I had my hopes set too high coming from the East Coast. Got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and the egg is just a microwaved fake egg. Definitely not like from what Im used to where they cook the egg and bacon on the griddle when you order. The bagel was okay. I ordered it toasted, but it felt like is was more microwaved. Thankful that there at least is a bagel place around though and its like the only place to get a bagel! Also, everyone who worked was very nice and efficient!

Honestly my dream sandwich shop! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area! They have so many different bagels to choose from and tons of sandwiches options. Would come here again!

A staple before Sunday morning grocery shopping. The service is usually quick, even if it is ridiculously busy which tends to happen, particularly on the mornings of the weekends.It would be nice, however, to have more breakfast drinks, instead of soda, coffee, or tea. They have a fridge with processed juice, but a more healthy option would never be a bad thing.Definitely worth a visit if you have never been.

This place was Horrible!! I got an Everything Bagel with Ham, Sausage, Bacon, Egg and Cheese. It was so salty that I could barely eat it and the meat had me feeling like I was going to Puke, All Day!! I will NEVER go back🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

A New York style bagel loaded with cream cheese and a mocha on a Saturday morning... this place delivers! The staff is super friendly and keeps the line moving quickly. I come here all the time and the Boston salad is another fave. Delish!

Went in to get a bagel and one of the employees had no mask on and was chewing tobacco or something with his mouth open. Watched him make bagels. Absolutely disgusting, yall.

I bought a small selection of Old School bagels and they were excellent. Quite crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I also purchased lox and cream cheese, that was fresh and filled with big pieces of smoked salmon.

Very good bakery and bagels. I tried bruschetta chicken, it was delicious. The environment is fine.

The bagels are top notched and the cashier is accommodating when the store is not busy. The bacon seems to be cooked the morning of and is nicely crisped. The furniture needs a little updating. The parking is a little challenging but understandable. Must try the breakfast and the smoked salmon bagels!

They have so many options and a friendly laid back atmosphere. I love the garlic and onion bagel and flavored cream cheese!

Hadnt been in a long time but decided to stop by since we were in Norman. We used to love the chocolate chip bagels, but were disappointed with our recent order. Visually you could see what appeared to be chocolate chips, but only once did I taste a slight chocolate flavor. If I had been blind folded I would have no idea what type of bagel I was eating. Hopefully this was a fluke and not the way they make them now.

One of my norman favorites. We always stop here on our once per year trip through. Its unique and locally owned. I recommend the old smokey hot.

I was broken hearted when we ordered from here this morning. The bagels where as plain in taste as they come, Hard to chew infact I couldnt finish mine because my jaw hurt. Would have helped if the bagel was smashed down or had a normal amount of mayo for the blt.

Best bagels on town. I highly recommend Old School Bagel Cafe. There cream cheese and lox is absolutely fantastic. There $8.00 day old bagel bags are wonderful to take home. If your in the area, make it a point to stop in and enjoy their food and hospitality.

I used to go in here twice a month for breakfast with my partner before the incident.A small mistake snowballed: the girl at the counter mistakenly rang up my sandwich on a plain bagel. No big deal, I just asked for it on cheese so I asked for it to be fixed. Fixing it meant scraping the toppings into a new bagel after nuking them to horrific levels of chewy inedibleness in the microwave, and then throwing it on the table blaming the girl at the register for ringing it up wrong. The meat literally cut my mouth, so I asked for help.The manager on shift, who Ive since learned was the owner, practically threw a fit in my face. He threw the food away in a dramatic huff and I got a fresh sandwich a little bit later with approximately a third of the normal amount of food. Fine. Okay.I ask for the cream cheese I ordered and paid for (which I explained I had already put on the last sandwich) and he looks at me and tells me I already have it, as if Im intentionally antagonizing him and not just trying to get the food I ordered the first time. I explain again and, before Im even done with my sentence he turns around in a huff basically yelling Jesus!So, naturally, my face falls. This entire time, despite being treated like dung, I kept trying to smile and be as good-natured as possible (I know mistakes happen, that doesnt bother me! I always do my best to not be the immediately angry person). Seeing this, he tries to make it a joke. Youre killin me! he adds with a forced smile as he slams a cup of cream cheese on the counter, just out of my reach.That honestly did it for me. I go back to my table, shaking. I bring back the cup Id used on the messed up sandwich, put it on their counter (hands shaking so badly I cant honestly tell you if it ended upright) and ask for a bag to go from the woman standing there.This is where it gets even better. This woman STARTED by apologizing, which was the first time Id heard that in the whole debacle. Good deal, Im so angry Im in tears, thats helpful...until she tells us my partner and I cant take it personally....Really?Im seeing red, so he explains to her thats the only way to take it. In the entire time, we got no apology, were treated like dung, and accused of theft when the mistake hadnt even been ours. How else should we have taken it?I attempted to contact the company, assuming the guy was just a manager and wanting to seek resolution without airing this publicly but, as it turns out, hes the owner. As such, public it is.I know losing about $50/month isnt big, but they arent getting my money ever again.Pictures are of the replacement sandwich (yes, I realize I shouldve taken one of my partners for comparison).

