Placed an order 17 JUN 21. There has been literally no communication unless I call. When someone does answer the phone the run around begins. If it’s the young lady who answers, she’ll happily take your information and then assure you that she’ll make sure the boss gets back to you. He never does.If “the boss” answers the phone, he’s too busy to help.I have made over 20 attempts to contact these people; they’ve answered the phone about 5 times. I’ve left a message every time. I’ve left my email with the female at least twice and my phone number 3x.All I want is a tracking number for my order, so it doesn’t sit on my doorstep.

We have been trying to get a gun delived to them and they refused to accept the delivery because his license isnt up to date so now my gun is getting sent back and i have to pay shipping again. Definitely not the right way to run a business. Disappointed to say the least.

Tuesday afternoon around 3:30pm arrived to business, no one around. Shop was closed. Dear business owner, I’m sure you can update your Google Maps to show that you have adjusted your business hours to let people know that you are currently closed. Doesn’t matter for what reason, just saves your customers time by not driving out to your business to discover that your closed. I’ll visit one more time before I throw in the towel and consider this place not worth my time and effort.Update after response from owner: so what’s wrong with 24hr notice…? Seems a little unorganized and irresponsible. I understand how emergencies pop up, but you’re running a business that has store hours for a reason. I would think that you would have at least a three day window of upcoming events or meetings that you need to attend, that your brick and mortar needs to be closed. I see a bit of laziness and lack of ambition, but that’s just my opinion. If you are not able to accept constructive criticism then you have more problems than I am willing to deal with. Like I said in my original review. I’ll try one more time to visit your establishment in the next few weeks and if your store is closed again than I know that this wasn’t a random occurrence, but a blatant disregard of responsibilities.As to respond to use of Facebook, I refuse to use a platform that doesn’t respect your privacy and sells your data for top dollar. I don’t have the luxury to have access to Facebook due to their extreme abuse of American’s privacy. Up until around 2010 I was forbidden to have a Facebook account due to my “Line of Work.”

Bore sighted 2 guns for me, were very helpful and did quick work.

Ive been in Law-enforcement for over 20 years and retired and always went to outside ranges. This was my first time and my sons (19years old) experience in a indoor range. The staff was very helpful and great to talk too and very informative. Will definitely make it a weekly thing with my son.

Can not get anyone on the phone. How am I supposed to know what you have or if it is even worth my drive if you dont answer the phone. Its not like everyone and their mother has the time to just drive up to see 1 if you are open and 2 if you have what Im looking for if you can not answer a damn phone? Why waste my time coming by if you dont have what I need?

Ive known these guys for a bout 15 years. They have always been super nice and they run a great gun shop and range. I have bought several firearms from them and will continue to support their business.

Wayne was so helpful with my boyfriend and I as first time shooters. Gave us a lot of pointers, and even let us borrow his personal guns when none were available at the time. Definitely will be back!!

Ive been a customer at AAT since they opened on Flood. I dont spend a ton of money but James and the crew always treat me like Im their best customer.Coffee is usually on and the conversation at the table is often interesting.

Would do 0/5 if it was an option. Purchased 8 lbs of powder through gunbroker that American Armory & Tactical was selling. Payment went through immediately, December 16th. Called several times to get tracking information only to be told the shipment was placed on hold briefly due to the the delivery driver contracting covid, which was in December. I have called numerous times since without receiving a response to my voicemails or messages left with personnel asking for an update. 2/17, over two months since they received funds and I have not even received tracking, let alone a call back.

Was a store at 10:00 when it says it would be open. And they werent. Peaked in the window to look at merchandise and it look like the stores wasnt very stocked. Had heard had great selection ???

Small range, but the staff is very friendly and the facility is quaint and well maintained. Their backstop is not strong enough to use rifles that fire .556 or .223 (unless it’s frangible ammo) but it’s perfectly adequate for pistols and carbines. They also offer a student discount! I will definitely be coming back with my friends

Stopped by for the first time earlier today. Employees were friendly, respectful, and easy going. Went to the range which was clean and in good condition. Appreciate that they give discounts to veterans and those in the helping professions. I will definitely be back soon!

From the short time I was in the shop, place was full of happy people getting good training. Guys behind the counter were glad to answer any and all questions. I would recommend this place for safety/shooting training any day. But I would avoid using them to ship a weapon as they seem more like a family business so perhaps a little disorganized. Overall good experience.

I want to be fair and describe my full experience, though I am very frustrated. I purchased a firearm and two additional magazines. The price was great! After I read a few reviews, I decided to see if I could return the original two extra magazines for two separate ones. James was nice enough to return the originals and order the new ones to have delivered to my house. I would pay the difference following the delivery. Well, I waited about a month and hadnt received them. I called to check on the order, and James said they should have arrived. He said he would report it and have them mailed to me again, requiring a signature. I waited another two or three weeks and didnt receive them. I was more than patient. I never received any shipping notices. I talked to James again and he said he would have some delivered to the store and I could pick them up. I went to pick them up from the store twice after they were supposed to be in. They still have not provided the magazines or a refund which I requested about two weeks ago now. The prices are great, but organization and customer service have been poor. Its not worth the difference in price.

