Stopped in to get fluids before my 240 miles + drive home to NY. Radiator fluid was the priority. Having a 2004 Chevy, with a bunch of milage, I requested a specific mix. The 2 guys working fully understanding the reason quickly located the right jug, located in a different spot separate from the main display shelves, and I was on my way . The gentlemen working were kind, helpful and talked to me as if I was a regular, local every day customer (which I am back here in Greece NYs advanced auto store) thanks guys, your awesome and I appreciate the help in getting me the correct antifreeze. Although this was just another sale to some, the way my day was going, that simple, and polite assistance made a difference in my morning and I appreciate it.

Stopped in for a quick question and to ask about a part I needed. The two employees were super helpful and down to Earth!

The workers at this location have 0 automotive knowledge. Went in looking for a 2 bolt 2 inch split flange. A universal part that can fit many different applications. Both workers insisted that it was vehicle specific so I told them the vehicle and they started pulling up a exhaust flange gasket. When I told him that wasn’t the part I was looking for he says “well we don’t sell anything like that so good luck finding it.” If the workers had any automotive knowledge they would have known about a 5 dollar universal part. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Closed before 9 pm and noone even in sight after calling 5 min before to have parts ready its bad enough no one who works there has any knowledge but close before hours posted online and on door I will personally never go here again. Especially when I said I need the tensioner pulley and he said a/c engine or powersteering. Whoever was working tonight should be let go and hire some actual help

The workers have a hard time answering questions sometimes.

They will have 4-5 people behind the counter, with only 2 working and the other 2 or 3 standing around talking about other people. Its usually a 15 minute wait just to talk to someone about what you need. IRS a shame. Dicksons was NEVET EVER run like this!!

The folks at Advanced Auto Parts in North Adams have helped me out on numerous occasions. Not only with their in-store assistance but with their help finding exactly the right part on-line so I could take advantage of those sales when they arose. This last month alone they helped me save $349 for a repair to the catalytic converter system, which I had been quoted $580 (+ tax) by a local muffler repair franchise. The part listed for $220 and the sale allowed me to get it on-line for only $176 delivered and with a 5 YEAR WARRANTY! Then Dave referred me to a trusted garage in Williamstown and Kevin (at Purple Valley Auto) did the job for $75! PLUS he straightened out the bent exhaust pipe and secured the heat shield while he was in there. I owe all of these folks a debt of gratitude for not only the GREAT support and work but for saving me a substantial amount of money! Thank you all very much!!

There prices are high, However you can get what you need for most automotive Projects, be aware because you could end up with a part that doesnt fit your vehicle.🤔

Worst store manager of all time. canceled my order because he was mad, didnt call to tell me, wasted my time twice. this advances manager doesnt care about its customers, only its bottom line.advances phone based customer service however is top notch, and sorted out my problem.I hope I never have to step foot into this place ever again

I have been a customer with advanced auto for over a decade, and all of a sudden they will not order parts over the phone. I just ordered a part lat week over the phone without paying, now the manager says they dont allow people to order parts over the phone anymore and it has been in effect for awhile. Poor customer service, a manager that would rather loose a customer for life over a $15 part, that I can pay for over the phone. I will never spend a dime there, and will make sure any mechanic that works on my car will not use parts from advanced auto.

The miniature there is terrific.

Good parts and prices and deals, but seems they dont know Alot about vehicles for an auto shop.

These guys need to look before they hand out parts! I’ve gotten the wrong part many times.

They will test your battery change it for you and even tell you why that stupid service engine soon light is on.

The staff here goes above and beyond. I bought a liftgate support and they even took out the old one and showed me how to install the new one!
