If I could give zero stars... Casey and Gunner were cool. But watch out for the lazy owner, mark. They had my car for almost 3 weeks, and I had spoken to mark about fixing EVERYTHING wrong with my car (the check engine light was on) we discussed this TWICE. It was not done. Which really irked me because mark specifically said multiple times to me that thats why it was taking so long: because they were doing the check engine light . When I did get my car back, the right side of my dash did not work, the emergency brake was messed up (they did fix that though) they didnt put together everything they tore apart, and new lights was on my dash.and of course my car broke down again because of the same issues I came in for. Current mechanic said team automative really cheapened out to fix it, and barely did the minimum. So thanks.

Fantastic people! My dodge dually broke down around Bloomington while on vacation late on a Sunday. I did not know the area, so tow truck driver recommended Team Automotive. I left my truck and a message Sunday night, and they called me first thing Monday morning.They were very professional and courteous, I am a very happy customer!! Im so happy to have my truck back.

My boyfriend has had to be towed here twice and both times they were very helpful, super kind and didn’t make it feel like a scammy transaction like some repair shops can. Also the fact that they use Napa gives me great confidence in the quality of their products.

We had come to Normal as part of our vacation on a Saturday night and had planned to leave on Tuesday. The last hour on the road our check engine light was on. On Monday I called a couple dealerships and they where to buissy. When I called Team Automotive they got me right in. There where major issues and parts that had to come from Chicago but they got the car ready by Tuesday. Then on the test drive the radiator went out. Team Automotive even got the radiator replaced and still on the road by 2:30. Great people to work with.

Customer Services was excellent. TA went above and beyond. They provided us with a loaner vehicle while ours was getting services. Unfortunately, the loaner vehicle got towed :-/ Completely our fault. Mark from TA took extra time out of the day to ensure we had all the notarized documentation we need to retrieve the vehicle from the city which I am sure was a pain for him. He was very friendly about it. I cant say enough about them. Thanks again and sorry for the hassle!

Do yourself a favor and find someplace else!I went out to start my car to find that the starter wasnt working at all. No click, nothing. Wasnt my battery cause the radio and wipers still worked and it wasnt my alternator.I ended up having to call roadside assistance to get it towed and they said this was the closest place to tow it so I agreed. Biggest mistake ever!They had my car for almost a week (their excuse being their mechanic wasnt in for three days straight!), ran dozens of test only to tell me they have no idea what was wrong with my car! Then they charged me $200 for all the tests they ran, and told me to tow it to the dealership which I then had to pay for out of my own pocket.Basically this all amounted to them holding my car for a week, doing nothing for it, then running a bunch of expensive unnecessary tests to have someone else fix the problem. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to fix your car. Someone who will actually fix it. Total rip off

Had an issue with my sons car who is a student at illinois state. They accepted his car as a tow in. When I called to get a status waa told they hadnt looked at it. I called later in the afternoon and the said they were swamped and offered him a car to use which his was there such a great service. Thank you for the care from our of towners.

The repairs to my sons 2006 Altima were done well and quickly. All the individuals I was in contact with were very empathetic to my problem. They provided a loaner to me. That was very helpful also. The MAF (mass air flow sensor) was priced really high compared to auto parts stores and internet by nearly double. The labor rate was very fair however. I would recommend this shop for your auto repairs.

Im a college kid - not from in town - so when I needed somewhere to bring my car, I consulted the internet and found Team Automotive. Dude, let me tell you - I love these guys. I dont know very much about cars; and these guys have proven to be honest, professional, and caring every time Ive brought it over there.They know what theyre talking about, explain things well (so that I can in turn explain it to my mother over the phone) and have this great courtesy car. Everyones super nice and friendly; and they do good work.Its nice to have a place that I can trust and enjoy doing business with. :)

Talk about being taken advantage of as a college student with minimal knowledge of car repairs. this place over charged me to perform repairs on my vehicle. and when asked about it to Kc he did not offer to help. they replaced an expansion tank on my Bmw and was told it was Napa part i the looked up the same part by the part number attached to my invoice and was billed $176.72 the part from Napa is $99.31 plus tax this place. this was not acceptable i picked up may car and paid the full amount i just want everyone to know this place will over charge you for everything be aware.

