Store never has items you want especially a sale item. Most workers have a frown on their faces You Adkins a question they look at you like your bothering them!! a horrible store most of the managers should be terminated. They should sell to Publix a supermarket you go to and everyone is happy. This stop and shop in bellmore on Jerusalem ave and newbridge rd should be sold or shut!!

I love Stop and Shop. I would give 5 stars if sales really show up. I heard have to wait 30 minutes from loading card til when digital coupons work.

I live nearby and have shopped in this store for years. It is so disappointing to me to watch it deteriorate. It is my opinion that this store is completely mismanaged. It is also very clear by the reviews and the repetitive robotic responses to them, sadly, that they are not taken seriously by management. I understand that some products are not available due to COVID, but there are so many times that shelves and items are empty and when you ask about it, you are told, yes we have that in the back but it is not packed out yet. What does that mean? Does it mean they have inventory just sitting in the back wasting away? I have watched as some employees wander aimlessly for long periods of time doing nothing, just walking around and managers just standing around talking, oblivious to that fact, while other employees seem to be hard at work. Or is it easier and safer to ignore a problem? The store looks dirty and run down. I am starting to shop elsewhere now because of this and only shop there when I need something in a pinch, that is if they have it. I sincerely hope that management takes these reviews seriously going forward and starts to work on the issues at hand. A fish starts to stink from the head down, which unfortunately seems apparent in this store.

Ever since they redid the aisles the dairy/cheese/egg aisle smells repulsive. I thought it was just a one time thing. But the past 2 times Ive been there it still smells horrible in that aisle. I literally gagged and had to leave the store.

Again, dont have half of what Im looking for. I hear complaints from other people here in Bellmore.

The staff here is great but the store lacks inventory and selection. If this wasnt the closest supermarket to me I might not ever go there. The staff are great though.

Stop & Shop in N.Bellmore is good clean and friendly staff, produce department can use a little bit of TLC, there rotisserie 🐔 chickens are great and the customer service in the deli department is very good. Meat department is sometimes a little under stocked I understand there are no butchers . Small parking lot can get a little congested during the holidays and weekend overall I recommend this place to others 👌 😊

This supermarket is a hit or miss. They have one register open once it gets late, which is ridiculous when you have people with over filled carts you have only several things and need a cashier only other option is self checkout which you can’t do your wic on.

Terrible Bellmore store looks run downed and getto One Rude male Employee on 9/11/20 was blocking the isles with himself and restocking merchandise preventing us to pass comfortably with our shopping card preventing us to view and select our products. The steaks, ribs and some meat products look spoiled. The only good thing is the female cashier whos been working evemings for a very long time is always pleasant professional and quick.

Ive been going here since they opened. Why I keep going they have good prices. I find the best time to go is very early in the morning for full shelves and nice shopping experience. The weekend the store is a zoo thats when all the dreads of life come out...

Im really surprised during this Christmas Holiday to find the the cashiers with such a piss poor attitude. I had to actually get the cashiers attention for her to ring me up. Then as she proceeded to ring me up,she starting flinging my groceries down towards the bagging area.i said Merry Christmas to her,and her response was Whatever! Who wants to spend money In A store and get treated like that?? Stop and Shop needs to let people like that go! This store used to be a pleasant place to shop.

Store is very expensive in comparison to other local grocery stores ex... shoprite and neighborhood market but its local for me so I deal with it

They have a great variety of the groceries and products I need so I almost always find what I need. I also like many of the store products especially Natures Bounty.

Such nice people there. Always help me instantly. The pharmacy is one of the best on Long island, or actually the best on many levels. They were big on organic and Natures promise food years before it became a fad. Great store, totally complete.

Terrible customer service their is a African American lady who’s is completely rude and stuck up.. I was self checking out and when the machine started beeping for assistance she came over with an attitude scanning my fruits roughly and throwing it.. I was shocked! What bad customer service!!! I will not be shopping here..

Very confused why they need to try and direct traffic like a Stu Leonards while the registers arent fully manged. The Traffic patterns they have up are causing you to be in the store longer than what is needed especially if your going in for a few things. I get what they are trying to do, but why not wipe the cart handles and have wipes or sanitizing stations in the isles that are visible to customers. That would probably be more beneficial.

I was able to get my shopping done quickly, although I only had four items.