I love this place. Ive been visiting here for probably about 4 years now, and every time I visit, I get to just relax and enjoy myself. I recently purchased a 9mm, and I am pretty stoked! All of the staff is great, but James is the greatest and has the best customer service. The atmosphere is really home-like, and I also like that they have a small staff. I didnt get to see him on my recent visit, but please tell Kent I hope he gets to feeling better!

My husband and I happened upon this place by total accident and ended up purchasing a beautiful used walther pk380 with case and extra clips no additional charge, they let me test every gun Ive considered for purchase free of charge too! The men who work here are all very knowledgable about guns and accessories every time weve come back for whatever we needed either in store or special order. I like that they have both guns for rent to practice and also allow you to test shoot guns, and do trade-ins. Having tiny hands makes it difficult to find a weapon I can handle strength wise but I love my walther and very happy with it! Would super recommend this shop, it is small and wont have a huge selection like bigger shops but the standard of quality is for sure what you get here!

Purchased a great pistol from AAT and before I even got my hands on it they personally inspected every inch of it. Showed me how to properly clean it and informed me of all features.Shot almost a full box of ammo that day, it was a so fun.All the people there are friendly, great customer service, happy to be there, have some very nice armament and ammo for sale.Need a Concealed Carry Class, give them a call.Are you a lady shooter? They have a ladies night! Ive talked to several men whose wife is afraid of handguns. The ladies that volunteer that night, will place them at ease instructing on shooting profile, confidence, and gun safety.

I will NEVER go here again and if you have any respect for service men or women do not give them your business, because they do not deserve your money or respect. a few months ago I had heard that this was a very good gun range and was very excited to shoot off a few rounds. I pulled up to the front of the store and put up my handicap placard and got out of my car. Then out of the store came the owner and a couple of employees and the owner very rudely said You dont look handicapped, so you need to move your car to the other side of the parking lot. this is for handicapped only! i pointed out the placard very politely and he said to prove that i was handicapped or he would call the police. So on the verge of tears i raised up my pant leg and showed that i had lost my leg in Afghanistan. He then went on to rudely state that if i would have shown them that in the first place i would have saved them a lot of time and trouble. He never once apologized for my embarrassment or for making me cry. NEVER give these people your business! I have never been so hurt or embarrassed. I just now was able to get over some of the humiliation to post this review. Please go elsewhere to where they will show everyone respect. Ive never tried to use my disability or service record for special attention, but i couldnt believe that they were so disrespectful towards me and no telling who else!

I had some questions about some of the ammo I bought off the internet and the knowledgeable staff answered everything over the phone. They were super polite and very respectful. Ive also used their range several times. It isnt anything fancy but it is more than adequate. And they provide fantastic customer service.Any beginner should not fear going in here. They will walk you through things and answer questions. Its a great experience overall.

I havent been to your range yet. Got online and was reading reviews and will be coming out to shoot. I think my young adult son and wife need to join me soon, maybe this afternoon. I bought my wife a Sig p238 two years ago and she hasnt fired it yet. Glowing reviews overall has won me over.

I have been very impressed with the friendly atmosphere and attitude of the folks at American Tactical & Amory unlike other ranges that I have been to. Not only is the attitudes great, but the knowledge that everyone has is impeccable and are very willing to share. Prices are very reasonable and the range is very nice with heat, A/C and motorized lanes. I have bought several products from them also and everyone was very helpful in answering questions and giving advice on the purchases I was making. Prices are very reasonable, As a final word I would and have recommended that anyone wanting to purchase products, use a range, get advice, or hangout to go to American Armory & Tactical and see for your self.

Very impressed with this place and its staff. I dont remember every name but James, Ron and David were great. Very helpful and polite. A vast difference from the other range I visited. This place is clean and organized. I will be back and will do my buying and training from here.

This place has that family owned type of feel to it and that is what has me coming back. The firearm selection is decent for a smaller shop. The guys there are super nice and respectful. The range is clean and well kept. I am grateful to have found a small shop/range like this. I tried SGT Everetts in the past, the range at American Armory is worlds better.

Came by with my fiancé who has never handled a firearm and there was female employee (I’m blanking on her name —I apologize) who was very experienced and made my fiancé feel a lot more comfortable in the environment. Everyone here was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable, overall a terrific experience. I plan on stopping by a few more times this week!

A couple months ago I took my wife here to get comfortable with guns. James helped make sure my wife learned the gun and walked her through loading, unloading and each action of the gun. She had a lot of questions and asked James multiple times to walk her through it so she would get comfortable. James never hesitated to walk her through it and you could tell he took pride in what him and this business stand for. They want everyone to feel welcome there and my wife and I have returned time and time again and never once have they made her or myself feel unwelcome or annoyed with our questions. We will only buy our guns from here because of the extraordinary patience and pride James showed on our first time.

