Placed an order for windows and a patio door today. Mike was very competent and helpful in navigating through the whole process. While we provided good information, though, he offered additional info to further refine the order.A throughly enjoyable experience. Great staff at Lampert Lumber! Thank you. Great selection for anything DIY for your house and outside home projects not to mention they have the full lineup of Traeger pellet grills, big selection of seasonings and pellets.

Too high in price. Not that much to choose from for materials or options.

Ill be back. Knowledgeable people on hand. Plenty of great quality inventory. If your remodeling, ya best stop in here. Dont hesitate to swing in.

They dont have a lot of stuff on the shelves and prices are higher than other stores. They mostly deal with contractors then the general public but anyone is welcome there

This branch is very poorly managed. Lack of professionalism when you call and very discourteous in-person. They also, maybe illegally (looking into),charge 25% restocking fees on unopened and returned materials. Even charging stocking fees on cancelled items never delivered. They never once disclosed at anytime that there are restocking fees. It wasn’t until many weeks later when the credit came through I saw it was short from the credit memo I received. We wanted premium products for our project and opted to not use big box stores due to questionable quality. We were very disappointed in all aspects of our dealings with this branch and will use ABC Supply in the future.

Pricing is on a higher end, but quality is generally higher ( or at least this was my experience ). Limited working hours.

Elizabeth, who specializes in kitchen design, is simply AMAZING! Very helpful, listens to your concerns and truly cares for what you care about. The best around. Im so glad to have met her when I did. When you come into the store, look her up, youll be glad you did!

This store is great for planning projects. They know all the reputable contractors and seem to be trusted by them. The people are incredibly friendly and actually provide service. I love that I can go to a store and not spend hours wandering around hoping someone can actually help me only to get sent on the run around. This is not the store for last minute weekend projects but when I do plan a project with them I get everything I need, avoiding the added trips. The quality of cabinets and lumber I have experienced is far superior to other stores. That outweighs the drop in convienance.

Great local lumber yard

Great 1st experience! I just moved here last summer and found them today because I needed to rent a post hole digger. Best customer service Ive had in a while even though short and only one thing was needed. I dont write reviews in otherwise but these guys made me want to write this. Thanks to everyone that helped me today!!

My father bought all his lumber for house building projects back in the 70s, 80s, and 90s (including our house) and it is still the best place around for that.

Im working with Elizabeth B on re-doing my kitchen. New cabinets, countertop, sink,faucet, backsplash, under cabinet lighting, appliances (suggestions-she used to work at a different place that had appliances) and flooring. She has been wonderfully patient with me - listening to my concerns and extremely helpful with ideas and suggestions. We just placed the order, but after meeting with the contractor, Im confident that everything will turn out great!

Some people there are very helpful

Closed on Sundays??? really. So when somebody runs short on a weekend project and needs to pick up a few more pieces of lumber where should they go... NOT Lamperts. Its this sort of thing that makes me drive right past them on my way to Cambridge or Forest Lake Manards. Actually, I sometimes forget that they are even in this town anymore.

I have a project whereas I needed 3 sheets of 4’x8’x3/4” plywood. I can no longer lift a full sheet, so I called Charlie at Lampert’s. “He said come on over we’ll fix you up. “ Man what a refreshing experience. Didn’t know anyone gave service like they gave me. I probably paid a little more than Menards, but when I buy Lumber again, there is only one place I will go. Never have I tipped anyone at a Lumber Yard, but I did tip the young man in the yard. Thanks so much
