I ordered 22 doors from 5 Star. The prices were very reasonable. Dan was very patience and went over every door measurement that i had for a full two hours. He explained the pros and cons of different doors. Gave me suggestions and recommendations on which product to pick. The delivery guys were very professional and on time. They promised that they will show up at 9am and they were on time. I would diffidently recommend them.

You need new windows you need your Windows repair stop here....

The windows are low quality and they buckle at the center. I ordered 2 large windows 71x71 and smaller windows 35x35. Regardless of the size the windows buckle at the center. Once you pay the money the owner Dan does not respond. He cuts your calls and is extremely short tempered. My windows have gaps in the center because of the buckling. The problem was identified by Dans production manager who came to look at the windows after I followed up with Dan for over 2 months. Dan now does not answer my phone and the last time I spoke to him and told him that the windows are buckling he just cut the call. I took the windows from Dan because he said he has been making windows for last 25 years. But his character and quality of the windows are far from anyone who has been in the window making business for that long period. I have now no solution, the contractor says shimming the windows for more than a quarter of an inch at the center will prevent the windows from opening. I have now no solution. I have taped the windows to prevent the drafts. It is really frustrating that you are left with poorer quality windows and a drafty home after spending a lot of money on windows and installation. For those who are looking to buy windows please please stay away. There are much better windows out there for the same price with life time warranty. Always take windows that are factory made. Dans windows are hand made which explains the low quality and inaccurate measurements.

As a second generation window & door contractor I have known Danny (the owner) and Fred (Management) since I was child. They are extremely knowledgeable and have given me an industry education in the process. Its always a pleasure seeing them and doing business with 5 Star Windows. Throughout the years I have grown to view the office staff and employees as an extension of my family being a smaller manufacturer in comparison to the billion dollar corporate entities has provided me flexibility and customizations not offered to me by any of the larger manufacturers. If you need commercial aluminum or vinyl windows or doors I would definitely call this local New Jersey Window manufacturer first. Being in a Urban zone for lower sales tax is just an added bonus.

Having been a customer of 5 Star for over 4 years its truly sad when you realize customer loyalty means nothing to a merchant. In my most recent order I had spent nearly $3000 for several picture windows. A few weeks later one of the windows developed a large crack in the panel. After over 5 weeks (Yes, 5 weeks!) of back and forth communication with the owner, Dan, who had initially promised me that he would get me a replacement glass panel, i discovered that no action was taken. My patience and understanding was now exhausted. At the end no glass was ordered and to make matters worse my calls and texts went unreturned. As a business owner I find it so utterly shameful that a business would resort to lying to its customers. It is one thing to be deficient in customer service but its another to be completely blind of what is the true business objective. Suffice it to say- I will be taking my business elsewhere and over what? Yes, one cracked glass window.

Food/drinks mediocre at best. Good location/ambiance and live music a plus but those things unimportant to me in comparison to authentic good food, ingredients and drinks.

The definition of poor/no service...I called and emailed dozens of times to get a quote and got promised several times I would receive it by the end of the day. This is no way of doing business and made me lose a lot of time

They are the pros. Have reasonable prices. But they are always busy.

Should change their name to 1 Star....Horrible customer service, purchased an expensive garden window. The Glass cracked after installation due to faulty manufacturing and after many calls to the Owner, Danny they don’t seem to care about getting this situation solved. I’m doing additional work to my home now and there is no way I can trust 5 star. I should of done my research first since it seems that there are others that are in the same situation. Just make sure you get your windowms installed and delivered before paying them a dime because they actually don’t care after they get paid.

Fabulous company ordered all our windows for entire home from Five Star.The service was excellent and prices were reasonable Very Happy Highly recommend them.