Took their concealed carry class, awesome experience. Very laid back environment, instructors are very very knowledgeable and encourage questions. Range is smaller but it goes by fast. First time shooters are encouraged and the instructors give very good hands on training.

Just went here for the 5th time and bought my first handgun(previous times I rented handguns to test out). I cant overstate how good the customer service is here, they spent plenty of time teaching me every aspect of the gun and answered any questions I had. They treat you like family and that is rare these days, and if that doesnt interest you the S&W I bought was the cheapest any retailer in the greater metro area had(I thoroughly checked all major and local shops). I will not be going anywhere else for my firearm needs.

I walked in to ask for prices about having them build me a AR and they didnt seem interested at all. He just sat there and told me basic info I already knew...and there was Four of them were just sitting there at the table. Neither of them showed any interest in having business with me. Wont be going here again.

These folks are great! They know their stuff and wont put pressure on you to make a sale. Plus, their prices are competitive! I got a high quality handgun for almost $75 less than Big Box Outdoor stores.

It was awesome. Just took my son to shoot his new gun for his 7th birthday, the price was great and the staff was respectful and friendly. Me and the boy are planning to make it a weekend tradition. The booths were clean and all the spent brass from other patrons had already been cleaned, not scattered all over the place like other ranges Ive been to.

We just found this place . Absolutley loved it. Guys are friendly, close to our home, extremely reasonable. Wife and i were impressed enough we bought our next firearm from them. I cannot adequately express my satisfaction with the superior service I have received at American Armory & Tactical (AAT). They were very welcoming from the moment I first arrived and incredibly patient with me as I asked about and handled various guns, like the novice I am. I performed a substantial amount of research prior to my visit to AAT and was pleasantly surprised by the market-beating prices they have there. Throughout my experience I was given very relevant and useful tips and suggestions but never once did I feel pressured to purchase a certain type or brand of gun. Upon the completion of my purchase I was given a coupon for a free range lane rental (their normal fees are still very reasonable) and I was allowed to use the range free of charge that day (including eyes, ears, and target). The range is well-lit, air conditioned, and clean with adequate work space - everything you need. During my shooting session, the staff noticed certain aspects of my technique that needed improvement and gave me a free impromptu shooting lesson after which I shot better than ever before. I would recommend American Armory & Tactical to absolutely everyone interested in firearms, firearm safety, shooting, accessories, and the like.

Had lot of fun staff seemed knowledgeable and were very nice unfortuantely we dont remember the guys name that helped us but he was very nice and we found the pricing very agreeable, were from Missouri and have been to target time there last year and this place(american armory and tacticle) was way cheaper, we hope to come back soon.

Out of all the gun ranges Ive been to in Oklahoma, AAT takes the cake for the best range -- the owner was incredibly patient with me and my friend who was shooting for the first time, and when my gun malfunctioned, they took me to the backroom and fixed the issue for me, taught me how to fix it myself, and even cleaned it up. The customer service here is second to none, and the range itself is great. Will be back for sure!Edit in Nov 2018: AAT is still — HANDS DOWN — the best range + gun shop in Oklahoma. Took my official CCW class here today and picked up my first Glock as well. Prices are great, customer service is **phenomenal**, and the all-around education (esp in regards to CCW) is fantastic. Although AAT is about 45 minutes away from my house since my last review, Ill still happily drive all the way to Norman for range time. Great group of guys, esp James!

Dangerous!Went there to shoot as it was close to me. They let in someone to shoot 5.56 frangible but the shooter switched to FMJ which sprayed shrapnel over three other shooters, hit a deputy and me in the hands and the 3rd guy in the arm. Me and the deputy were bleeding and had to wash the blood off and it took 2 months for the bullet piece to come to the surface in my hand to remove.When leaving and paying for my lane I said it had stop bleeding everything was cool. Then the old man employee (senile?) by the junk guns on the south side of the store said i wasnt hurt until it hit me between the eyes which I said are you talking accident or murder which he said that he was going to more or less attack me which the big guy stop him and shut him up.Earlier when 3rd guy was asking to shoot and the lanes were full, he decided just to watch until some lanes opened up to what the old man said what? you dont believe me to what the 3rd guys said I was just watching everyone.Went here to shoot as I use to go there every week all through late 80s thru 90s when owned by someone else, it was named Shooters Rondevu which went out of business. Looks exactly as the same range as before, just a different name and people.

Apr 27th 2013 was my first time there. I walked in and there were about 10 people sitting around their coffee area talking about various things. I thought that was pretty neat. I then got set up on the range (which is air conditioned and has motorized lanes). I was there to sight in my new 22 rifle. After having problems i stepped out and ask if i could borrow a tool. I guess i was actually talking to their gun smith because the next thing i knew, he was helping me run down the problem. We made some adjustments and tried them out. It was better but still needed improvement. So looking it over again, we decided that i needed new scope rings. They were sold out of the kind i needed so he referred me to Wal MArt and Academy. I went out, got the new rings and came back. They did NOT charge me another range fee. And again the gun smith was very helpful with me. After installing the new rings and following his directions, it worked great! Will be back again!
