During my visit to Minick Materials, Macy shared a creative idea of painting river flats. This led to me to purchase pretty river flats to paint for members of my family for Christmas gifts. I am thankful for her cleverness, friendliness, the fun tour, and the cool information she shared about how they obtained their products. I cant wait to visit Minick Materials again. Thanks Macy!

I received great service at Minick Materials. My wife and I were looking for some decorative rock and were encouraged to walk the property and see what types of rock were available, after we had seen what we thought we wanted in the sample area inside the bldg. The young lady at the desk provided a quote based on my measurements. The rock I wanted was sold out so I was placed on a call list to be contacted when the large refill arrived at Minick. As promised, I was called when rock became available - without me having to call them back or chase them down - which I was expecting to do. The day before my order was to be delivered, in prepping the landscaping area for the rock, I determined that I needed to reduce my order. I called Minick and there was not a problem changing the order since it had not been loaded. Steve immediately made the change and quoted me an adjusted price. The rock arrived at my house the morning it was promised. The delivery driver was courteous and dumped it on my driveway exactly where I requested. The entire experience with Minick was favorable. This is how a company should operate to provide good customer service.

Let me just tell y’all about Teagan, this girl knew it ALL! I’m completely new to ordering gravel, how much, where to put it, how long is it going to take to deliver gravel! My questions were everywhere and she had an answer for everyone of them! Never had to repeat myself! Never once got frustrated with myself or the service. It was such a relief to be able to get this new project of ours done in less then two days! Went from knowing nothing to exactly what’ll happen next time! She gave me the date time and price before getting off the phone. She made sure I was completely happy with my decision and even went back and adjusted what I wanted done at the last minute!! Now the delivery driver, he called 15 minutes before he pulled in, called as soon as he hit the drive way, and even helped us place the gravel where we needed it! Had a smile on his face the whole time! It was a wonderful experience that I will definitely be having again! Everything went perfect from the beginning to the end! Love the service, smiles and positive attitudes!!!

Great customer service! The staff works hard to assist you in getting the right material fast. Ive purchased several truck beds of both Cyprus mulch and soil compost, and Ive been very satisfied with both. They sale items in bulk either by the cubic foot or ton measurements; so, bring your truck or trailer!

Good prices on any kind of rock and stone. Just finished my project and may I say it looks great. Mulch, Soil, Stone, Boulders and Rock all from one source. Delivery was also a breeze.

Fast, knowledgeable, and timely. The sales person took my order over the phone, promptly emailed me my receipt, and the deliver guy called me exactly at the time I was told. I will definitely be going back.

After spending over $1100 there last week I showed up today with my 10 year old son excited for him to help pick out some boulders for our ongoing project.....went inside and got my slip to show the helper and then we proceeded to stand out in the hot sun for 20 minutes watching those who came after us get helped and loaded up.....finally gave up and left!!! All I got was a “sorry we must have missed you”......

Went in to get some help with pricing and how much material I need. They told me that prices were changing and they would price it for me and show me if I was buying today. Didn’t get the help I needed.

Purchased 12 yds of compost topsoil mix + delivery $$$. Full of large clay clods. My brother (an engineer) calculated volume of the cone (the pile as delivered) and I’m SHORT by at least half!!! Seriously disappointed. Will go elsewhere in future.

The worst garden ready and gold soil I’ve ever bought in my 12 years of gardening buying from places. Just received it last week. Added it to my raised beds. As soon as it rained, the soil cracks is very sticky like clay. So much for drainage. For how much it costs, I will never buy from this business again.

Great selection of Flagstone and associated materials. Yard hand Dalton was great help and made sure I did very little work even though I didnt mind. I use Minick in Norman for most of my landscaping needs!

We are currently in the process of ordering 5 tons of rock from minick. The service has been great so far at the front counter with Jamie and I am reviewing before delivery to save 5%.I will update the 3 star rating accordingly when delivery is made, depending on being within the scheduled time frame, helpfulness of delivery driver and quality of product.Edit: Delivery was quick, on time and well done. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful, and the rocks we ordered are exactly what we wanted. Weve already been back to buy stones out of the open pallet area for a walkway, and plan to be long time customers. Great service, good prices and friendly staff!

I bought a load of soil from Minick Materials Norman, based on the quote given and also paid at the time of placing the order. The order was supposed to be delivered 3/7/19 between 9 and 11am. At 10 am I get a call, saying that she made an error in quoting the order, and if I want the load I have to pay additional $140 and shes sorry, but theres nothing she can do. This is poor customer service and I dont recommend using this location. Once the deal is done and paid for, this company should eat the loss, rather than expecting customers to pay for their mistakes.

Very quick in-and-out service unless you get inconsiderate customers in their cute little hats and theyre pretty little OU Sooner shorts want to ask the men loading vehicles silly questions about stone and rock. Then it might take a few minutes to get out of the loading area.