BEST BAGELS IN NORMN!I go here all the time. It is always good but I get the same things all the time. I love their everything bagels with veggie cream cheese or their veggie sandwiches. They’re so good, they hit the spot. Their bacon chive and onion cream cheese also deserves an honorable mention.Be warned: this place can get super busy during the morning and lunch rush. Because of this I usually just call in my order on my way their and pick it up to avoid the line.The inside is laid back and comfortable. I like to eat in when I can. The staff has always been really friendly and accommodating. I have been going here for 5 years now.

Placed and picked up an UberEats order here. Long line but steadily moved. Everyone was urgent and friendly. When they realized the didnt ring something on the order up it was promptly fixed without charge. Highly recommend.

I used to love this place but its all gone downhill. Slow service and employees are very rude. Even when they are not busy you will wait 20 minutes for your food. Not to mention they are always out of most of the bagles regardless of what time you go. I also am not sure when the last time they cleaned anything was.

The food is pretty good for things that are not freshly cooked and are just heated/toasted and put together. Customer service is good. Big bonus for having pebble ice and Fountain Cherry Coke which is difficult to find.

They did not have my favor blueberry and said they can have it done in 15 minutes. I waited and took them home very exited as I was hungry for them. What a disappointment, paid extra for this PREMIUM bagel and it was just bad. NO taste of any sort, not even salt, no blueberry to be found but just food coloring or something to make it look blue. Thick under developed dough with no texture or taste. I had not visited in a while, but save your money and get a frozen bagel and you will not be disappointed. Paid nine dollars for six and put five in the garbage.

Food was good. Coffee was good. Prices are reasonable. Was really busy while we were there. Staff did a great job getting orders out as fast they could. Nobody cleaned tables though. So you had to either clean it yourself, or be reminded of how the people before you enjoyed their food. A simple take-a-number system will make it much easier for staff to get orders to customers. The high user traffic really puts the old in Old School. The cafe can do with a remodel. The first booth I tried had a loose back, and tables and chairs are worn.

So I am probably one of the pickiest people that comes to my bagels. I come from NY where bagels mean business. I have to say this is the only bagel shop I have been to that has gotten anywhere close to what I am used to. If you dont like these bagels, you are just not into bagels.

This place is dirty. My shoes stick to the floor. There is hole in the ceiling. I cant imagine the food is very clean, given how dirty the rest of the restaurant appears to be.

This place is my favorite only part thats bad is they close at 2 so I cant make it there as much as I would like.

Visited this location on August 14, 2018 at about 730am. I paid for my order with my debit card, and after charging my card the cashier gave me my receipt to sign. The receipt was the type that has an area to add a tip and then a total amount to charge. I completed these areas and signed the receipt. I then decided I wanted to add another drink to my order. We went through the same process of charging my debit card. However, his time when my receipt printed the cashier quickly took the receipt from the printer and wadded it up. He said to me youre good and handed me my cup. I asked him if the receipt that printed had a place to add a tip on it, and then had to ask him again to let me sign the receipt. His actions of quickly taking the receipt and trying to hurry me away really made me suspicious that he planned to use the unsigned receipt to falsify an added tip. Will not be doing business at this location again.

The food is good but this place is getting more and more disappointing in my opinion. The employees don’t seem to be able to handle the stress of working there because it gets very busy and backed up. One of the female employees was very rude to me once and made me wait 10 mins for my food that was bagged up and ready behind her the entire time. And now, I see they don’t even deliver through DoorDash anymore. Disappointed.

Consistently great food, generous servings and toppings on bagels, and a small selection of fun bottled sodas. One of my favorite brunch spots.

Bagels are great, coffee is good, cookies are amazing! Service was good, they messed up on the bagel I ordered; I ordered chicken salad and they brought out Italian, but they were quick to remedy the mistake. Will definitely come back.

