This review is primarily for Wyatt who is knowledgeable, personable and exceedingly competent. The original installation was sketchy. The customer service response from Doug was great, but not a good idea to send the same crew to fix their own work. Wyatt finally came and saved the day! I say its a good solid local company that charges fairly and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction. I recommend them.

The job done was fast, 20 mins or less . But the charge wasn’t fairly, 1.5 hrs x120 /hrs .

I’m impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to my home and completed the repair. There was no attempt to upsale me, the repair person replaced the part that had gone bad and sprayed some WD-40 then explained where to spray it to keep the door running smoothly. I would definitely use them again!

We have used AOD for our garage doors and fireplaces before they even opened their doors for business. Charles and my dad (Glynn) did business together when my dad ran the company (Glynn Hicks and Sons Construction). Now Brandon and I have the same great relationship that our dads had before us. Really wish you could give 0 stars. Had a appointment time Friday @ 330pm. After taking leave from work at 345 I called to see how much longer before they arrived. I was told they didnt have enough work for the day so the technician left early and they would not be there. They said they called but I had NO missed calls or voice-mail. Wasted time off work. Try access garage doors they are way better!

Initial service resulted in a blown capacitor and eventually an inoperable door due to misalignment from the guide wheels coming out of the track.However, my communication with the company resulted in a prompt response and second visit.A supervisor (Doug) personally accompanied the technician. Doug and the worker identified problems with the previous installation and within 45 minutes fixed all the problems.This company definitely redeemed themselves through their professionalism and workmanship, and I will continue to use them in the future.

Absolutely a complete failure in quality of work and customer service. Owner will not return calls. I’m left with holes in my walls and having electrician fix problems. Employees complaining about their poor equipment.

BE AWARE !! All info is listed with the BBB and documents for customers to view from me and aod .. Do think twice before you use aod !! Wether you know it or not, you are getting charged drive time to your house, repair time and are being charged extra for them to drive to their next destination, which that other customer is being charged for the same time. They are charging double. They say they tell you this when you make an appt but thats not true. If Id known, I would have saved $50 and called someone else. I dont have the money to give companies to drive all over town. That cost me and extra $50 ! If you call other companys, they tell you that when they CK you out for pymnt, your time chrgs stop at that time. Aod in my opinion, are all about making money and not abt the customer at all. So please in your best interest or your familys, use someone else that will not rip you off. $50 is a good bit to just give to a company for no reason !! Also on bbb, on their appt ticket . Says no appt time, incorrect . The start and stop times do not match my info receipt. So beware !!!!

I have used this company since the 1980s. They are good honest people!Their goal is to satisfy the customer. I highly recommend this company. As a Builder, I rate them #1 in the CSRA. They stand behind their work. I highly recommend them for garage doors, fireplaces, and service work. Since using this company, I had the privilege of three generations helping me. They are HIGHLY QUALIFIED, PROFESSIONAL people in their line of service! They have always met my needs in my businesss and on my personal residence. They go the extra mile.

Contacted them three times--twice via their website where they promise fast response and once by phone where I attempted to explain my situation to a gruff, unprofessional man. NEVER heard back. So, even though a couple friends recommended them, if they are that lax in communication, they are not for me. Found another company who responded immediately, and my door is repaired. You snooze; you lose.

I have used this company for every project that we had built (2 homes and a barn) from 1996 to 2006. Good workmanship. They have been in business a long time.

Called because our garage door opener was not working properly. A technician was sent out the same day. Technician (David) immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. David was very knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. He could have just suggested replacing the entire door opener but, instead did the right thing by repairing it. We were left with a very positive impression of the company and will certainly call them again when we need service. Thanks for a job well done.

They came out the same day, reprogrammed the whole system, tightened up the tension rod and answered tons of questions I had. Great guys, great price. I highly recommend them.

They never even responded to my online service request on THEIR WEBSITE to work on multiple warehouse doors. Guess they dont need the business. Guess I dont need AOD.

This has been one of the worst experiences I have been through with a business of any kind in a very long time. Our garage door quit working and we called this company. They came out and told us the part we needed would take no more than three weeks to get. For this diagnosis they charged $85 even though we agreed to have the repair done. At the end of three weeks we had heard nothing so we called and were told they would check on it and call us back which they never did. We called back later and were told that the part was in Atlanta and they should have it in another 3 to 4 days. After four days we had heard nothing. My wife called and was told that they would check on it and call us back and we never got a return call. She called back and they would not take her call. I called back from a different number and spoke with the supervisor Brandon. He apologized for the inconvenience and assured me he would have the part put in the next morning. True to his word, the workers showed up the next morning and unbelievably the part that they measured and ordered was too short and would not work. Now after all the weeks my garage door is just as broken as it was when they came and looked at it and I am out $85. Do you think they will do the right thing and refund me my $85? I seriously doubt it. As a footnote, this property has been under a real estate contract all this time and they knew it and it has really caused other delays. Do not use this company they are very unprofessional. By the way, if i do happen to get my $85 back i will be sure and write an addendum to this review and let you know.

Our neighbor referred us to Aiken Overhead Doors in North Augusta, SC. We needed two springs replaced on one wooden garage door. It also bucked side to side when closing, so bad it was shaking the ceiling mount brackets.After replacing the springs, it still took several adjustments, but their guy worked until he got it just right. Opens and closes like new again. Very Happy.

Called them this morning, they arrived a few hours later, fixed the spring in less than 30 minutes, repairman David was extremely courteous, respectful, and friendly. Fees were extremely reasonable, Im very pleased and will recommend to anyone!!

Aiken OverHead door was once a reliable company. I have used them in the past, but my recent experience with them was terrible. They seemed more about collecting your money instead of providing quality service. The technician seems to do rush job whether it works or not. He installed a new garage door motor, in less than 10 minutes, after he left I called him back, because it failed to operate the door. He said that he could not come back, because he was on another job. I called the desk manager and he didn’t support getting my job corrected, before trying to move on and collect more money elsewhere.

Cannot even describe what excellent service I got. I called them this morning at a little after 9:00, spring had broken on garage door and my car was stuck inside. They immediately sent someone over and it was fixed and ready to go in less than an hour and a half. So appreciative!!!

The service was horrible. It took 5 months for them to replace our garage door with the correct one. The first was the wrong color, the second was the right color wrong pattern, the third time they received a damaged door and finally they replaced it with the right one after they claimed the door was not in stock and no longer available which was a lie because they were able to order it. They expected for us to pay the full price each time they messed up and didnt even give a discount after all those times! The customer is always wrong and make sure you check their work every time if you must desperately need it because you might get bamboozled! During this time we were trying to sell our home which made it difficult to sell. Please find services elsewhere to save you from a headache!

This was by far the worst business experience I have ever been involved in. Brandon is a complete joke and jerk. Rude and lazy people. I cannot say that enough. Rude and lazy. I do not write many reviews on google. But this company will not be around very long. They just dont care. Not only do they not care they do not know how to properly install a rain pan and storm collar and flue pipe. I wish i could upload a picture on here to show everyone the laughable and dangerous installation they left me with. I cannot wait until they call me and ask for money. I already have my lawyer on stand by. They will not recieve a dime from me.

Two technicians came out and tightened two screws on the gate latch. We got charged for 2 hours labor, $240, and also got a past due notice THREE DAYS after we got the first bill. When I called to complain, Brandon said that was the standard commercial rate, and it includes driving time, and just because we only saw them for five minutes didn’t mean anything because we don’t know how long they had driven to get here. Rude and ridiculous. They just lost our business.
