Michael’s is always on top with the crafts! They always have what you need! At my daughters birthday 🥳 we forgot to get t shirts for tie dye and my Michael’s had many shirts to grab and the line was so short we were early to the party 🎉.

Never really has what Im looking for. Store is big but always missing what I need. I needed jewelry beads fancy but they had a small selection and not filled.

They always have what I need, there are coupons and the like as well to help with the price. Staff is nice as well so its pretty good

Had a great experience at this location all the time. Actually one of my favorite locations. I got just about all I need for my women day appreciation. This store is need & clean nobody just standing around every body working Jailene was wonderful love the sale & selection.

The staff at this location have always been kind and ready to help. The store is clean and the clearance sections often have some great finds!

My go to for nearby craft items. I go enough but yet can never figure out the layout. Cashiers are friendly, well organized, and always cool about pulling out those coupons even after theyve rung you up.

I enjoy going there for craft and baking items. Also, to see the displays of what is new.

This store has a vast arrangement of crafting products for those of us who use machines like a cricut, or a silhouette. Definitely a good place to go for inspiration.

Ive gone into this store at least 3 times in past 12 years of living in this area. And each time I go I regret it. The staff is very rude there is No one ever willing to help you with any assistance. This last time I went I asked an associate to help with the pricing to an item and she told me that there are price scanners on either side of the store and reluctantly helped me. I understand we are only human and we are all entitled to having a bad day But thier whole staff is just rude. I will never go back again. Hobby Lobby across the street has a much friendlier staff and its a clean organized place with great pricing.

Very nice store great help in finding things

I stopped at Michaels a week ago and I was not able to find some to help me look at price for a picture frame. There were 10 people on the floor and all told me to go to the price machine located at the front of the store. Since they cant help customer I decided to go Target where I found the picture frames cheaper and employees where more helpful.

I agree, customer service is subpar here. Every time I come here and need assistance it really depends on whos working that day.The girl at the checkout yesterday was either not a people person or nervous, something along those lines. I dont recommend her being at the register anymoreAlso one of the younger girl working on the floor was throwing things in her cart and just seemed mad about something and didnt ask anyone if they needed help, thats not good customer service at all!The emails they send out get you in the door but once you get to the check out, its a whole another story.On the 50% a single item coupon, it can not be used if the item is a buy 1 get 1 50% off itemPersonally, I think thats ridiculous youre still buying an item at full price, what does it matter?!So I wasnt happy about that but I get it, lets face it everything has a catch these days.And it seems when you do need help it can be hard to find anyone, its almost like they need more people on the floor. Come on your a craft store, get it together! Its not like youre a clothing store, its not that difficult. And I would know Ive worked in retail before.This is my least favorite location but its closest to home. Urg

I was basically looking for small laser cut wood . But no luck. Only large flat pieces .

I rushed to the store because it was showing open until 9pm, but lady closed doors at 8:40pm!

The store has innumerable arts and crafts options. Amidst so many options, everything is neat and tidy, even mark downs are in their proper place. Items are in stock, associates were present and willing to offer assistance.Ill be back.

Staff was friendly and understanding of everyone having to wait for entry and curbside pickup. Everyone was doing their best!

Does not have a good selection for hobbyist. Your better off going to a well stocked hobby shop like Des Plaines Hobbies.

I stop by to get some things for Christmas. My niece is an employee at Michaels and they refuse to let me use her employee discount. The manager Michele didn’t allow me to use it. When I have used it before. Never coming back at this store

I came here to get something professionally framed-they did a beautiful job! Stayed after and found all kinds of fun DIY craft projects which we used for Halloween decorations! This store has everything you could imagine for every holiday or just for something fun to do. They even have a party room which looks like they host kids b-day parties. I highly recommend!

We were not able to find what we were looking for. Store was a little unorganized. Seemed like there were only 2 employees working at the time who were extremely overwhelmed at the cash registers. Disappointing.

It’s a truly amazing place to find art supplies or craft supplies.

Im not into arts and crafts but, this place got some great stuff. I come here when I need Command Strips or Velcro for home projects. I used to print in my teen years and seeing the blank canvases, brushes and paint there, waiting, I might start doing an old hobby soon.

Very stocked. 0 fabric unless youre looking for tshirts they have all colors.

Love this pace for beads especially when they have their sales. The customer service is awesome. They offer you coupons from their own phone or sales add to provide the customer with the best possible experience. Although it seems as though theyre moving away from having a lot of bead options.

Love Michaels!! Especially during the holidays! I always go here to buy decorations. Some of their stuff is over priced but you can get a good deal when they have good sales on the decorations. I bought a beautiful wreath for $20 today, even though its not real its so nice.

I ALWAYS love this place! Not enough time in a day to look at everything. Its like an amusement park for crafters! I grabbed two $4 grab bags and got almost $80 in big thick yarn. Time to start knitting again!

I come here since its close to home and convenient. I like that the staff is attentive and very helpful. Most of the store is organized too. So far its the only Michaels Ive been to, so I cant compare it to the other stores. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this store always plenty to look at and ideas to be found here. Plenty of stock and great prices for most items. I love that they cater to both children and adults with there projects. If your into crafts or doing creative things this is the place for you. Plenty of rainy day kits to do with kids of all ages from very young toddlers to adults. They also have seasonal items to make or to decorate with.

Rude staff and high prices

Very friendly and approachable staff. Staff is willing to help in what the customer needs. If they dont have they answer they would make suggestions as to where the customer can find the item. Everything is nicely organized. Its wonderland for all crafters.

I had the worst experience ever! I went to the Michaels in Norridge to buy decorations for my daughters prom send-off. I couldnt find what I needed I then asked the clerk where I could find the supplies I was looking for. She was very rude!! I felt like I was being ignored and ostracized because of my race. This has occurred at this location to me more than once. I will never return to this location againIts sad and unfortunate in this day and age. Never again!

A lot of Christmas decorations and crafts but very low on Red heart yarn no selection of colors or what I needed😒

Its a good location to buy cake decor and outdoor decor. Im a well known for crafting or making things for decorations as for holidays and birthdays but I would have to give 3 stars. So far the times I have gone hard to find someone to help me and stock has been really low lately. Hopefully that changes soon.
