Best homemade Italian I have had in years. Totally worth the drive and no bad on prices. I was able to get lunch, dinner and a snack for the next day for 2 people under 40 dollars with amazing home cooked food.

I have been coming here for years at end and I have NEVER been disappointed. I have family members ask to come here once they land at OHare.The food is phenomenal. Everything in the menu is delicious. My personal favorites are the Lemon Chicken (when they have it as a daily special) and the Spinach Pizza. If you like Sausage Deep Dish, definitely give it a try!Please, if you are in the area, go try out their foods! Rex Italian is as authentic as Italian can get!

First time ordering from here...Inside has a nice throwback feel to it...The aroma from all the various foods coming from inside was just amazing (thru my face mask😷😷😷)... They have sandwiches and hot food behind the glass counter(Italian sausage, chicken parmesan, rice balls, pizza, etc... Wide variety of foods to choose from and the staff was very friendly...I ordered a turkey sub and it was on point...The freshness of the bread, vinegar and oil brought it over the top for me... Needless to say, I will be back...Great find...

I love it here the food is fresh, great tasting i ran in with hubby and got food before work and they gave samples and everything is clean in there! They also sell bread, oils, etc love it in fact im heading there now!!!!

This is a traditional, old school Italian deli with variety of Foods. I ordered a meat lasagna and it was delicious. All foods are home made and the staff are really friendly. I suggest them to heat up the food well before serving, since my lasagna was not hot as it was supposed to be. The dining area is not too large but it’s in a good size though. Overall I recommend it to everyone.

The definition of a neighborhood deli. You walk in and they call you by your name and if its your first time theyll know it next time you come in. The food is delicious and you can taste the love. They use family recipes and it shows. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. And honestly if you dont its your loss.

I tried Rex’s for the first time and I was amazed. I had a sausage panzerroti with cheese & sauce for lunch.... I’m still day dreaming about this. The shop is cute,too! Lots to buy and try.... and they sell Italian desserts too! Gotta go back for more!

This place is amazing. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a sample of a calzone. And then a sample of some sausage. And then a sample of the chicken. The food was to die for, the customer service made me feel like I was home. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

A great Italian deli! We loved everything we bought including the calzones and Italian sub. They also has great Italian baked goods especially the cannoli and lemon knot cookies.

Its a place of smiles and warm family... I could have stayed for hours talking to this amazing gal (flight attendant).... and mom was stuffing my face telling me to try this and that...Today I bought 5/Caprese 2/Tuna 2/Italian 2/Muffuletta 2/Veal Parmesan 3 pounds of cookies.... If you are looking for an Italian Deli to provide delicious choices...LOOK NO FURTHER.I went in for a sandwichto go and left $70 lighter, but carried out bags with servings of: stuffed spinach pizza, sausage pizza, Italian beef sandwich, Italian sub sandwich, eggplant parm, spaghetti with meat sauce and sides of Italian sausage, tomato and basil focaccia bread, tuna salad and an assortment of cookies and biscotti.I would have bought more, but theres only two of us to eat all of this!

Their prepared foods are Amazing. I would go there again for that. The Arancini is delicious. I was a little disappointed with their selection of imports but what they have is definitely good stuff.

Quality food but I was very disappointed that 3/4 of the staff I saw were either not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly (nose exposed, wearing under chin, etc). Also I waited an exceptionally long time for two simple sandwiches because the (un-masked) man making them was gabbing with someone the whole time.

Rexs is much more than a Deli they have homemade Italian dishes that are absolutely delicious. They have a little section of dry goods oils and drinks to buy along with homemade cookies and pastries with small little tables like at cafes, I love the setting. Very friendly family atmosphere, I go there with my 4 year old Granddaughter and they always make her feel just as important for being there

Wondering if this place is under new management. Ordered a sub with extra onions and à couple peppercínis and got one with no onions and giardinera. To top it off the bread was so stale the sandwich fell apart with the first bite. Havent been there in awhile and wont be back, The only positive is we were going to use them to cater our church picnic so we dodged a bullet there.
