Always very helpful staff. I had a coupon that wouldnt apply to what I was purchasing (self checkout).... the attendant verified that everything was valid and manually applied the coupon. I always have great interactions there.

At least 1/3 of the people in the store were not wearing masks and none of the employees (which had masks below their noses) seemed to care. This is not a safe environment. Would NOT recommend shopping here.

Very clean store. The employees are super friendly. But the meat department is stellar! Its so clean and organized. It is well stocked all the time. The Manager Brandon goes above and beyond to help the customers. He is extremely knowledgeable and wants to ensure the customer is getting exactly what they need. He is always professional and his department clearly demonstrates his dedication.

Deli staff were busy, and friendly. Store was well stocked. Bakery had wide selection of fresh bagels in the case for 4pm. Extra cashiers made sure to bring customers over from other checkout lines.

It was pleasant and clean. I was able to get everything I wanted, except in bakery section. Their shelves were low on bakery goods.

Caution using the gas station. You think prices are the same for cash and credit. Not so, as we found out after it was pumped. Will not use again. ASTRO is just down the street.

Way too many people, especially high school students and older men wearing masks improperly, around their neck or not covering nose and mouth. A sure sign of ignorance, selfishness or at best a lack of understanding. Poor shopping experience.

I do enjoy our hometown Safeway. I always see people I know there and it’s generally well stocked. They were looking a little barren on the shelves today though.

Their prices are a little high but there selection of groceries especially meats are excellent and I love their delivery service

This Store is Awesome, Employees are extremely helpful, especially the Deli employees and their Manager,they are all very customer oriented!But the Womens bathroom has the worse smell all the time,I have asked them numerous times why,They said they have worked on it and really dont know why it still smells,thats the biggest Complaint

This is the cleanest, best staffed Safeway Ive ever seen. Matter of fact, its the best grocery/deli Ive been in. Kudos to the manager and his staff (especially the sushi chefs). Didnt see any seaweed salad and mentioned it to one of the chefs. The following week, there it was. Now thats service!!! Send a copy of this to the corporate office for Safeway. This store deserves special recognition.

Had a great selection of deli meats pies cakes and snacks we filled the cooler and headed to reedsport Oregon we had a great time writing on the dunes and we had plenty of food thanks to Safeway Nice clean store workers were very friendly and helpful when we were looking for items they were very knowledgeable

Not sure what the ladys name was that made our sandwiches but OMG! she made THE PRETTIEST sandwiches Ive EVER seen. She needs to give lessons on it.

My fiancé and me go here for the deals that’s the only good part about this store. We were in self check out being watched by the lady supervising(every checkout was being used by the way and she was only watching us). My boyfriend scanned a item handed it to me and I set it down next to our bag because it was full so he had to move it to the cart she came up to us and said “are you going to scan it or do you want me to put it back away” we told her we already scanned it and she walked away continued to keep her eyes on us as if we were criminals or something. We used two bags were about to pay then she CAME BACK and said “sir you have to count all the bags” he told her that he did counted the TWO bags for her then she told us to go back to “go over it” and guess what? He put the TWO bags on the receipt! If your going to watch over people at least do it right. She didn’t even say sorry. We just wanted to get in and out because I have trouble walking due to having a full term baby in stomach didn’t need the extra over the top employee trying to argue over a 5 cents bag that they were wrong about. I honestly want to know what her problem was. Was is because we are young? Like I honestly want to know.

Despite the mask required signs at the entrance not only was customer mask wearing not enforced but I saw multiple Safeway employees with no masks or masks not covering the nose. Not OK! Especially for a store with an on-site pharmacy.

Love my North Bend Safeway. The staff couldnt be more helpful. The manager is accessible and always out on the floor. I actually saw him bagging groceries!

I believe this is by far the best and cleanest Safeway I have ever been into.

The treatment I have received here from 80% of the checkers has been less than one would expect for the prices I pay here.They seem to have gotten rid of some of the ladies that were just plain mean, but there are still a few.Most of the people in self checkout are super nice, but I guess the people checking us out hate there job.What happened to the customer being right? Especially when I know FOR A FACT the coupon is on my card.My husband and I quit shopping here for the most part. We travel to Coos Bay now, but sometimes make a milk run here(we live literally a block away)BTW the ladies in customer service booth are sweethearts. I see why they made it there. The new hires are always pleasant.There are literally ladies and one guy I avoid. The funny thing both of these individuals appear to be in high positions from what I see and have worked there for a great deal of time.Again the ladies in the booth are my favorite to interact with.

Clean and open layout. Stays stocked most of the time. Great gas attendants.

Finally remodeled! Great store now and so far in stock on their ad items. The checkouts seem to run smoothly this time of the year. Parking lot is busy but easy to navigate through. Produce section is colorful and crisp. Recommend this establishment.

The folks in the pharmacy are really nice however the checkers and the service desk folks are rude they act like theyre paying me to be there instead of the other way around this is what Im always disgusted with the Safeway

Its a good sized store, they have everything you need. Was there right before Valentines Day and they had a huge selection of flowers. They always have a very nice selection of flowers for all occasions or no occasion. 😁

Sale prices are good. Employees are friendly. Huge produce department, though kind of pricey. Often busy, but the checkout lines move fairly quick. Self checkout is a nice option. The attendants at self checkout are always pleasant and quick to assist. Love the fresh baked bread assortment. Large seafood selection also.

I always save alot on my food bill when I shop at Safeway. The just for you helps and is usually savings on things I already buy. Plus the employees are always very nice.

The employees are always helpful but, this Safeway is the most inadequately stocked Safeway I have ever been in especially on keep Safeway Brand items stocked. If you have a choice to go to another Safeway I would recommend that.

Great place for quality fresh produce with many organic choices. Meat department has good selection, organic or not. The store is always clean and organized. Prices are on the higher side but thats to be expected since Safeway is part of the Union.

Today I used Monopoly game coupons. They were instant winner coupons. I couldnt find everything so I asked for help. Everyone was more than willing to show me where the different products were located in the store. That was a great help to me. I am new in town and Im still getting used to this different market. Thank you Safeway for hiring happy friendly helpful people in NB. The picture is of all the free items we won!

It’s your typical, newer Safeway. This one contains a Starbucks & sells fuel also. The store is always clean & the service is fine in both the store & at the pumps.

Took 3 tries to get the wine at the marked price and then found it cheaper on their website. $10 difference for 1 bottle. And then they charge you for the sack.

Associates are always very helpful and pleasantAnd the store always has many different things on sale and club card discounts

Shopped there while heading north along 101 after camping in the area. Unlike some Safeways, there was plenty of room by the main drag to park my truck and trailer. Easy in and out with the rig, too. Always appreciated. Otherwise, a typical Safeway in terms of staff and selection. Id shop here again.

Wow, have Umpqua dairy products become a luxury item! Still one of the better grocery stores in the area. They have sushi, too! As for the other chain store(s)....

They didnt have the Marketside Decadent chocolate chunk cookies I went in there to purchase. I got them a few days prior, so was expecting to find them again.

I love Safeway in Coos Bay, its clean, staff are friendly & helpful. They have a good selection and prices on meat & produce. Safeway Card offers extra discounts. I drive past other stores to get there, I drive about 45 minutes to shop there.

Sometimes have great deals on dry/boxed goods and produce, the bakery offers lots of fine bread and baked goods, but the meat departments need to get a grasp on prices it shouldnt cost $40+ for 2 rib eye steaks; at that rate you might as well go out to eat. Mckays has better cuts at more affordable prices
