I had the pleasure of doing business with Giant Oak specifically Jim. I picked up a Scag Patriot and Jim had his son deliver it the same day! The staff is really great and they know their products and what you need to do to service. I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them at all!

Brought in my push mower on a Monday afternoon. Thought it would be a warranty repair. I was advised at the time that it would probably not be a warranty repair due to bad gas which is usually the problem. They called me Tuesday morning to say it was fixed and was indeed water in the gas. The cost was very reasonable and they helped me put the mower in my trunk. The gentleman who helped me took the time to answer my questions. I recommend this company for your landscaping equipment needs.

I purchased a garden tractor last fall, and a snow blower this winter from them. I was pleased with the service, product selection, pricing, and free delivery. I had Sears lawn equipment for years but who services them now? Just about no one. So when they needed replacing, I went with a local company that I can count on when my equipment needs to be serviced.

I am editing my previous review to reflect that I was contacted by a Keith who was able to address my concerns both quickly and professionally. I still feel there is a largely varying level of customer service depending on whom you speak to here but I did receive the service I needed in the end.

Great power equipment store!!!!!, and the staff there are awesome!!! All I needed was a can of spray paint but it was a certain shade of Simplicity orange that no other store had in stock and I had a project that I really needed to finish that night. I was running a little late and I knew that I might get there a few minutes after closing so I called there and they said no problem, someone will wait here until you arrive This meant a lot to me and I cant thank them enough for taking the time to accommodate me that day. Thumbs wayyyyy up to Giant Oak Power Equipment!!!!!

Always helpful, pleasant on the phone. After the snow yesterday, I couldnt keep my snowblower running. I finally figured out that the gas cap insides had fallen apart. I called them at 12:30, and they had just closed, but the young lady who answered the phone asked me what I needed. It took awhile to find the correct gas cap, but they did have one in stock, and waited 20 minutes so I could drive up and pick it up. Great customer service, especially with another snowstorm coming Sunday night! Service above and beyond! Thanks, Giant Oak.

Knowledgeable staff, they only sell professional grade equipment and support what they sell, yet priced like the big box stores.They once talked me out of a $3000 purchase because it wasnt right for my application.Dont hesitate to do business with them.

I was having problem some problems with my mower stalling so I used my compressor to blow the air cleaner out and put in fresh gas and still had the problem it is under warranty so I brought it in when I went to pick it up they said the air cleaner was so clogged with debris that no air was getting in and the gas had water in it all billable when I questioned them on this lie about the air cleaner they said we just write the invoice up like that. The products they carry are good but you cant trust the service!

I brought in my old carb gasket but was disappointed by the counter girl who would not take the time to search for a new one I needed for my B&S lawnmower engine. Yes I didnt have the # off the engine. I went to CZ Equipment in East Hampton CT, and the counter guy took about 3 minutes to match up the old gasket with a new one!

Brought in another brand of a commercial grade weed whacked for spring starting as I just moved to the area that month. An older gentleman comes out looks at it from a distance and says what the heck is that thing?! I’m like I guess you don’t work on John Deere equipment.....he said nope. Never said, maybe try so and so, or what do,you need done, maybe we can help....etcetera. Never going back and I tell this story to anyone who brings them up. Got it going by myself. And I was going to buy a backpack blower too. Oh well

Mike at Giant Oak was awesome !!! Helpful, knowledgable and cared enough to make sure I got the parts and the help I needed. The whole crew there is great.... Highly recommend them !!!!

DO NOT do business with these people. The worst customer service i have ever dealt with. New carburetor in chain saw has taken them over 3 months. Still have not gotten saw back. Have been jerked around every time I call to inquire...Simply unacceptable.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS!!!!! WORST POWER EQUIPMENT STORE IVE EVER BEEN TOO!!!! Place is always a mess never have anything in stock guys behind counter never have a clue what your talking about and their customer service is the worst. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that appreciates your business

You will spend most of your time on hold with these people. Whether its for parts or for getting a whole goods price from the owner, if and when he decides to take the call. This all depends if they even answer the phone in the first place.................

Your hours state 8AM-3PM Saturdays. I showed up at 1:30pm to pick up my chain saw. Giant Oak was closed!? Change your store hours on your site. A waste of my time.Steve, Guilford, Ct.
