Have you ever thought to yourself, ‘what would it be like to have a certain flavor of ice cream on a certain kind of cookie?’ Well this is the place to go to try it. This place is pretty great, the cookies were perfectly cooked and the ice cream was smooth. This was an awesome experience on a hot summer day. The staff was kind and very helpful and the young lady with the green eyes was very knowledgeable on the menu.

Loved this! I thought the cookie was great (white chocolate macadamia) and the ice cream very good (cookies and cream). The location is good, service friendly and will return for sure!

Sweet staff and even sweeter dessert!!The cookies taste homemade, like something your grandma would make.I had the vegan chocolate chip ice cream which tasted unreal, it was so delicious.There is a pretty courtyard with plenty of low walls to sit, plus public seating and beautiful landscaping, where you can enjoy your treat!

The price vs flavor ratio is perfect. The only complaint I have is that there was very little cookie dough in my ice cream.

I really wanted cookies so why not order from a place where their ice cream sandwiches are well known. Well, I must say, eating the cookies along weren’t as good as their ice cream sandwiches. Their cookies by itself were way toooooo sweet to where I didn’t really want to eat the rest of the cookies. The red Velvet cookie had a funky/weird after taste to it,too. It was too hard and the soft to crunchy ratio was off.I ordered a dozen assorted.Don’t think i would order just cookies from here again,but thanks Baked Bear.

These ice cream sandwiches are huge! I couldn’t finish mine. The cookie was delicious and the perfect texture. The ice cream was delicious too. You can customize what you get which is awesome.

As long as there is a soy based I am happy. You can build your own ice cream type. Staff was pretty friendly except that I wasnt sure how the size of the cone, bowl worked thats really my own small drawback. But that $8 dessert was on point. Will come back for sure.

The ice cream was good... Not great. The cookies were not cooked thoroughly. Therefore, i could not hold the sandwich like a sandwich. The cookie flavors were ok but not great.The customer service was below average. Just a bunch of young adults who dont appear to care much about quality.There was a nice place to sit and eat. I prefer Sarahs on Old Georgetown.

This is a fun place. Great for dessert or a treat. Skip dessert in your dinner place and grab one of their designer ice cream sandwich and sit on the lawn with your date. Great for sharing!

Scoops were big and the cookie was tastie. The guy at the window was very nice. Price for cookie with ice cream was reasonable. The area has 2 hour free parking and lots of places to sit.

Ice cream was amazing. The cookie was soft and perfect. I did snicker doodle cookie with expresso ice cream tasted like a Frappuccino. To say that it was delicious would be an understatement this treat would bring an end to any argument. Had a bad day come on down and treat your self.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. They finally made the cookie monster cookie permanent. Which I am so excited about. If I go to an ice cream sandwich place this is where I would go. Its for sure a little pricy but its really worth it. On top of that your ice cream sandwich is pretty big so you do get exactly what you pay for. Plus you can mix and match cookie top and bottom, you get to pick a topping, and you can do a drizzle, plus of course the ice cream.

Wow! Im not a huge ice cream fan, but this place was amazing. If youre willing to shell out the $6 it is for a sandwich then youre in for a treat. There is limited seating options especially if its raining, but cmon, ice cream is worth it.

I gotta tell you...they could have been sliced from a roll in supermarket. Thats not it, MY issue is the freakin taper seal was put on the closed side of the box, therefore exposing my cookies!The seal was attached to a note with my name, HOW ABOUT SEALING THE BOX?Have you people no consideration?

Baked Bear was really good but it was extremely filling. I usually eat so much and I hate to say it, but I couldn’t finish my whole cookie sandwich. I got the cookie of the month and cookie dough ice cream, and I got it hot pressed which was real good. The servers were friendly and good at what they do. It was definitely well worth it, and I’d like to go back again!

The flavors of ice cream are really good as well. You can get it hot pressed but last time I was there they couldnt do it because of covid which is totally understandable.

Three visits and I can say as a dad of two kids, not only is this place fun and location great, but it represents value. I can desert three people for around $8 with sharing. Typically coldstone etc. runs at lest $12 and often $20 depending how crazy it gets. Im so glad the Bear is surviving covid :)

OMG. This is absolutely the place to go for an ice cream sandwich. They make the cookies and ice cream in house, so it cant get any fresher than this! They always have lines out the door. And now with COVID they are available on 3rd party delivery services.They have so many different cookie varieties as well as brownies and vegan options. They also have a great variety of ice cream options. Its so worth it!I love the simple combination of chocolate chip cookie and brownie with vanilla ice cream in the middle. but weve tried a few different combinations and they are all good. They have something for everyone!Prices are reasonable for what you are getting! And they are soooooo filling!Service is fantastic. They are always so nice and helpful.

