Nice place overall. Construction in the area can be a pain at times, but its still worth going by there and taking a look. I always find me a couple of good buys everytime Im in there.

Excellent selection of graphic novels make this a one-stop-shop for your comic book needs. If they dont have something, they might be able to get it for you. The rare collectibles seem to be matching Ebay pricing which is fine for me. Anyway I setup a pull here for the first time since I was a kid before Planet Comics was shut down. I see the owner of the store almost every time I visit which has been significantly less due to the pandemic. Im going to try to make an appearance at least every other Wednesday so I can help this store stay open in these rough times.

This store has a pretty good selection of titles from marvel and d.c., but also independent titles. A good amount of older comic boxes to peruse as well. Lots of graphic novels and a few dvds. They have a Kids section for younger readers too. They have a few funko pops and statues. Call first for current open schedule. Covid-19 has limited the open hours.

Took my son here for his first comic book store experience. It was a great experience for him. The staff answered all his questions and took time to explain different series to him. Spent about an hour, left with there different comics. My son was excited. Thanks for making it fun for him!

Not only is it the best comic book shop in Norman, but it may very well be the best shop in all of Oklahoma. The selection is top notch. They always have the newest books, and an impressive array of back issues, trade paperbacks, and graphic novels. The staff is also amazing. Very knowledgeable, and more than willing to help you find anything.

This amazing local business has been around for 20+ years, serving people with not only kindness and dedication, but also with a top notch knowledge of comics. They will help you find what you want if you know what it is, or they will help you find what you need if youre not quite sure. Best offering of graphic novels and non-fiction graphic works ( Think Persepolis) in Norman. I love Crime, and they frequently order for me and notify me of newly released books in my favorite genre. Pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Smells like books!

*update* I come here every Wednesday now, and this place has become my go-to comicbook shop. I love coming here.. Nostalgia, and current releases in all the variants you could really want. Pretty much perfect. The people that come here are friendly and I find myself having conversations with the other patrons often.Dan that works there, awesome guy. Went in to buy my sons first comic book. Spiderman is his favorite. He recommended the absolute perfect marvel action series appropriate for my sons age. I bought 3 of the first 4 of this series and he is keeping an eye out to let me know if they get another issue #1. Awesome store totally focused on comics. Will be back, and will recommend my friends here.

I like to go places in which my inner Nerd can come out to play. Love places where I may roam in contentment. Speeding Bullet is also a sponsor of our local Chocolate Festival which helps the PTA raise money for our citys schools.

Came by here many years agao and came by to see about several books i needed before the game. Sure enough they had the books i needed and plus more. Has a great setup and selection of books old and new. Will come by again when i come to another game.

Love the staff here. I can always ask for recommendations and go home with a great book. They even hold my pulls when I forget to go in and pick them up for a bit. This is my favorite comic book shop in Oklahoma

I went in expecting to find the right deals or good stock on various comics since it was Halloween ComicFest 2019 weekend. It ended up being business as usual, though.The backstock of comics that I found was priced according to eBay, which was kind of disappointing. The other stores in the metro area I went to over the weekend were still marked up way higher than need to be and were in worse condition. Youd think a local shop would want to sell to the local customer more than they want to compete with eBay.They do have a large stock of recent back issues, their tabbing system is a little flawed meaning an item youd think would have a tab are just lumped in with Misc J (just my personal opinion), and their comic merchandise (toys, statues, etc.) they have for sale is pretty good.I dont make it into Norman very often, but this is a store I wont be visiting again.

The owner Dan is great and knowledgeable and is willing to help sort through back stock to find something or order it if he doesnt have it. He is also just a very nice person who always remembers you.

This place is fantastic. When my husband and I go we browse for quite a while. Its one of our favorite places to go together.

This was my first visit and I love Speeding Bullet Comics. I was browsing just looking to see what the store stocked. The manager asked if I needed help then proceeded to show me how the store was arranged for ease of browsing. Keep in mind, this is not a large shop, however I was super impressed by the variety of popular and lesser known titles they offer. I ended up purchasing titles that I needed in my collection that I had not been able to find since the tragic loss of Hastings! (RIP) I spoke with the manager about all things comics and was able to geek out with him! Yay. If you have not visited this shop, take the time to pop in. Try it youll like it! -A-

Out of all the comic stores Ive checked out in OKC this one has the best selection of trade paperbacks and hardcover specials. My favorite find though had to be their discover a new comic for a $1 or something like that. I picked up a couple #1s for a dollar to try out. They have a nice collection of used comics and a sizeable collection of new releases. They also stock action figures and posters. Staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Great store.
