Awesome helpful staff very clean. Price is a bit high and Im removing a star because theyre produce really is often horrible. Well stocked fairly easy to find things. Theres a butcher shop there is a deli, Bakery. They have LIVE cashiers which I appreciate. I will go here during holidays because they are union I believe and have better benefits than typical stores. al

I drive past Wal mart to get here. The lines are never crazy, it has not be out of anything Ive looked for. The place seems clean, bathrooms clean too. The deli has a good selection and the hot food / sides counter is awesome. A+ chicken

The floral department is second to none!! I have been getting fresh arrangements for my mother each Sunday for the last 10 weeks. Each one has lasted for a minimum of 10 days with most lasting 2 weeks. Keep up the great work!

Great place to shop. Great sales in their paper as well as in their digital app. You are not doing yourself justice if you dont have their app downloaded. Every new sale you can get free rewards and rock bottom deals. I also love how nice and neat the store always is. Their presentation is phenomenal. If youre in the neighborhood, stop by and rack up on some great deals and even better customer service.

They just put in a self checkout which reduces the the line times here. Great addition.

Honestly havent been inside so I cant give a full 5 stars yet, but I love that they have recycling available to everyone who wants to recycle. They have 3 giant metal dumpster-like receptacles in the corner of their parking lot that are open for anyone to use, just be sure to sort your recycling appropriately!

They have good sales and the staff is always friendly. Whenever Im visiting back home from being all around, it has always been good.

I was having a hard time picking out a ham & the deli workers were very helpful. The woman that showed me where the hams were also gave me some wonderful advice on choosing a delicious ham. Thank you!

At this store, on Hovey, the personnel is always pleasant and willing and ready to assist when they are asked. The manager immediately opened another checking lane when needed and helped check-out.

They have everything I want and some Chicago-based brands I cant find anywhere else. I know I can be in and out in a minute when I come here. Everything is right where its supposed to be and well stocked.

This is a store that has weekly sale items I sometimes prefer, I especially like the ice they sell (barrel shaped not chunks) nice produce, pastries and health food section as well.

Staff was unwilling to help across other departments. Stockers expressed attitude when asked about product. Took 27 minutes to locate basic items like Isopropyl alcohol. Better jewel options in town. Oakland,college are both helpful and freindly. This one is closest, luckily so is the competition

Weve lived in the area for over 20+ years and have always had a good experience coming to this Jewel Osco.But on this last visit was not so friendly.Me & My sister went to get money orders.The manager at the customer service desk Mariah was beyond rude.She first asked us loudly why we needed the money order.We have never been asked that.With customers behind us hearing everything & no privacy.She let us know we need to give our social security number for the amount that we were getting in money orders.They had a sheet of paper put & we simply questioned why was that needed because she would be writing it on a open sheet of paper.We asker her under what amount do they not need a SSC and she told us she couldnt tell us.We also asked where is it at in the policy.She didnt show us that.A young man by the name of Dylan was the one hands on with our money order & he was very polite.Mariah then walked out of the area and slammed the door showing she had a attitude with us.She left Dylan to count such a large amount of money by his self which was very unprofessional because she has a leader position.I called Jewels the following morning and a manager by the name of Lucas listened to my concerns.I then called the corporate office to let them know how our experience was.We spent about 15 mins talking.Later in the day a manager by the name of George Barlow called me & left a voicemail.I called him back and he sounded like he was reading from a sheet of paper on what his replies would be about my experience.He said Mariah was new to her position & he also said there is a policy for needing the social security number.He told me he would talk to Mariah.There was no reassurance that this would not take place again and we were on the phone for 5 minutes or less.I felt like all he did was justified why his associate was rude, disrespectful & treated us the way she did. I will not be blind to the lack of respect we experienced on Thursday 9/24/20! If Mariah is going to have poor customer service & show her frustrations then maybe she is in the wrong field.

My review concerns the Chefs Kitchen. I called on Saturday, August 29, to place an order for an important family dinner on Sunday, August 30. We had family from out-of-town. I ordered 2 orders of fried chicken and 2 orders of broiled chicken. When I opened the containers to serve the chicken, we had four orders of broiled chicken -- no fried. My guests specifically wanted fried. So, I called the store to inform them of the mistake. The young lady who answered turned the call over to Nancy. Nancy was very gracious and offered to bring the fried chicken to our home.Well, we were delighted when the chicken arrived, piping hot and very delicious. All of the chicken was very good. We will order from this store again.

Store is fine and is clean. Some of the stuff is a little high but over all its a nice place to shop.

This store has a cozy, welcoming feeling, but maybe its because Im so familiar with it. At any rate, its nothing new, nothing fancy, but is always clean, always well stocked. Its well-lit and the atmosphere is laid-back.

I guess Im old fashioned but I still like newspapers. Im happy that Jewel carries multiple papers. Even if you dont make money on the papers, it gives me a reason to visit your store, and maybe buy something else.

Cashier was very unfriendly. Stock boy was to busy talking to another cashier and two girl customers to help bag our groceries. We did it all ourselves and we had a very full cart. Did not put the customer first.

Ive shopped at this store for years. Its clean, the associates are nice/helpful, aisle are large and not cluttered. They have weekly sales, and have items on sale that sometimes are not advertized. Like those surprises.

The customer service has gotten worse over the years!! Seems like (some)employees are pretty young and lazy and their attitudes could use some improving. Not willing to go out of their way to help answer questions or help find an item. A few times people at the service counter have literally shrugged at my question and shooed me away, for instance like today around 6pm. (Employee at service counter was casually chatting with another employee before I spoke up).I gave it three stars because I do like the small size of this jewel making it easy to get in and out with what you need quickly. Sometimes there is an item you cant find other places but the jewel is pricey and I prefer shopping elsewhere (even the other jewel).

I just popped in for grapes. Not my usual grocery store. I was shocked at the price. I left without buying anything. Very expensive compared to other stores. Back to Kroger for me.

Its convenient & close. Competitive w/other grocery stores. I like the selection of items. Jewel Osco has the best prices on their soda, especially the 12 packs.

Very friendly, great deals, nice shopping experience. I love walking in to a store that almost always smells like fresh baked goods or food right out the oven.

Really the only grocery store on the west side of Normal so they have a captive audience for anyone who doesnt want to drive to the east side of town. The only other alternative is what is called Ghetto Kroger on Main street in Bloomington. But they are a well run store. There prices are higher and the store in not huge. I would not want to shop for a family there. But for a few items they are the only store in their area of town.

Wish there was a Jewel in Peoria area

Food prices are higher than other similar stores. Butcher refused to break up a large package of chicken into a smaller portion for one person. This store does offer 10% off for seniors on Tuesday.

Jewel-Osco is truly a jewel of a grocery store. The store on the corner of College and Hovey is immaculate. The shelves are always full and faced perfectly. Everything is easy to find. They have many incredible buy one get one every day. The produce, meat, deli and fresh fish selections are plentiful and fresh. Their prices are competitive with the huge super-stores. Its a myth. I know because I have done comparative shopping if common household items. The difference amounts to approximately +/- on or two dollars. The pharmacy is top notch. No long lines. No confusion. Being smaller you get to know the very pleasant and friendlyemployees buy their first name. And they remember your name. Check out is quick as they always gave many lanes open. Check it out. I know you will enjoy the experience. The atmosphere is like a small town grocery. A very relaxed atmosphere. And you dont have to waste time walking a few miles from aisle to aisle to find what youre looking for.

Used to work for Jewel/Osco a while back and its an ok place to shop for groceries.

Shopping for a pie, better yet...half a pie! Yup, they have that and more. Never tire of visiting this site.
