I always find what I am looking for at Joanns when it comes to my different needlework hobbies. I have fun spending time just walking up and down the aisles to see what they have!

I love looking at the beautiful fabrics there. Theres sewing supplies, holiday gifts, and things for the home. Really a neat store!!

I had never been to one of these, but they had far more than Id anticipated, specially crafted stacking wooden crates, and multicolor milk crates. Prices were slightly better than Hobby Lobby, and that was a huge plus. Likely coming back soon more art supplies.

I ordered yarn on the website and went to pick it up at the Rockwell store in OKC. I hadnt noticed a mistake in the lot numbers (color shade) of the yarn until I got home. When I called about the error and to see if someone could check to see if the proper lot number was available, I was told, rather rudely, that I would have to come in the check myself.I called the Norman store and told them my dilemma. Dina asked my name and the lot numbers, put me on hold and returned to tell me they had the correct items and that I can make an exchange. When I entered the store with my bag of yarn, Dina greeted me by name and made the exchange.The Rockwell store is closer to my home, but I will shop the Norman store because of their associates.

I needed 10 yds of RIP stop nylon colored pink. Charles efficiently utilized the stores computer to check product inventory at other locations. He ended up securing the material. Transaction successful.

This joanns is the only one I will go to. Their service and attitudes are all outstanding and helpful. They are all very knowledgeable of anything sewing.

Love love this place. But it has so much more then just fabric.

You know whats sad? When an employee is extremely rude to a customer. You know the reason why they have a job in the first place. If it wasnt for customers, employees wouldnt have a job. Joan, you and the male employees you had to call to the front about some remnant fabric, that had the price on it, that you wouldnt sell to a wonderful woman named Maria. (You have her name because the male employee you called to help you wrote it down). The two of you where EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful, and hateful for no reason. If you dont like your job, maybe you should find something more suitable for you. It doesnt take much to smile and have a pleasant attitude. I was always taught to leave my attitude at home, because it was my job to help the customers.

Its a great place if you need some basic fabric or craft supplies. I feel like they cater to quilters. I didnt see much in the way of dressmaking fabrics or home decor. You can never get anyone to check you out.

Bright and open floor plan. If your creative and and a flair for fashion this is your hot spot. Im completely FLOORED about the large selection of fabrics. They have everything devialishous to country kitchen and everything in between. I just love it. Il take photos next time to post.

Wonderful place. Theres always some kind of sale or coupon going on here that you can take advantage of. Friendly staff, even offered me a Kleenex once, and extremely helpful when you need the help. A great place to go for your crafting needs!

Getting a little more disappointed in Joanne it is more craft and kits than fabric now. Having a really hard time finding some of the material I like and I prefer to use.

Found some nice fabric for my kitchen chairs. The place seems to be a bit messy and could use some organizing. Heres the fabric we used on our kitchen chair. Before and after pic.

Staff tried to help. Were more interested in someone elses project and helping them. Wouldnt get yarn from high shelf. Yarn was very picked over. Was told they would be getting 2 shipments before end of yarn sell. What I was looking for wasnt being ordered.

Nice store, fun to shop around and get great craftu stuff. Sadly its the only fabric store left in Norman.

If you want to actually purchase anything, youll need to walk around and try to find someone to go up to the register for you. If you stand at the register for minutes upon minutes nobody will notice. Twice I have walked out without making a purchase because I couldnt find anyone around the register.

Out of a lot of their stock, but I went on tax-free weekend. Usually there is a good selection of products.

Needed a special fabric for a customer. Showed employee what I needed and she took me directly to the isle with the fabric. Then cut the length I needed and then walked me to checkout. Great customer service.

Had such a lovely experience! Jane was so helpful and wonderful. Its far from where I live but when I need fabric again, I will certainly come back!!!! I also was in the flannel section for about a year looking for the colors I needed and I appreciated that it wasnt seen as odd. Jane also provided really helpful advice on quilting while cutting my fabrics and that was great. Not to mention the sale and coupons saved me more money than what I spent!

My mother-in-laws favorite place! She loves all things to do with sewing, in particular she loves to buy different sewing patterns, and loves the variety Joann offers. Theres also items for all kinds of crafting activities.

This place has just about every type of fabric you can think of! I was looking for one particular fabric and found several different patterns and colors to choose from. It definitely made my decision more difficult. The staff was friendly and helped me find the area I was looking for and they answered any questions I had. I definitely will be going back!

Lots of fabric and mask were required, felt very safe. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Prices are too high. Everything I wanted to buy was out of stock. Workers standing around chit-chatting. When I asked for help, they barely stopped their conversation to point to the aisle I needed. Not impressed.

