Always good! The trick is to know when pick hours are in order to avoid getting in a super looooong line. Other than that, all is great, ice cream is delicious and staff is super friendly.We love the pup cups too, its neat they offer that!

Great service and excellent variety of flavors, often fun or surprising seasonal flavors. Waffle cones and bowls made throughout the day on irons in house, very fresh, toasty, great. Good environment for children/families, also great for a quick walk in and take out. Enough room to dine in with a party of 3-4 unless its already busy. Better prices than Cold Stone/etc. and great local business, local hiring, etc.

This is a must go if youre visiting North Augusta, or if you live here and have never been. Wonderful ice cream and lots of flavors; different kinds of cones. Great treat!

The young people working there are quite nice and well groomed and I went for the charlie brown and the young lady told me up front that there was a problem with the ice cream....lacked peanut butter...so I chose another flavor....honesty is key everywhere in my book so nothing bad to say about this place...it is clean all the time and I will return to get more of the pink dipper ice cream its delicious!!!

We are new to Augusta and my toddler daughter loves icecream so I googled this place and because we are so close we have been customers ever since.Because of Covid we typically walk up to the door and order and the workers will bring the icecream out to the car. But today we actually had to walk inside to order, so we did and it was about 5 workers in there all Caucasians which is fine. We were the only customers in there and NO ONE GREETED US OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED OUR BEING THERE. The one who took our order was a real doll very friendly and she even spoke back to my daughter (because she has a large vocabulary at 2).No other worker said not one word, just cold shoulders, and we come here twice a week at least!! It’s not for the taste but just to make my 2yr old happy. I’m not sure if the other workers were management or not. But I don’t think we will be returning customers because they didn’t seem happy to service us other than the sweet young girl who took our order. So for a small cup / 1 scoop it’s about $4, and you can go if you want but in a world full of hatred we need all the niceness we can get. So today is our last day not returning

Went there and was excited about getting some good ice cream. I don’t live in the area so I really wanted to try it. Instead of something on a cone or cup, I opted for the ice cream they had in the freezer in the plastic containers. I got the coffee almond flavor. The next day I sat down to let it melt a little ( thats how I like it) opened the container, dug my spoon in and there was a hair in it. A long blonde hair. Needless to say my first experience will also be my last.

AWESOME Ice Cream and the friendliest staff you could ask for!!

Let me start by saying that the ice cream really is phenomenal. The one star is for the less than subpar customer service. It made it hard to enjoy the ice cream. I get it, the weather is hot, and the line is super long. It should not warrant rude and impatient employees. Yes,I understand the bulk of them are young and perhaps this is their first job. However, the young lady serving me should not have to ask me three times what I wanted and get mad when I stopped her from messing up my order (What was the point of asking?). Again, rough experience, but hey at least the banana pudding ice cream was of great quality.

The ice cream is good, but the whole place needs a good clean and could use some improved outdoor seating. Most importantly, the outside areas need to be hosed down or at least buckets of water dumped over them. Every surface of every bench and picnic table was coated with what looked like many days worth of dripped ice cream and toppings - not to mention all the sticky piles covering the sidewalk and parking lot. Even the windows were covered in sticky handprints. We did not feel comfortable or sanitary eating our ice cream there. The service was so-so as well, not terribly welcoming people. They could use some training/guidance on customer service.

Ordered strawberry cheesecake ice cream but it did not taste like it was strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Also bought a chocolate covered Oreo and I was surprised. It was more and better than I thought it would be.

Fantastic staff, delicious desserts, and a nice small town feel to the decor. A great staple to North Augusta, SC and only a couple blocks from the Savannah River and Augusta, GA.

LOVE this place. My husband use to go here as a kid and I went to it for the first time a month ago. We continue to go back. Great prices and it all tastes amazing. People are also kind too. I’m so glad we found our new ice cream go-to spot!

The ice cream is great but the staff was NOT sanitary. Their hair was all over the place and hanging all over the buckets of ice cream as they were scooping ice cream out. Their hair should have been pulled back neatly with no loose strings, or they should of had on a hair net. Also, they did not have on any gloves.

My friends and I came to the pink dipper minutes before it closed and we were greeted with Happy faces and great service. Daniel, Austin, and Skylar went above and beyond to happily explain the menu and even use tools they had already cleaned to make out orders. They were cheerful and didn’t rush us at all. GREAT service and we’ll definitely be coming back!

I love the pink dipper and the ice cream. Ive never had anything else from here so Im not familiar with menu options.I just feel awkward when Im here though. Im a naturally awkward person but Ive got my hands full with 3 kids and trying to juggle a child, a cone, and pay is super awkward. All while telling my older ones not to touch anything. Its just not a conducive environment to grab and go. Mobile ordering would be nice, but I dont even know if they are equipped for that.

