I’m not Italian but really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and the food was great. However the best experience was watching my coffee being made and of course drinking it. For each cup the coffee is individually ground and cooked with a old school coffee machine. Excellent!

We lost hope in finding good coffee until we found Caffe Pronto and the amazing barista Claudia! OMG, this will now be on the destination list every time we visit Chicago.

Nice little place to have authentic Italian coffee.Very tasty hot warm sandwiches for lunch.I would recommend coming here.Only downside is that regulars don’t follow CDC guidelines (people don’t wear mask upon entering the establishment nor keep social distancing)

I have been going to pronto cafe since it opened.. your one stop shop for greetings, service, food made so good .. that will make you come back for more.... entertainment everyday.. also the events they have like live bands and DJ .. even Santa comes to energize his rain deer with Italian coffee .. stop by and laugh with me.

If you haven’t been...go. This place is hands down one of THE best. If you’re Italian, you’ll love it more than most. It feels like being at the great grandparents house...awesome people, delicious eggplant parm sandwich, cappuccino and yummy desserts. It’s a great place to hang out and enjoy your afternoon. It’s definitely my favorite place to wait for my loved ones that are flying into O’hare or just grab a coffee.

Nice neighborhood hangout with free WiFi were you can get an excellent Espresso, Cappuccino or Gelato!You might even see some cool cars and motorcycles if your lucky.

Stopped in today for a cappuccino it was delicious the barista makes great foam. Nice family owned and operated cafe they definitely make you feel like family.

The barista looked at me confused when I asked for a Doppio, I then asked what type of coffee they used and she still looked at me with a puzzled face. “I don’t know” she responded, I should have turned around right there. Got a double shot of espresso and it was over-extracted and tasted awful. This place is not authentic and a sham. Italians perfected espresso, so my advice, learn how to pull a decent shot. I seriously question the previous reviews.

Caffè Pronto in the Chicago Ohare Airport area was an early morning, much welcome finding. To begin with, it is a real European caffè, soccer rather than football if you see what I mean. The cappuccino was at the right temperature and they had fresh croissants. Rather than a take out to drink the coffee in the car in a chilly winter morning, we sat inside in the warmth of the place and people. Recommended.

This is place has the best capuccino I have ever tried! I dont live close, but everytime a family or friend needs a ride to or from the airport I volunteer, just to visit this place! I highly recommend it!!! Not just because their croissants, pastries and coffee are amazing, but because Claudia and her father treat you like family!!! Amazing people, service and food!!!!

I loved this joint. Very warm atmosphere. I was surrounded by the best Italians complaining about their overweight grandkids obsessed with videogames. This place has great coffee, With good prices. $2 bucks for a large coffee. Tip the waitress who is multitasking 4 different people.

Most customers are NOT wearing masks inside - during pandemic - and the staff doesnt say anything. The sandwiches are mediocre.To the owner response - what constitutional rights? It is a pandemic with hundreds of thousands people dead.

Ordered a cafe freddo and a tiramisu through door dash and honestly its the best coffee. The Tiramisu was perfect.There was a mistake on my last order but they fixed it and made everything right. Nowadays its hard to find people who actually care about their customers, this place is a gem.Thank you.

Just visited this spot yesterday and I can say it has an authentic Italian ambiance. I can hear the language around me, the lovely lady who attended me was very polite and friendly. Special imported items readily available to purchase which is very awesome! This will be my go to spot for now on because I have finally found something that is true to what it’s called.

Wow! Joanna made me an awesome vanilla latte paired with one of the best chocolate croissants I’ve ever had. I’ll not only be back for the coffee and croissant but for the customer service, which is excellent. Very nice little cafe with friendly people and a comfortable environment. Thank you.

Joanna is amazing every Monday morning when I get a chance I get the turkey sub and my latte . She always makes sure everything is freshly prepared and even recommended me to call ahead of time for me to get my order quicker. She is really attentive and has such good memory of peoples faces and names making you feel welcomed . The latte is made to my specifications and is delicious and the sub is really good as well is my lunch and breakfast. Dont hesitate to try this place !

What a fun environment to meet up with friends. This small coffee shop has TVs and a main dining area as well as a small semi private room. The staff was attentive and kept checking on us to make sure we had full drinks and to see if we wanted to order food. Their hot coffee drinks even came with a couple of small bite size wafer cookies. It wasnt busy, but there were people coming and going while we were there.

The reviews seemed good so we checked it out. We are from out of town and a good coffee place can be really hard to find. This place surpassed all of our expectations and then some-1. This is an authentic Italian place with the décor, staff, and product to perfectly complement each other.2. Both the coffee and food were great.3. Our server Joanne was just incredible. She was courteous, friendly, attentive and brought everything out without any errors or delays.4. We also had a chance to chat with the owner and he was just wonderful to talk to.5. Did I mention that this place has awesome Gelato? Yeah!If you like good coffee and an awesome authentic chill ambience to have a great casual lunch or coffee with family or friends, this place is perfect.We will definitely be returning next time we are in Chicago.

Classic neighborhood Italian cafe (rather than coffee shop, so theres booze) though kinda ruined by two giant screen TVs, one pretty loud. Theres 8-ish tables of various sizes and heights in two rooms (one with no TV, so that would make this bearable). I was there on a a Sunday morning and there were a couple of tables of middle aged Eastern European guys, including one cabbie. Decorated in Italian posters and sports memorabilia. Two outlets. Wi-fi with password you ask for, plus xfinity. Small menu of coffee and pastries, plus sandwiches and a few Italian appetizers. No breakfast items except pastries. Decent selection of bagged teas. Super-friendly and warm Slavic barristra/waitress: she raised the place from 3 to a weak 4 stars.
