Since ABC left, getting is is Absolutely horrible. Havent been able to use my machine in a month. Still waiting, and placed my third reorder again today. ๐ก๐ก๐ก๐ก
Absolutely terrible! I wish TriCare would get away from them. My CPAP equipment is worn and they will not send me new equipment, or the form I need to sign. Avoid at by all means! I have been waiting for my equipment for months! ABC the company the merged with would have it to me in two days.
Apriaโs corporate accounting office cannot explain their own charges, or provide definitive answers, with regard to the cost of equipment. As a customer, that is totally unacceptable. There are plenty of vendors, selling the same products, who can easily provide those answers and more. Shop around, Apria is not the only option.
I am a disabled Veteran this people has no regards for the customers they serve I had Medicaid in NYC and they just found ways to say that I have no coverage. Please please STAY AWAY OF THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL ONLY STEAL FROM YOU THE CHANCE THEY HAVE
Jamie was such a great help in finding my wheelchair for surgery! Kudos to you for being fantastic !
They always messed up the orders. I would get anxiety just trying to call them back to get it fixed. They would say they were going to send my daughters food, I waited a week to call back when we were almost out, to have them say they didnt have any doctors orders and that they tried. But they never contacted me about the situation. My daughter ran out more than once and you cant go to a grocery store for her food. The final straw was when my daughter changed gtube sizes. When you change sizes, you are supposed to get two. One for immediate use and one in case peps or gets pulled out. The worker adamantly denied that Tricare would pay for it. I called Tricare since we had changed sizes before and they had covered it. The case manager said that of course they would .They said they couldnt call Apria, but Apria could call them. Their worker refused which was probably the best thing to happen, since I had no other choice but to change durable medical equipment providers. Now I dont have any anxiety about talking to their agents. If theres going to be a paperwork problem, they notify me right away. Things go smoothly.
Apria healthcare has been professional theyve helped us in every way they can when we were in need of a bed and other supplies I would recommend them to anyone out there they have come through for us every time we have needed them I recommend them to anyone out there I hope we can have further experiences with them in the future thank you very much
Absolute worst experIence with a medical supply company! Hung up on twice no one knows what they are doing spoke to 5 people now and still charged twice for tubing that I havenโt received yet! Still no resolve an hour later!!
Always denies getting Doctors ordersMake you feel itโs you thatโs wrong and you contact the doctor office even though you know it was sent. Not just one time but three with two different doctor practices. They will deliver oxygen to me every 4 weeks even though I need it every 1 to 1.5 weeks. I am using 10 LPM they will tell you the first order they have is 3 Lpm. So they have been told my oxygen has changed. They will tell others we will get in touch like thatโs really going to happen. And if I call them as a reminder they will just say call doctor. They are rude and doesnโt care anything about customer needs And the respiratory shape l am in trying to load empty bottles into my car and drive to exchange for full bottles has been not a good for me. I would like to figure out how to exchange oxygen provider while I can still breathe
I was looking for a local company to supply for my CPAP needs. looked in to Apria Healthcare and took a chance with them. As with all the other reviews of this company it is accurate to say that the reviews are well stated. I started my process on July 23, with a message from a representative that I will have a word from them with in 3-5 business days. I have call back to check and see if there was any movement on my request and have not really gotten any answers. It is past 10 business days now and tried calling them with a rep telling me that I should get a reply with in 5-10 business days. The phone number listed is a local number but it sounds like the phone service is out sourced. I am at a point where I need a new machine and the service with company is sub par. I will be contacting the company to pull my order and switch to another company for services. Please for any one looking into this company please stay away. The hassle with just trying to obtain any services from this company is not worth the wait.
Horrible customer service. They have had my prescription for two weeks and never called or emailed. Called today and was told I had to speak to a resupply line. Was on hold twice for 30 mins each time. I have decided to look for another supplier for my CPAP.
Worst customer experience of my life. Totally unreachable. Never follow through with what they say they will do. Takes 10 min to reach a human. Never delivered my equipment. Do not have knowledgeable customer service reps. Not available after 1 pm to assist via phone??? What the heck. Never do business with these guys.