I’ve been coming to this little gem of an ice cream shop since I was a little girl, and it’s only improved over time. New management took over about a year ago, and they’ve done an amazing job of maintaining the nostalgic feel of the store while simultaneously attracting a larger crowd. Superman has always and will probably always be my favorite, but there’s something for everyone here!

Well Im at home health care cna, and I had a patient out in the car that I was trying to keep an eye on, and they were taking so very long. One person in front of me one person behind me I dont understand what was going on. I know they probably get several rave reviews because of their product but there needs to be work done in regards to the staff. Please when you have customers in line do not wait till then to refill things not when somebodys sitting there waiting and you have three people and one person can do that, which I dont know how they do things there or the management expects them to do things there, but why not have one person to refill things like the cups and the cones and at least have the other two people that were there to continue to wait on the customers. So it was very stressful to me because I was trying to make my patient happy and at the same time Im scared to death of leaving her in the car and she was not or shes not in any position to wear she could have got out the car especially since shes at elderly woman and it was raining. Other than that their food is wonderful I just had a major problem with how they were well just they were just so slow yesterday and there was only a couple people in line again only one person in front of me! And I still was in there and Im not exaggerating, probably over 10 minutes that was ridiculous for two small cups of ice cream. Even after I put my order in for some reason it took him a good I know five more minutes to just make one small cup of vanilla ice cream and one small cup of banana pudding ice cream! Sorry it sounds so angry but it was very very stressful and again very slow moving. and Im going to retract one statement I made as far as how long I was in there I think I was in there more like nearly 20 minutes with only three people, as far as customers, in the store.

I personally loved the blueberry cheesecake icecream on the chocolate waffle cone. Ive been reccomending this place to my friends and they love it too. The only issue is the latrine, its very messy so if you need to use a restroom, Id find a different location.

Love this place. Just not so happy with their process of keeping new tubes of ice cream under current ones in use. Which has always been the way it has been done. This was my second visit back to back in which both times i had the not so pleasurable experience to witness the top container being empty and watching them replace with the one underneath. Its disgusting. They pull the one on bottom up scrapping ice particles from sides of freezer box onto top of container then sit this new container on another open unprotected cream. They peel off the top and any debris fall into surrounding open unprotected ice cream flavors. Then i get a good look at whats under it all. Ice balls, ice cream drips on side of freezer box that who knows what else and how long it has been stuck there. And this was scraped up and dropped into surrounding flavors of unprotected ice cream. Then the poor girl working dropped her cup while filling it into that empty void. She went to clean it up and her pony tail fell right in on the just opened box of new ice cream. I had already mentioned to one of the girls that the change out process was not so appetizing. She did apologize and its not her fault. The employees are great and friendly. Its just every time i go i end up getting front row seat to a container change out and completely lose my appetite. I just dont know whats being dropped unknowly into the ice cream and it bothers me. There has to be something to protect the other open boxes of ice cream during the chsnge out process. But i did notice thay have finally dusted some of the old areas and was very pleased to see that.

Found this place tonight and its great! Ive been looking for an ice cream place like this ever since I move to Augusta. They have a bunch of different flavors, they definitely have a flavor for everyone.They make their own waffle cones which is a huge plus. Their waffle cones are great: sturdy enough to hold your ice cream but light enough to break off with an easy bite. And the waffle maker makes the place smell great!Another great thing about this place is that they arent over priced! Theyre actually relatively cheap. 2 big scoops of ice cream with a waffle cone only cost about $4.50! And the scoops were about the size of a baseball so pretty awesome.The only downside to this place is that they dont make their own ice cream but the ice cream they use is made in Georgia and its pretty good stuff.I like this place so much because its a privately owned business and they got it right. Good ice cream, good cones, good prices, and good employees. There isnt another place Ive found in the area like it. Its a traditional ice cream shop. Because of all these things, the Pink Dipper gets 5 stars!

A family favorite for 30 years or more!

Only been here three times now. Every time it is so delicious. The reason I’m just now leaving a review is because I ordered a chocolate malt, left and walked back to my store right down the block, and spilt it as soon as I got through the door. I called Pink Dipper and told them what happened and they told me they would give me a replacement for free.

If you need some ice cream I would come to this place and get some ice cream or else what are you doing just sitting there not eating ice cream but thinking about it all the time that seems unnecessary.

Better bring your game-day appetite to take on the real-deal banana split. Theyve got some interesting flavors you are not liable to find elsewhere. I suggest trying the blueberry ice cream if they have it available. Your mouth will think its died and gone to heaven!

I love there brownie ice cream, my husband loves the key lime, and my mother-in-law also said it was the best chocolate cone shes had in a while. Im thrilled she loved it as much as we do.