My first time here I ordered a triple decker ice cream sandwich with a cookie on top and bottom and a brownie in the middle...and let me tell you it was delicious. The cookies are chewy and soft, and the ice cream is soooo good! I have yet to be disappointed with the ice cream and cookies here. My only issue with this place is that the customer service is very hit or miss. Its a bunch of teenagers working here so I guess that is to be expected. Last time I came here, we walked up to the window and every single person in there was so immersed in their phones they did not even notice us. I had to knock on the window to get their attention and instead of being apologetic or like oops, we didnt see you, they acted like we interrupted them! Like, how dare we come get ice cream while they are busy on their phones! We both thought it was really strange and at the end I asked the guy to add cookies to my order and he was super rude, like it was such an inconvenience to put some cookies in a bag. So I just said forget it, Ill take my cookie sandwich and go. I really love the ice cream sandwiches and will be back, but my last experience there was pretty offputting. It was just such a strange way to deal with customers. At least we both enjoyed our sandwich! I recommend to get it hot pressed! My favorite ice cream is the blue cookie monster flavor and my favorite cookies are funfetti and snickerdoodle. The chocolate chip and cookies and cream cookies are also great. The butter cake and red velvet are also good but they are a bit too sweet and gooey for my taste. I do enjoy this place for dessert but I have to take off a star because of those kids working there. They could definitely be nicer.

So, I have to say I’m a little disappointed in this foodie destination. It’s more of a “if I really need to dessert, I’ll stop” kind of place for me.The ice cream was okay; I think I could have gotten better at cold stone or another commercial shop. It all tasted overly sweet and there wasn’t a great selection.The baked goods were better. Everyone loved the cookies and the brownies. I’d go back for those if I were in the area.Portion size was generous, but none of us felt like we needed to finish our dish.The service was okay. No one was rude but they didn’t seem to want to engage with customers either.

Good desert place. The line needs some work since the front end is so small. The staff makes efforts to get through it and the actual food is good. The servings (cookie sandwich) can be consumed by one person. Though the sweet tooth was satisfied for about a month!

Ok the flavor we took was ok but my girlfriend was not that impressed. Maybe we try another flavor next time. The concept is awesome. Very popular even trendy in the mall the line can be long . Its outside so people make an effort for distancing . I will come back again just because I liked the concept.

Family loves this. I was just the chauffeur, I didnt like the fact that they wouldnt let me used the bathroom. But the loved everything they bought and it was a 15 mile drive, fortunately it was only 1 mile from a doctors appointment then 15 mile drive home. This place is a solid 3.5. I gave it a 4 because I found up. Here are my notes:-the concept is good, but the execution could be better. The cookies are (I believe in purpose) a little hard, which allows the consumer to pick up the ice cream sandwich. But, this is not a sandwich you want to pick up. Its just not going to happen.- But they give you too much ice cream, which isnt a bad thing. This is something you have to eat with a spoon out of the bowl.-the cookies were just way too hard. Im not sure if on this occasion they were older, stale cookies, but they just werent good. Not really a lot of flavor there, and tough.-the ice cream flavor itself is way too over powering for the cookies. It makes whatever cookie you order moot. (Epsecially the espresso). Again, its a good flavor, but it questions to concept and execution.-the donut is too tough. Its like actual bread rather than a typical donut. I feel they did this, again, to make it an ice cream sandwich but you just cant eat it like a sandwich.-individually everything was good (cookies could have been better), but all together the execution is flawed.

This place is dangerously delicious! You can get ice cream sandwiches, brownies, just a cookie, or an ice cream scoop. The decor in here is cute, they have a cookie monsters only neon sign and a picture of a polar bear eating an ice cream sandwich on the walls.There are tons of different opinions for cookies and they usually have a limited time one, last time I came it it was a walnut chocolate chip, but they have more eccentric ones.I personally LOVE ice cream sandwiches, as a kid I would always order them from an ice cream truck. I highly recommend the bear batter for your ice cream! I got this with the cookies and cream cookies and what perfection! They have a special machine that warms up the cookies that makes it even better. Also they do not skimp on the amount of ice cream put in between the cookies!Ive thought for a while about if there was any negatives to baked bear, the only thing is Im not a huge fan of their red velvet cookies and it would be nicer if there was more seating. Though this is pretty typical for ice cream places, it can seat less than 10 people. During the winter it is still busy and usually you will have to stand close to someone who is in line or paying.(Look for the end of day or day old cookies that are on sale by the register)Highly recommend coming to baked bear!

I checked this place out on a sunny Sunday afternoon and enjoyed the experience of an ice cream sandwich. I didnt try the hot press but the combination of a red velvet cookie base an oatmeal cookie top with old fashioned vanilla ice cream in the middle was perfect. I added sliced almonds for an additional crunch. Expect long lines, but the wait is quick.

Disappointed. Took the kids for ice cream and unfortunately got there at 1140 am, 20 minutes before they opened. So we patiently waited for 20 minutes (not easy with young kids). When 1200 finally arrived they still did not open. Multiple employees tricked in after noon and when I asked open if they were open they said “not yet, give us 45 minutes”. I asked if they opened at noon and they just looked at each other. Poorly managed location.