When my sons headlights quit on his 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, Team was able to get the vehicle in same day we called. While the vehicle was there they called to say we were passed due for oil change and tire roatation (which we were), they had the lights repaired and maintenance done by 5:30 that same day!!!! I can’t say enough about the professionalism and great customer service at Team!!! Thanks Team!!!

Tried to charge me over 800 dollars for a head gasket repair (ended up getting it done at Hartnell Automotive for half of that. Today I called to try and get a quote for a water pump repair, and was greeted with Steven saying hi 5 times. Once I finally got it through to him that I wanted a quote for a water pump replacement he kept talking over me so I couldnt tell him the make and model of my car. He ended up hanging up on me. Will never call this place again, and would greatly encourage everyone who will listen not to waste your time here. I dont even know why they are still in business.

Please find a better shop to get your car repaired unless if you want to spend your money for nothingI gave my car for repair on a, b, c issues...which one consists of fixing lights inside, I mentioned it properly. I got the car back, Instead of fixing the lights I was mentioning they fixed the tail light and other stuff which I havent asked for, was charged labor. Its Ok Im not worried. Later I found the lights I was talking about were not fixed. Next day I been to the place saying my lights didnt got fixed. They fixed em and charged labor again for $35. I was surprised . I came here to get stuff fixed for which I considered need to be fixed, got fixed for stuff im not worried. Been to place next day to speak to management And asked if its appropriate of charging me again was told Sorry for the inconvenience will get your next oil change for half price, we will remember. Nothing written on bill or anything.Its totally not fair, I am not worried on going back to them again and again but I was not happy on charging me over again, They had the fault and I had to pay the penalty.

Quoted price for repair then when I took it in they stated quote was wrong and wanted $300 more. Also needed a power steering hose replaced, they ordered wrong part so that didnt get accomplished either. Wont be back.

I have taken all of my previous corvettes here and wouldnt trust anyone else with my current one. My most recent issue dealt with a loosening crank pulley. Not only did Rod fix it, but he recommended a solution that would prevent it from happening again. Sure they arent the cheapest in town, but Ive been to the cheapest and they nearly ruined my car with shoddy work. They are incredibly honest and up front with their work and prices. I seriously dont understand the bad feedback. Sounds like a lot of butthurt coming from people that dont understand how a business works. Do yourself a favor and at least get your car diagnosed there first, then decide on the repair. They at least know what theyre doing.

The only place in the area that will accept automotive fluids for recycling. They accept oil, gasoline, and most other fluids at no charge. They accept radiator coolant for $1 per gallon.

In just a month weve had two very good experiences with this business. The first was when our sons car had trouble shortly after arriving as a freshman at ISU. They did the work for a reasonable cost and didnt try to take advantage of him. The next was when I had an accident during family weekend at ISU. Because of our previous experience, I had the tow truck drop the van off at Team since it was not driveable and we live two hours away. We communicated by phone for several days and they got the work done and even replaced our wiper blades at no charge after test driving and noticing one was damaged. They just made it all very painless. The bill wasnt painless, but that was just the nature of the damage.

Horrible price, charge 26.99 for alignment check where compare to tire barn and tire plus they are free. Also horrible price 84 an hr? serious? most shops dont charge over 70 an hr. what makes you guys so special?. Horrible price they gave me an estimate for 1300 and charged me for my alignment and i got everything changed for 400 at else where. I purchased four new tires. In the 13th month one wheel started to vibrate violently and I took it to the nearest mechanic and learned that it had tread separation. I took it back to team Auto. They made me pay over $100 for a new tire even though the defective one was only 13 months old. They later offered a measly $30 refund for the defective tire. Of course it is Firestones problem and they must adhere to the firestone protocol. No, I purchased the tire from team auto and not from Firestone. Team auto should have replaced the tire and not charge me a dime. It was defective. End of story. They should deal with Firestones return policy on their own time and their own dime. It is called standing behind the product that you sell.

I went in to get my oil change off a promotion that they sent me in the mail. When i arrived, they did not even greet me. They were very rude and have terrible customer service. I am never going back again! i refuse to give anyone money to a business that does not respect me as a customer.

Overpriced. Poor service. Poor quality. Not easy to work with. Wouldnt allow customer to speak to mechanic who worked on car to ask questions about any issues quoted - red flag.
