Texts are sent to provide updates and to confirm any changes, unlike some shops that might just say, We had to replace (insert unknown part here) and that was $1000 (without your approval). Road Ready always confirms with you before they do unexpected fixes. They will also provide photos of the parts changed, which is really helpful. Try them out. Youll be satisfied.

I used Toadready to replace my fuel pump for $1500.00. Afterwards my gas gauge stopped functioning. When I brought it back they put in a different fuel pump, but it didnt change the fact that the gauge still didnt work. So John tells me that its the cluster thats gone bad and that it has nothing to do with the fuel pump or its installation. I found it too highly coincidental that my gas gauge stops working at the exact time they change the pump. I knew he was wrong, so I asked if there was some sort of test to check and see if the gauge is working? And he tells me that there is no such test. So I was forced to go to another mechanic who charged me $90 to test the gauge. He told me that the gauge was fine and that he would have installed a motorcraft fuel pump for $1100! So I brought John at Toadready the evidence of the test I had conducted. He reluctantly replaced the fuel pump with a motorcraft brand and wouldnt you know it, the gas gauge has been working perfectly ever since. I asked John if they were going to reimburse me for the $90 I had to spend to prove that it was in fact something they were doing to cause the problem. His answer was less than admirable to say the least. So I miss out on 4 days worth of work and then they charge me $400 more than the other mechanic would have. Now what makes this all worse is that this garage tries to justify their higher pricing claiming superior parts and expertise. That clearly isnt the case here. So this fuel pump cost me $1500 4 days pay and then the $90 to prove it was Roadreadys mistake in the first place. I couldve bought another van for all that. Not to mention the extra nonsense that occurs when grown men, supposed business men, dont admit when theyve made a mistake. Well I am a business man who admits to my mistake immediately. I should have never gone to Toadready in the first place!!!👋 Im waving goodbye to Toadready and I suggest that you do too!

First time. Won’t be my last.I came in for a “check engine light“ issue on my mother’s 2002 PT Cruiser. Unfortunately, the part needed was DISCONTINUED by Chrysler manufacturer, which would not allow the car to pass inspection. Walking through the door of this place was unlike others that I have been to, especially driving all the way from New Suffolk. Immediately was greeted and offered coffee and water. John and the staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The thing that caught my attention was the pictures that the staff sent to my phone of issues they noticed about my car. Goes to show how honest they are with their customers to provide proof that their not screwing their customers over. Also have to bring up how John sent a text to me a few days later asking how satisfied I am with the work and if I have experienced any issues since then. I know this doesn’t seem that much, but it shows me he’s willing to take part of his own time to check in on me if the work was done correctly. Overall an excellent place. I purchased a used Fiat earlier this year and needed some maintenance. The car came from a reputable dealership and was in good condition. Im new to the area and heard about Road Ready from doing a Google Search. After reading all of the wonderful reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I had Road Ready perform a Rear Brake Service, OFL, Rear Differential, and the repair of a passenger side window (regulator/motor). Very efficient service, early morning drop off. Technicians had interior compartment wrapped and sterilized after repairs were performed. Repair diagnostics are fully disclosed ahead of any repairs. Service Tech makes recommendation of any repairs (immediate, long term, next service visit) Been a customer for about five years now. I wouldnt have this car serviced anywhere else. A 2005 Honda Pilot 179,000 miles on odometer. Never pushy with repairs, they track previous services and give a heads up on what repairs are upcoming (due to mileage/time). A well run auto repair business. Entire staff is superior to anything out there.

A friend of mine had a faulty break switch problem and Road ready replaced the battery for $200... and she still had same problem on her 2010 Kia.

I made an appointment for a state inspection and an alignment if needed. I was already told I needed one from my Mercedes dealer but the charge was an insane amount. I told John I would be driving my car back to Illinois in the next few days and would like a quick look over as well to make sure I am safe on the road whilst driving back. Everything was checked out, timely service completed within the day and open communication about everything that was going on with my car. I was sent an e invoice kind of thing with pictures to show me where the status of wear and tear or attention is needed in my car. This is something I really liked and was unique to getting my car serviced here. It’s nice to have a picture documenting whether something is wrong or not and needs attention or not. Will be back and definitely recommend!

I would recommend Road Ready to everyone! I was a hopeless case with my Dodge Ram. Even Dodge dealership didn’t want to touch my truck!! Put me on a list to wait for 3 months just to diagnose what was wrong. I was having electrical issues, my blower and air conditioning system failed. John took care of me, got to the root of the problem, and got my warranty plan to pay as much as possible. They even picked me up, and dropped me off at home!!! Nobody else does that!!! Best place to go if you need a repair or any automotive service done. Unlike other places everyone here all staff all mechanics owner everyone has a great pleasant way of making a customer feel at home and welcomed with open arms. Refreshments were offered a waiting room with a TV fast honest and quality work. My first time here I dealt with Jose and a few others very nice explained everything what I like most is they take pictures and document everything and give you access to it. I brought my daughters 2007 Ford explorer in for service knowing it needs a few things, I knew it needed and Ford dealership said everything was fine and passed a quality inspection, for the record it should have FAILED. Anyway Ford dealership also gave my a next oil change free coupon. Knowing all this I decided to skip the free oil change and I went to look for service and came across Road Ready it had many great reviews so I called then made a visit and I am glad I did. They did what they call a Master inspection and found all the problems with the vehicle that Ford failed to find, Road Ready found and gave me gave me a list and showed me pictures. This place also goes that extra mile and provides a drop off service this was great because they had to replace the transmission at a shop they deal with named Advance Transmissions they replaced my transmission when it was done Road Ready tested it before they gave it back and even drove the vehicle to me and it has been working flawlessly ever since thank you all at Road Ready we are very happy. I hope other shops use this place as a great example of perfection because they go the distance. Update 8-8-2019- needed some service done once again a plus service from the great team to the walk in to the service great people including all mechanics. Back again for a separate problem and once again problem solved. Update 1/11/2021 vehicle had a humming sound great mechanic Bill verified problem replaced wheel bearings. Jose and his staff were very considerate to my needs. My brakes had failed on a Thursday; they were happy to accommodate me the next day. I needed brakes, new brake lines, and a few other safety items repaired (a long time coming). You may know that brake lines are a very time consuming job; because of the age of my car there was not a kit. Just for the lines it was 9 hours. They said I could get car back Monday. I needed it back earlier to get my handicapped child from camp. They were so caring and accommodating that I got it back on Saturday. They are one of the most honest and caring shops I’ve dealt with in a long time. They are the best.
