today is the 1st time I ordered take out from here since all of this started and I got the chicken 65 biryani and it was delicious and they give you a good amount as well. It also comes with a spicy sauce and yogurt cooling sauce on the side. I will definitely order take out from here again and cant wait to try their other dishes

I want to give less than one star but i dont have that option. Yesterday night i placed order from Uber eats. The taste of Chicken Majestic and Chilli Chicken is really bad. I also ordered family pack goat fry biryani which is bad i didnt expect this kind of food from this place. The only item in my order thats average in taste is Vijayawada chicken biryani. I can simply say that this restaurant ruined my family dinner yesterday. One last question Why you added coconut powder in Chicken Majestic is that the new thing you people are trying. Because the picture in your restaurant website and items that i received are totally different.

Kollipara had great customer service and the food was ginormous in portion and very flavorful and good!! They also have points you can receive on each purchase which I found nice as well which shows appreciation to the repeat customers!

Waited for 2 hrs and food was uncooked,ordered mild spice level for kids but spice level was spicy..not going to order again..

Value for money. Good taste on almost all of the buffet items. Pretty decent varieties for both Veg and Non-Veg. Spacious place for office lunches when there would be a group. One star less just because at least one or two items on the buffet was not warm.

I had placed order today for Gobi Manchurian for a pick up, by mistake in Swagath Plaza. We stay in North Carolina and we have Swagath Indian restaurant here in Cary town. In hurry I did not see the full address and placed the order made the payment as well. But when I went to pick up order here, we came to know I had placed the order in different city and different State. Long Story short when I called up Swagath Indian Plaza restaurant, the person who answered was so polite and went out of the way to help me and reversed my payment all though our order was also ready with no mistake of theirs. In a hurry I could not ask that person his name. So thank you very much for going out of the way and helping.

Good place for Hyderabad and Vikayawada Style Biryani

We had dinner with friends at Swagath Plaza on a Saturday night. Food was excellent. Lots of interesting and vibrant spices, tender meat. We tried several tandoori dishes, a vindaloo, and another dish that I had never tried before. At the end of the meal, our server even treated us with a dessert. Definitely will come again, and try lunch too!

Amazing lunch buffet. Only thing missing is a vegetable dish without much oil. Most vegetable dishes are made with a bit too much oil to make it tasty. One vegetable dish with very little oil would be the one addition that can make this buffet near perfect.

It is absolutely refreshing eating some of the same dishes from childhood. Fresh. Tasty. Moderate to spicy dishes to appeal to different palates. They are good at replenishing empty food trays at the buffet bar. Clean. Great variety. Excellent idea to include bottled water at your table to accompany your meals. Good service and friendly. Reasonably priced.

While heading back from VA Beach started hunting for Indian cuisine, Found Swagath on the way and stopped for a dinner. Ordered appetizers Veg Gobi Manchuria & Non Veg Chilli Chicken main course ( Butter Chicken, Kodi Kura and butter nan with Andhra Biryani) . I was very much impressed with the taste of the food. Reasonable price and best taste I have ever come across in America. Wish I would have such restaurant in ASHBURN,VA ..!!Very much impressed man..!!

The food was good! We had lunch buffet and they had made to order dosas!They should just add more info about the buffet on their website/menu. It would be great if there was a buffet menu posted somewhere in the restaurant so one would know whats included.

Best Indian restaurant I have ever been to including those abroad! The quality and presentation of the food was amazing and what you should expect from a five star experience and more. My wife and I brought my parents and our three kids. Everybody was delighted. Extremely helpful and friendly people. Owner on site and engaged as well. Military friendly! Plenty of room for large crowds with no waiting! Nothing was empty the entire time we were there. Even the drinks were included! :)

The locations is amazing, the ambience is so nice and the space is wide and open. Staff was very friendly and helpful with smiling faces. Food was excellent, fresh, tasty, well cooked with appropriate amount of spices. People who like low to moderate spicy foods must try this. Best Indian food I have ever tasted in US so far. I have been living in the US for 10 years and tried many Indian cuisines but Swagath is the best. Food aside.. I loved their hospitality. Ambiance is the cherry on top. Highly recommend Swagath. ❤

It was just OK Indian food. No real service. Lunch with tax is almost $15!! With tip a $18 lunch. Definitely not worth it. I will probably not be back. Nawab is a better choice for me.

Swagath Restaurant by far the best restaurant in Hampton Roads area. I had a great time when I went there with my colleagues from work and they as well. My Manager loved it so much he is willing to go to Swagath at least 3 times a week and me everyday. So If you are craving for Indian food this is a place to be. The food is awesome. A lot of variety to choose from. Dessert is amazing. I really look forward to going back to the restaurant again. GO VBW!

Food is The best i have ever had in Virginia, compaired to other Indian restaurants. Food is fully Indian spiced, its a lot hotter than other Indian restaurant. My lips is burning. One of the best restaurants that i have ever been to in US. First and foremost the ambience and service. I could put them on top where they take good care of customer and plenty of space where you could feel private on every table when compared to other restaurants. Next coming to food, they have a lot of varieties and mainly on weekends where you could see the whole buffet area full with items and never was a time i could see the vessels empty. Also the live dosa counter during buffet everyday is a great thing.When i visited the place like few minutes ago got to know that they are open on 31 dec. will be coming with my family for the dinner on end of the year.

Exquisite dining experience. Due to its relatively new presence in the Virginia Beach area, it has remained somewhat a low-key location. But, do not be confused: the food, the people, the overall environment (especially the amazing decorations) prove to be a culmination of culinary excellence. 10/10 would go to again, and I will be attending this restaurant every trip I make to the VA Beach area from now on.

This is the best Indian food we have tasted in USA so far. Amazing food!! Every item on the buffet tasted well. We were in the city for USCIS appointment and this was never on my plan until I was craving for some good lunch after a good walk in botanical garden. It was a wonderful surprise for us. I recommend everyone should taste this. Buffet has North Indian and south Indian dishes with super tasty biriyani and chicken curries.

Huge selection of food for lunch buffet. We went there while coming back from beach. I was overwhelmed by just looking at the buffet tables. 3 different sections with veg and non veg and various desert options. They had ice cream and tea. Taste on the other hand was just okay. Everything tasted little off. I was very excited to see jalebi for desert but the taste was not what I expected. May be it was fried in oil that was used for something else.
