My son discovered Van Otis Truffles last year and bought a box for my wife for the holidays. She is very discriminating about food and absolutely loved them. I just bought her a box of the dark chocolate ones for her birthday and they were a home run again. The whole family loves them!Also, it was a nice experience going to the store, which is in a home. Customer service was personal, prompt and welcoming.

Van Otis truffles are the best chocolate. They are awesome to give as gifts which arebeautifully wrapped all the time and special for holidays.Ann is amazing who waits on you is a joy along with any of her other staff. Its such apleasure to go in there. You will definitely walk out happy and enjoy the delicious trufflesand not be disappointed!

Wanted to shop local and helped out the community. So I found this place online and thought Id give it a try. I come there and the customer service is horrible and they act like they dont need your business. Cold and crabby people. What a waste of gas going out of my way to give this place a try.Im only giving this place two stars because it was easy find parking (probably since it has no customers) and their prices are fair.Dont be fooled by their small set of good reviews. 1) Its only a dozen or so reviews 2) its probably from all their family and friends. I noticed their customers are mostly elderly people (probably original customers from when the store open decades ago). Didnt see any new people come in. They probably scare them all away with their (lack of) hospitality.

Ive been living out of the country for 10 years and I used to buy these chocolates once a year as a Christmas treat and for Christmas gifts but I love them so much I just ordered some. They are melt-in-your-mouth delicious and as the other reviews say understated packaging. If you go in person the premises arent much to write home about but you will NOT be disappointed. These are better than truffles that cost 3x as much, if you ask me!

I have been going here for years. It broke my heart when I moved out of North Andover and I have to drive 32 miles each way to get here which is why when I was there the other day I bought $150 worth of chocolates. I give them out as gifts and everybody I cannot believe the quality of these chocolates. My only complaint is that they closed during the summer months because their chocolate is such high quality that it melts in warm weather.

Some of the best chocolate in the area. Dark, milk, or white, with or without nuts. Plenty of prepackaged boxes ready for gift giving, or giving a gift to yourself! Large special orders are no problem. 100% recommend!

These are the best truffles in the world and I travel a lot!!! They melt in your mouth. A business gave me a gift of truffles last year and again today. This time the first thing I did (after eating 1) was to look up your store online! Im so happy I found you and now I get to place an order.

The shop is in an old house and it doesnt look like much, but inside is some of the best chocolate that I have ever tasted. If I want to impress anyone October through May, I bring them Van Otis.

The best chocolates Ive ever had? Probably. I like their milk chocolate, their dark chocolate, and their white chocolate. I like the ones with nuts, and the ones without. Ive never gone wrong here. My family has been coming here forever, and we actually made a trip up here specifically to get a bunch of gift boxes as wedding favors.

I generally do not eat sweets but we received these as a holiday gift so I ate one, and then two more.Theyre good, very good. Forget the over-adorned, gimmicky, multi flavor-of-the-month truffles found in national chains and try these. Sometimes, simplicity reigns. And these are incredible.

Although their sign up front leaves a lot to be desired because you cant see it inside is Paradise some of the best tasting chocolate that will titillate your palette.

Every time I go to get my Aunts their special treats, I feel lie family. Fantastic Truffles & wonderful owners!!!!!! Great for ALL occasions.

Not clear that its not open during the summer. Its not something I would have thought to check. Why would you close in the summer? The website, when I was confused that it wasnt open, only said that it opens around September 15th. Not very helpful.