I had a pleasant shopping experience! Id like to commend the Seafood Manager Devin for going out of his way to help me locate items as well as peel and steam shrimp for me which was delicious! I will definitely shop here more often!

There were a fair number of people in the store early sunday afternoon and not as socially distant as I prefer. And I know we all have mask fatigue but theres more than a couple folks with the mask under their nose. I dont like the mask, just like everyone else but none of us want to have this start in again. The store itself is great, nice selection, clean, well organized with wide aisles. Easy in and out with parking also.

What do the words customer service even mean to this company?! And yet, theyre everywhere! ONE live cashier. Long line, so went to self checkout. There was an employee there, presumably for helping self check out folks, of which I was the only one. She stood there watching me having trouble finding produce on the menu, etc. There were no other customers around and she WASNT DOING ANYTHING! I asked her three times to help me. After a customer has trouble more than once, and youre doing NOTHING, just do it for them! WHO IS TRAINING THESE PEOPLE? WHO IS TRAINING THE MANAGERS! And in general, smile and take pride in your work! Its called ...CUSTOMER SERVICE! Enough with the self-check out machines! HIRE HUMANS!! Go to Trader Joe or Best Market.

I went in this morning. I love StopNShop for the twofers . I think they are the best at that. They had the Drakes for this today. At the register, It wasnt happening when checking out and I asked about it. Why did I do that? So much attitude, wow! In this time when customer service is paramount to keep people coming back (because people have options) that would be the focus. Maybe this was isolated incident. Cant smile and be courteous all the time, I guess. Ill stick to the usual one I go to.

Its not the best or the worst. I like going here because its convenient for me. I shop here all the time so its not going to be perfect everytime. For the most part its been positive but I had times where I bought food that was bad or not cooked well enough. The staff is always nice though.

This store has inconsistent quality and service. One day you will find decent produce, the next day you will find lettuce that looks like its a week old. Ive found many products with sell by dates that were in the past. Some of the people working there are friendly and helpful, others, not so much.

Low stock. Sale items are not always available. For example, this week McCormick grill mates were on sale. Visited the store TWICE this week, and shelves were empty!They are often out of milk quarts. Stock is not routinely rotated, especially in dairy department. You have to look at dates! Cant find everything on your list at this store.I have to stop shopping here!

The place is fine went there today to get Cold Cuts 2 workers behind the counter talking to each other not paying attention to the customers waiting to be served not even making eye contact or listoning to the customers the only thing they did was talking to each other, had to go to King Kullen to get my cold cuts. Shame on the store and its manager to allow them to do this never again

Inventory is always low. Deli department takes forever. Restock restock restock. Shelves are empty. Waist of time to shop in a store that cant fulfill my shopping list ever.

Fish and butcher counter folks are great, helpful. Clean store, easy access. Reasonable prices if you shop the circular.

Ive shopping at STOP & SHOP at different locations. To me I get anything I want there, I found to be very convenient for the locations I worked. I give them a 5 star, especially when they have sale you better be there very reasonable prices cant beat.

This is not Stop & Shops cleanest store. You also have to watch the expiration dates on almost all products, as they are frequently outdated. About the only thing I can say good about this store is that the workers are usually personable and helpful.

Needs a much better selection for those with milk and gluten allergies. The one in merrick off of sunrise highway is a great example. They have a whole section of organic and allergy friendly goods in a big section right where u walk in.

I dont have enough time your prices are off the charts. They really dont want to put on any cashiers, usually long Waits on the lines youre too cheap to put on did you know you may not be eligible I think theres more self-checkout machines in case she is, know I no there is. However the people that work there are really nice I feel sorry for you. If youre smart go shopping at ShopRite I get a healthy sleep everyday guaranteed to spend $20 less on a shopping trip for the same products Im retired I have nothing to do but check out prices Stop & Shop is really insane with your prices. Im not really sure what the emerge was with King Kullen that I never went to because of their high prices, but ever since they got together Stop & Shops the prices hit the roof. One last thing shop right case anybodys coupons including $5 off from King Kullen after spending$50.00

Well another unhappy 15yr Merrick customer.Just spent 10 mins in line w Assandra..A testy little chashier who thinks working the register is for socializing with co workers instead of moving the paying customers out and on with there busy day.I have to say i did keep my cool after to much time imo.North Shore farms down tje road just picked me up for my other needs now.