This is such a fun place to go to. The build your own cookie sandwhich is so much fun and its so good! (It is very reasonable for the price) The cookie of the month (gooey butter cookie) is definitely worth trying. I had that with the red velvet ice cream and mini m&ms and it was a treat. The cookies are nice and soft and you can even get your ice cream sandwhich heat pressed. The ice cream is very creamy and they are very generous. If youre not good with sweets, maybe this isnt the place for you. Everything is super sugary and the portions are huge. I am not sure if they have any salty toppings, but if they do, i would definently recommend getting them to counteract all the sweet stuff. When i come again, I will definetly share with a friend or 2.

Great experience. A new place for fun after a meal. They even panini press your sandwich to make the cookies hot! I really enjoyed their selection and there is a lot of replayability here with all the combinations!

Very good ice cream. Basically you go inside and you can select if you want cookies, brownies or Donuts to be your outer sandwich part and then they just place ice cream in the middle. The toppings were limited but it was an overall okay selection. The generous portion of ice cream was also well worth the money. I would take time to go and sit outside in the seating area if you can.

I was looking forward to this place for months, and was very disappointed.I have only been here once, thus I gave it 4 stars, but I should be 1 based off my experience.I came in around 8:30 on a Monday or Tuesday, and the line was out the door, good sign right!?!The line wasn’t being managed very well, but good things come to those who wait.When it was my turn to order the older lady scolded the younger girl and stated something to the affect that she was taking too long.My experience with the younger girl was awesome, she answered all my questions but then I was passed off to the older lady. I kindly asked 3 times to have my sandwich heated up, but she just chose to ignore I suppose.The flavors I had were mint choc chip and I believe cookie dough, at the time they were out of almost all the cookies, and it was sickeningly sweet.When I went to pay the woman walked away and I completed my entire transaction on the square by myself.I am going to give it one more try just because I am hoping it was an off night.

Such a creative icecream store! Think there should be more icecream sandwich places instead of just cones. This place has a variety of cookies you can use that you can mix & match! If youre trying to hold your sandwich up, try to avoid getting a really soft cookie, because it will break apart while youre squeezing it to keep it together to enjoy this awesome icecream!

The team at this location is awesome! They were so sweet on my first visit & allowed me to come in & take a picture with the famous “cookie monsters only” sign! I will definitely be coming back with friends & family...special thanks to Paco :D

OMG. I drove over 40min just to try this place and I must say it was totally worth it. Beside friendly staff, clean environment and the TASTE, of the taste was out of this world. Brought it Saturday, ate mine and hubby waited 2 day and I just couldnt take it any longer. Oh, 2 days later and the same great taste. I wish they put one closer - maybe at the National Harbor or Springfield, VA. Either way, until one is closer I be making a well worth it trip for more all summer long. Please think about a rewards program of something for valued customers.

Consistently Excellent.The cookies are light and the perfect thickness to soak in the melting ice cream. The hardest part about going is decoding in a flavor combination. Tonight I went all-in on caramel and was not disappointed. Sea Salt Peanut Butter Chocolate cookie wrapped around Salted Caramel Fudge ice cream was perfection.

An absolute must.It is a customized ice cream cookie sandwich shop.The cookies are delicious - so is the ice cream. I will not recommend any flavors as part of the fun is exploring the menu and crafting your own concoction.The line is long, but worth the wait.

Well Im definitely happy I dont live close by because if I did, I wouldnt be able to resist popping in here more often than I should! Three of my all-time favorite treats under 1 roof - cookies, ice cream and sprinkles - and all incredibly delicious! We had fun sampling the unique ice cream flavors and with all the different cookie options, picking one wasnt easy. In the end though, I dont really think you can go wrong with whatever you choose! Next time I would skip the hot press as it accelerated the ice cream melting process by a lot but otherwise, pure perfection!

Like Duck Donuts, its hard to see how ice cream can be reimagined, especially after the huge frozen yogurt trend. Baked Bear, however, has managed to set themselves apart. Customizable ice cream sandwiches. A variety of cookies and brownies to choose from for the sandwich. The regular chocolate chip cookie was not as good as I hoped -- not enough chocolate chips, basically just cookie. Having said that, the cookie dough itself was nice and dense; it could hold its own (didnt crumble or get soggy) next to all the ice cream. The ice cream tastes like it came from an actual creamery (as opposed to mass produced ice cream). Not sure if this is related to COVID, but I love the round circular containers they come in. Makes it easier to dig in!

Very good regular ice cream! The service was nice and friendly. The only vegan/non-dairy option they carry is not a good recipe, though. It really does taste like ice and not much else. If you are sensitive to dairy you are better off buying ice cream somewhere else.

Great sandwich cookies! Ive been a loyal customer ever since they opened in Pike & Rose so I decided to apply for a summer job there. The interview went well and the general manager said she would give me a call back but she never did.

You can smell the fresh cookies and brownies from a mile away. The Ice cream sandwiches are huge and will completely satisfy your sweet tooth. I came here on a Saturday night and the line was very long but trust me its worth the wait. This is a must go to place!