They are a good fabric store. I wish they had more choices in the quilting material area, but they are the better ones in the area. They are not as good as Hancock Fabrics were, but again they are better than some others. I get their sales notices and coupons by email which makes prices really good. Just wish that I could get the higher quality material for quilts here. They have a good selection on threads, but again, I think they could have a better selection. But what they have are decent prices.

Great experience with gathering fabric in the store today. Staff were helpful and very friendly. I was in a hurry, but the staff were very quick in helping me get out the door in good time. They pointed out the sales. The site was clean and quiet. There were handicap parking places in the parking lot and handicap accessible bathrooms. Lots of Easter items on sale. Good experience.

This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had! This lady was extremely heavy and acted like there’s no way she could help me! I instantly regret buying anything from here! I can assure you I will do everything in my power to see that I spread the word. They need to audit their customer service immediately!

Extremely helpful and competent staff, loads of fabrics to choose from. If you have their app or receive their emails, then they have fantastic coupons! It is the only place in town I have found, that has 100% cotton batting.

There was plenty of workers in the store but none willing to give me any help at all to include the manager of the store. Its just shameful!

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also will let you know that they will be there to help you as soon as they can when they are with another guest or will call another team member. Their inventory is amazing and always changing.

Did not know you can order online and have it picked up at the store, like many other businesses, but you get an additional 5% off! Who does that? Also the Stafford knowledgeable and can help you out with basic to advance crafting needs. No need to Google

Very kind cashier, I went with my friend to just browse and look at cute stuff, ended up getting snacks. Made a joke about going to a craft store for food and the cashier laughed. Very nice layout and presentation in JOANN.

My grandson was charged twice in the amount of$137.50. He immediately returned to Norman store. This was over 2 weeks ago. He was told the funds would be returned to his account within 3-5 business days. This did NOT happen. He now has received a SECOND email stating the same thing, of which this has STILL NOT HAPPENED. The store has to go through corporate offices in which to correct this but at this point we feel he has been LIED to as of today he has NOT had his funds returned to his bank account. Suggestions other than getting legal involved? His bank is now involved but could still take a week to investigate. He has all documentation, as does the management in Norman. He is a young adult who does not have an extra $137.50 to do without. Advice?

2 things - Their Happy Planner section is extremely small, barely an end cap... And they keep the temperature in that store a little too warm. It felt like upper 70s-low 80s and no air movement. Totally uncomfortable to walk around there

The store itself is really nice and the staff pet friendly and knowledgeable. I give it three stars because of all the fabric options you have online but arent available at any stores, so I had looked online for specific Fabric and went to the store to try to find it there and it wasnt there. Only to find out that it wasnt available at any of the stores around my area and it was sold out online so I was very disappointed. I think the fabric should be available in all the stores everywhere not just online.

Whatever fragrance this store is using it caused me to have a full blown asthma attack. I have nothing bad to say about the store but I won’t be able to shop there if they continue to use that fragrance.

It is great having a fabric store nearby. This store has a good selection of fabric and other supplies for the textile arts. I especially like the selection for embroidery floss

The staff is friendly, they get to know you and help you find what you are looking for. By them getting to know what you like they are better able to assist you with suggestions when they dont have the kinda stuff you are looking for. That helps cause when you go in looking for one kinda fabric but when you tell them what you are making they will suggest a better fabrics that will work better than the kind you might be looking for. They also will let you know when the have a sale on fabric that you might want.

The store is OK, could be a little more organized for my taste

This fabric store is the best possible location in Norman. The staff is eager to assist you to locate the fabric you need for your current project. They stock most anything you could possibly need to create you project, whether it is fabric, beads, buttons or sewing machines they have it all.

This is the best place to get crafts and supplies. Great selection and several classes available. I wish there were more staff to ask questions too.

Hard to find behind the mall.

So much to see and do it was like being at Disney Land. Staff was very kind and helpful

Just a word of advise...pay close attention to their sale papers. Can be misleading if not read correctly. I went assuming the quilter showcase fabric was on sale for $1.99 a yard when I got there it was full price. Thankfully i had a coupon and got it anyways.... anyways the cashier told me that fabric was on a doorbuster sale for just 1 day. So..... i get home and look at my sale paper and read extra close that the sale didnt even start for another week...so just my advise is to pay close attention to the dates of each page in the sale paper. Otherwise great store!!:-)

Great discounts on fabric. Staff is understanding of fabric needs for sewing of clothes and garb.

What materials they have are good, but selection same for every store and dont carry some materials I buy.

4 1/2 stars. Had some difficulty understanding how the threads were organized, but there was help available and service was good. Nice selection.
