I have been shopping at Country Paint for 40 years. The store has mostly everything and could have more if people would just go locally instead of traveling to big box stores to save a dollar not to mention wasting gas and travel time. If you’ve ever shopped at big box stores you know there’s no one there that really knows anything. Personal service is Paramont.

As the owner of every under the roof, a residential remodeling company, I shop at numerous stores. As far as hardware stores go, country paint and hardware is far beyond any other hardware store. From the extremely helpful/knowledgeable staff to the extent/range of inventory, they are hands down the best.

Recently moved back to Guilford. I almost forgot how good having Customer Service felt until I was welcomed back to Country Paint and Hardware! Great helpful staff! Clean and organized store! If they dont have it ~ they will happily get it for you! FIVE STARS!

I go here all the time as it is one of the closest hardware stores to me. The staff is unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the store. Theyve walked me through doing home maintenance items multiple times, advised on what I needed to do the job, and just been generally helpful. Ive also had keys made and propane tanks refilled, which was quick and easy.

I love this store! My family has been shopping here for decades. I joke that if they dont have it..you dont need it. Staff are always fantastic!

Everyone is always extremely helpful, and really nice never really crowded. Ive been shopping there for idk how long....basically my entire life.

Greatest experience any customer can expect. The paint department takes their time with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. Still investing in latest technologies and products to keep up w the big stores. Very patient very helpful very friendly. Keep it up Earl

Best hardware store ever! They always take great care of me!

I just broke my snow shovel and called Country Paint and they had everything I needed.

They have it all, including free Earl, who knows almost everything.

Friendly service. Knowledgeable people.

I can only speak for the paint section. Pat helped us choose the best paint for my room, and gave color samples. She even gave contingency plans should we have any paint challenges. There wasnt a huge selection, which is the only drawback.

I will never rent a Uhaul from them again! Returned the truck after putting gas in it they tried to charge me a fuel charge because apparently the gas gauge was still lower than when I got it. Took the truck back to the gas station and put more gas in it and yet again the needle didnt even move. So that means the gas gauge is BROKEN! I put more gas in it then when I rented the damn truck and I didnt even get my money back for all the gas that I put in or even an apology for the attitude that I got from the guy at the counter.

As always, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