If I could give them negative stars I would. I dont understand how they have so much control over peoples lives and then dont give a damn about them. Ive been fighting for 6 weeks to get something and Ive been told over and over again that it doesnt exist and they dont have it. Ive gotten by with replacing a part until my daughters oxygen regulator blew in the middle of the night. Ive been lied to that its in the warehouse and then put on a truck and on its way. Now Im told again it doesnt exist because they GOOGLED it and couldnt find it! Google!!! Youre a damn nationwide company that now relies on Google to see if you can carry it?!?! And it was like pulling teeth for them to contact the Apria office (we moved) we got it from whom we contacted today and said EVERY Apria office has access to this. My daughter is 4 months old and will die without her oxygen. These people should be sued.
My mother was relocating from one state to another and in need of oxygen to be set up in the new state. She is currently receiving oxygen - passed and found to be medically necessary in the last 10 days.I started this process 5 days early and this company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. All documents were faxed on a Friday morning and the process began - I spoke with 11 reps over the course of 5 days, all giving me different information and the complete run around.. I felt like I was stuck in a prank! Messages were left on my phone with no extension or information other than to call back the 888 general number . Problem is:1) their phone system keeps sending you into a constant circle of choosing options - press 1,2,3,4 etc., and the only way I could finally speak to anyone was to finally choose the option stating that I was a medical professional. I cannot imagine being a patient / elderly and having to go through that maize! AWFUL!2) Most reps I spoke with were not fluent in English, which I honestly donโt mind, but come on, we are dealing with medical stuff here - I had to repeat myself over and over and had such trouble understanding ( I speak three languages) them. This led to increased frustration.3) Everyoneโs option was โI will escalate this callโ yet in Apriaโs world that seems to mean absolutely nothing. I was told that a supervisor would call me - I waited hours.4) My mom moved to the new city and state last night and we were supposed to have oxygen waiting. I called from the road - 7 hrs before arrival and got the same run around (this time the story changes to needing to qualify for air even though she literally was released from the hospital less than two weeks ago, and passed all test requiring oxygen). I finally refused to get a โcallbackโand spoke with a โmanagerโ, who again โescalatedโ my call and assured me my mother would have oxygen.. yet we arrived and nothing. No call back, no oxygen..Heed this warning: Find another provider for your medical needs. โ I will. This company deserves the 1.7star review that you see from others - I have not read their reviews but my guess is that they are all saying the same thing: APRIA is a nightmare to deal with.Life is too short for this.
The worst company branch! And no way to complain to corporate. I swapped to another company out of desperation. I suggest before you waste a minute more of your time, that you do the same. Try Lincare.
Maps not working.
Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. Fortunately I am only trying today get a hospital bed. Use another service if you possiby can. They pay no attention to delivery times. Customer service is in another country and the phone delay is so bad you just talk over each other. Having surgery is easier than dealing with these people!
I would give my local Apria Healthcare office a 0-0.1 if possible. I have been disabled for several conditions in 2000. Due to multiple carbon monoxide poisonings in late Dec. 2013โFeb. 26, 2014, I permanently lost >50 % of my combined lung function. My Oยฒ Sat % rollercoasters hourly & has frequently dropped down to 37%โ60%, which almost killed me 2 times before I could be taken to the closest ER for help. My plummeting Oยฒ Sat % frequently causes blackouts, falls & multiple spine injuries, which resulted in severe head to toe pain greater than 6 Oxycodone/day barely improved, 1 yr of bedrest hell while awaiting pulmonary approval for much-needed multi-level cervical & lumbar discectomies & fusion surgeries. I couldnt stand up straight or safely shuffle my feet more than 10 ft to the bathroom without more blackouts. It took 6-12 months to get a home oxygen machine from Apria because they required multiple overnight Oยฒ Sat tests because the test results werent submitted for insurance approval on a timely manner. My insurer advocate calls me several times each month to check on me & repeatedly said I dont need to undergo additional Oยฒ Sat tests for getting approved for a lightweight Inogen One G3 portable Oยฒ concentrator due to my documented permanent lung damage & ongoing insufficient Oยฒ Sat % history. My Pulmonologist submitted his request for my Inogen One G3 as suggested by my insurer. Apria called my Drs office to say โApria refused to approve & issue my Inogen unless I perform an extended walking test for Apria. Mr Pulmonologists office suggested I call Apria to explain why I cant & wont be able to do Aprias extended walking test. I called my local Apria office. The woman insisted she had the sole responsibility & power to deny my Pulmonologists approval & my insurer advocates request if I dont do their walking test. After several go-arounds with her obnoxious rehearsed & repetitive speech, I asked her what they do for patients who physically cant do the test, she reluctantly said they fax a special forms to my Pulmonologist for completion & signature. She quickly said it was faxed to my doctor several times & it hadnt been completed & refaxed to Apria. I asked what the form was & she said it was the Inogen One G3 request form. So, obviously they didnt need me to do their damn walking test for medical reasons because Im sure it was for their fees & profits. I told her to refax it NOW & I will recall my Pulmonologist to make sure it was received, completed, signed & refaxed to Apria. My Pulmonologist received that 1 faxed form, completed, signed & refaxed it plus my recent lung function tests to Apria AND to me for my records. NOTE: For my current & future safety concerns, my high probability of blackouts, falls & further injuries, my inability to perform their rest & my conversations with my insurer advocate, I adamently refuse to do their extended walking test because my multiple disabilities prevent me from doing so per my numerous doctors who have treated me for 20+ yrs, DMV issued & renewed my handicap placard 19 yrs based on my doctors request for my inability to walk very far, I use a cane & walker, I underwent recent my multi-level cervical discectomies & fusion surgery & my recent multi-level lumbar discectomies & fusion surgery, as well as, I cant afford to risk severe permanent damage or paralysis if I blackout, fall & reinjure the sections of my recent spine surgeries that dont have any or sufficient new bone growth to replace the removed discs. I got a call from a different Apria woman yesterday: Shes obnoxious with patients. She started off insisting on me doing their test or she wouldnt submit the Inogen One G3 form to my insurer. I refused & explained why. Then, she said no supporting documentation was faxed with the Inogen form. I told her that wasnt truthful because my Pulmonologist faxed the form + documentation to Apria AND Me. She was busted in another lie & said it didnt matter because the Imogen One G3 was on backorder for 30 people they screened & approved before me.
If i could give zero stars i would!! We used to have no problem with ordering our CPAP supplies until the calls went to overseas call centers! These people have no clue what they are doing and its virtually impossible to have a conversation with them! Im ready for a new CPAP supplier, im that frustrated!! Even when ask to be sent back to the US, they cant even handle that request! They call ME and have no clue what they are doing! Im extremely disappointed with Apria!!
I am appalled by the insanely repeatedly remarks that my order is being processed, A BROKEN RECORD. on January 3, 2018 sent in a fax for a KNEWW SCOOTER.at 11:55 am. Today is January 16, 9:23 am NO SCOOTER? Your in my same city, what the hell is the problem? These orders are placed for serious issues, I would love to hear a reasonable explanation.
Had to use them, they are the only ones around with the item in stock, but would never CHOOSE to use. First person to call was fine, very helpful, confirmed order and scheduled delivery for Friday. I arranged my schedule to suit. Then Wednesday afternoon called to say if I wanted delivery this week, it HAD to be Thursday. I said that Thursday was bad for me, but I had to have my items (family member being discharged to come home) so I would make sure to be home by 3:30-4. The man said ok. Then Thursday morning, the delivery guy called and said hed be here between 2-3! I said, no, I will be in the dentist chair, you have to come later, 3:30-4, 4 would be better. So he said ok. So I rushed to get home by that time. Now I call the delivery hotline and it says that the delivery will be here between 6pm and 9:30pm! WHAT?I canceled my day Friday to be here, then changed to Thursday and rushed to be home for 4 pm, and now they arent coming until tonight? And yes, the customer service is TERRIBLE. You call a local number, go through phone trees pressing 3, 4, 1, etc, and end up talking to someone in Pakistan on a horrible connection.
I receive my cpap supplies from this company, which has a local office near me but when i tried to contact that same office I am always rerouted to an overseas call center who then has to call the actual office to answer my questions. That is not acceptable to me and i will be changing providers immediately.NOW 6 years after first review they are even worse. Had a completely rude representative who constantly talked over me and insisted I was wrong. I am so relieved that after all this my doctor has referred me to a different company. They need to clean up their customer service system. Good riddance to a bad healthcare company
Terrible. So disorganized. Other reviews are accurate re: overseas calling center. Am changing to MED.
This business is the worst. Lost supplies. Overcharged. No one can answer questions. Go somewhere else
Poor customer service - too many call transfers, too many errors - its a shame since the people are nice once you finally get to the right person. But you seldom get to the right person.
Im always rerouted to an overseas call center who then has to call the actual office to answer my questions. That is not acceptable to me
The staff is superb!