Delicious food! Although I havent tried too many different sandwiches, the menu does have a nice variety of sandwich and bagel options. I know the menu is slightly different according to location; I used to work at the 23rd and Walker location, and theres a sandwich there called the El Fuego (its pretty hot and spicy), and if the Norman location had it, I think I would order it every time because I love spicy food. The service is fast and done with a smile every time I go, and again, the food is delicious, so no complaints from me!

The pepperjack breakfast sandwich is super tasty. The bagels are nice and chewy. They also have good peach green tea.

The bagels and sandwiches are very delicious. The employees, on the other hand, need to learn the concept of work. They also need to a bit less rude. The tables were not clean. The seats at the booths were not clean. The drink area was gross. The service was crazy slow considering how few people were in the restaurant.I’ve been getting bagels here since this location opened. It was top notch for the first couple of years. For the last four or five years, it has gone downhill.

I have been a patron on this place since they opened and will no longer be going back. Every time I go to pick up lunch or anything they always seem to be closed or about to close and say that they can not make a sandwich because they are closing. I’m not sure how they expect for their customers to come in to their business during business hours if they continue to change their hours of operation. It is not worth my time to drive over to this place of business if they are going to be closed every time I try to purchase something from them. Not everyone gets to each lunch during the “normal” lunch hour. Needless to say it appears that they are poorly managed and have very little concern for their customers and the time spent by their customers to try to support their business. If you go to this assablishment I hope the you have a better experience than I have had. I do not recommend you waste your time going to this place because more than likely when you show up they will not be there or will not be interested in helping you. Thank you.

I stopped by yesterday to purchase a gift card. Nice young man at the counter, but they had no gift cards. What? It is Christmas! Sounds like poor ownership - is this really the way to run a business?

It is interesting to me that a small city like Norman has this level of variety. Bagel Cafe is part of it. Its a great restaurant with great bagels.

We love this place! During the week it is VERY busy for lunch given its close proximity to the high school. However, the bagels are delicious. Whether a breakfast Bagel or sandwich, the food is always fresh. The Cowboy Club is one of my favorites.

I love their blueberry bagel. But all of them are great!

OSB is always great. Except this location. SO SLOW! Which could be understandable if someone would have answered the phone the two times I called in advance to place my order. No one did. And so it took 30 minutes to get a sandwich.

I wish I could give zero star to this place! I loved this place few years back but not it is getting awful every time I visit. Waited for 20 min to get my sandwich ready and then went to check back on it, guess what? We are out of bagel and store manager said you should have checked earlier on your order! “ excuse me” !No wonder people line up in front of Panera or Chick fil A for breakfast. Because of poor service on such local places. Think twice before eating at this place! I suggest they also change all the torn up furniture to make this place a little better!

The Meat Lovers Bagel is super good especially with the salty bagel.

One of our favorite bakeries bc they boil their bagels, as bagels should be. The staff is always friendly, the bread fresh, and the bakery/pasteries sweet. Its a smaller location of the two on Tulsa and parking can be an issue, especially on the weekends.

I love their ham, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel. Theres usually a line, but it goes quickly. Their cookies are also really good.

I love this place. But sadly, the other morning I was in around 6:30 am to relax and enjoy my favorite bagel before work and the music was playing so loudly, I could barely think. There were only 3 other people there, all of them by themselves, so there was no conversation, just loud music playing. Totally ruined the experience.

The service was good, however, the food was not. And the fountain drinks everyone tasted like dirty water or something funky like that.

Food isnt bad. Service always seems slow, even during non busy times. It always seems like I have to wait a long time even when just getting a dozen to go.

Although my order was done quickly, the staff werent very helpful and seemed distracted. The setup was also slightly off putting as there was essentially a wall around where you could walk up to place your order

Unfortunately, the service at OSB has deteriorated over the years. My husband and I have been going there for 6 years, we used to love going there, but today was the last straw. The past few times we have been, they have either misplaced our ticket or messed up the order, and usually we dont make it a big deal, thinking it was done intentionally because they are busy. Not so much today, not only was it not busy at all, but my husband and I were the only ones in line when we placed our order and then 2 people came and received their offer before us. We asked the girl who had taken our order where our food was, and had to remind her what we asked for... when we finally received our food it was cold, and wrong. The woman was extremely dismissive and disrespectful to us when we brought this to their attention.

No plain bagels! How can a bagel store run out of plain bagels during normal working hours? They call themselves Old School but seem to only serve fancy begals (plenty of those), like chocolate chip. That is not Old School in my book. I settled on an Honey Oat bagel, but is was old, crusty and poor quality.

They gave me the wrong bagel. I asked for and everygrain and got an everything which is quite salty. Apart from that the place is good.
