Terrible terrible management. Yelled at me for no reason and swiped a mask right out of my hand

Only been in a couple of times, and Ive enjoyed it each time! Too bad the hours are horrendous and they are barely open. I lived right next to this place for a whole school year and every time Ive wanted to stop by, theyve been closed.

Very nice place prices can get high but everything is good quality, I would highly suggest going here rather than any other book store in Bloomington. Never had a bad experience here, always good customer service. Save your time and go here first.

Just went in n out to pick up some books and attendant freaked out seeing my dog with me. I didn’t see any signs or anything regarding pet policy on the website. Never had a problem before. Last time visiting or purchasing from the Alamo

The Alamo II is my favorite bookstore and their sweatshirts are always super cute

Ordered 3 items for shipment to a Florida. Received an email that items were shipped the same day, received them 3 days later. Excellent service! In all honesty, no surprise given their excellent service every time I have shopped at the Alamo II. Great business!!

Its the best place to find an ISU Redbird T-shirt, hat, or other item to show your Redbird Pride! Been hitting the Alamo up since we went there 30 years ago!

The manager, Larry, at this location was very unhelpful. He had poor customer service skills and showed no respect towards me or his employees.Prices for books are overpriced. I recommend CHEGG. The books are typically HALF the price of what Alamo II sells them for. They give free shipping and return shipping, and they give you a courtesy free 7 day online book while you wait for your textbook to arrive.

This place is a joke! The people working there are so rude (over the phone and in the store) and have no idea what the word polite is. The manager downstairs wasn’t the greatest help either. Will never be going there again for future books, etc. Honestly your better off finding your school stuff somewhere else.

Horrible customer service! I grabbed something off the clearance rack and was checking out and it rang up full price. The supervisor was rude when I pointed out it was supposed to be on clearance. Horrible customer service, I left and will never spend money at this over priced store.

Awful management and astronomically high prices. I wouldnt even bother. My suggestion is get your books online, you will pay less and spend less time doing it.

Less a bookstore and more a sports apparel shop that also sells books. (One must literally descend into the basement to see even one book.) As an instructor, Ive noticed that they tend to under-buy, but youre getting a better deal on Amazon anyway. Prices on standard school supplies are hugely inflated. $10 for a drawing pad? No, thank you.

Totally rude manager

Went to pick up a package and was looking at a couple tshirts as I waited for assistance up at online pick up counter and everytime I turned around the manager was looking at me or shall I say watching me. Not once asking me if I had been helped or needed help. Creepy!

OMG, the prices are really high. The same books are way cheaper on Amazon. DO NOT SHOP here. They steal money from poor students. Someone should open up a store across from them and make them go out of business. Would not want to shop here again. Do no recommend this place.
