Fishers has very friendly people at check out and has a very hometown feel. However, their prices are higher than anyone else in the area. Sometimes you can get deals though on individual items. Still a nice place to shop.

Very disappointed. I should have known, based on 3 help wanted signs for 3 different departments, that this location would not be as good as the others. Waited 10 minutes in the deli with only 1 person ahead of me. Never saw anyone helping her so left without making a purchase. Will probably not go back to this location again.

The staff at Fishers are very friendly and helpful, and I kind of like that the store isnt packed shoulder-to-shoulder like the other grocery stores in town. Makes shopping a whole lot less stressful. Also, their sushi is fantastic.

Fishers Grocery has a hometown atmosphere and is sized right for convenience. Staff is helpful. One drawback is the limited meat section

Chinese food is not what it used to be do not bother wasting your money. The chicken was incredibly chewy, the fried rice was complete mush dissolved right away. Egg roll was flavorless and limp. Super disappointed in what used to be good food. Waste of money

Bought some mozarella sticks, put them in refrigerator and next day they were moldy.

Use to be great store. I swear today I think he trying to destroy it. Produce is spoiling within 2 days from being frozen, selection is totally gone. Generic brands are pretty much store normal now and sizes to single to family taken out. Freezer selection especially frozen vegetables are always in a mess and store is always out of ad merchandise the day it starts

First time we went a few weeks ago they gave away our groceries and were waiting to get them back before we could pickup. Seriously? My wife called and questioned if we could have new groceries and the manager cleared it up. Strike 1.Place is empty and now I know why. Josh, bald guy with a powertrip stopped our checkout because he didnt believe the chicken salad was the right price. Strike 2.Strike 3 (same trip) He held the sole isle up to go and make me pay more. Bravo Josh. I just started going here and now I will not be back. Now you can police an even emptier store.

TIP YOUR CURBSIDE GROCERY SHOPPER!!They make $8.50 an hour, do all your picking, packing and loading of your heavy groceries. Stop being a Scrooge, that fee goes completely to the store not the employee.

Fisher Foods has a great rewards program and weekly specials. Easy to get in and out of. A variety of groceries including special ethnic and organic sections of the store. Great spirits section, bakery, deli, and freshly cut meat. The store is clean and staff friendly. I can turn most any situation around today was one of those days. I was asked by 4 FOUR people if I needed help? I have lived in this town for years no a couple decades! Following me through a store playing tag team is gonna make this 54 yo woman make you earn your money . No make up, grunge ripped jeans and a T-shirt not looking to win prizes here just get what I needed to finish off party things for Christmas Eve. You folks need to quit judging I can just as easily go a couple blocks to Marc’s or Acme. I hope this was a fluke.

The woman at the prepared foods counter at North Canton location was rude and miserable. Acted as if I was imposing upon her. Wouldn’t answer questions or just muttered a response. There are so many better grocery stores in the area. Now that the son Alex is in charge, the business has been going downhill.

Love their online ordering system and the staff is always so friendly. However the fruit I order always has issues, I end up having to throw half of it away due to being moldy. Just wish more care was put in when picking items.

Its friendly, clean, organized. Why are the prices so sky high though? That part I cant figure out. The staff is always amazing- they treat every customer like family. Everything is well stocked and easy to locate, but I simply cannot afford to shop here regularly. I will say the locations with Chinese food are incredible. Such delicious options.

You can never go wrong with the personal service you get here! They dont have all the choices the big box stores have but I love that when I drop in to grab a item they know me!

Fishers as a business seems to be slowly declining in quality and experience - this location is no exception. Theyre prices are higher than anywhere else around, their products are always close to their expiration and there is never more than one cashier working. I liked to eat here for lunch but recently they raised all of their prices on fresh meals, and the food is usually barely hot, not cooked correctly, completely out or all of the above.

This fishers has such an excellent salad bar and fresh food section. The fried rice alone is so delicious!

I love fishers. I wish they had one in northern Kentucky! Great prices and its not one of those HUGE grocery store chains. I love that you dont have to walk miles through a store to gather the 3 items you need. Also you arent paying an arm and a leg for them either! The rewards is awesome too!

Thus is the nicest of all the Fishers stores. If you havent been there lately or at all give it a try. Beautiful meats and produce with very competitive pricing.

Although this place is kind of pricey you have to go on the days when they have the best deals and then theyre pretty reasonable. The staff are really great to talk to. Its always very very clean in here. And always a good experience.

Their prices are comparable to other grocery stores in the area. Where they shine is in their selection of specialty foods.Also, if the local Chinese restaurant is closed, Fishers has a good selection of carry-out Chinese food.

Honestly all Fishers seem to be going downhill. Theyve already closed 2 recently and might be doing a 3rd soon from what I hear. Parking lot is always empty, no employees to be found. Sad. The optical seems fully staffed and well equipped, nice employees.

Long-time grocery....been around forty years or more.Go-to meat dept. Dont carry a hundred choices of every product. Nice neighborhood grocery

This store has everything, including fresh sushi, and a place to sit down and eat it. Great place for a quick lunch. Prices are competitive, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

It is sad to see the downward slide of what was once Canton’s preeminent grocery chain. Gone are the days when customer service was the primary focus of Fishers Foods. I have been shopping there for more than sixty years and sorely miss the days when the manager and cashiers knew me by name and would treat me more like an old friend than merely another customer. With the closing of some of their stores and the lack of focus on customer service it probably won’t be long until Fishers is a distant memory. All that being said I do have to give kudos to the ladies that run the deli department in the North Canton store. It is most likely because of them that this store does any business at all. If It weren’t for the staff of the deli this store would only rate one star.

They dont have the selection of other local grocers, and the produce section isnt as nice. Their beer selection, however, is quite nice with varieties that you wont otherwise find.

Fantastic sushi counter by the deli. 8 to 5 made fresh or packaged to go after 5 until 9 or so. I love sushi and its great!

Great organic food selection. I hope it keeps growing! They also have a pretty great selection of gluten free and organic packaged foods, but the price is higher than Earth Fare, unfortunately.

I love going to fishers for their beer selection. I filled a growler today at the N. Canton location and Diane was awesome! Very friendly and helpful!

My only concern about Fishers is the lack of variety. You basically have one item to pick from for your each product. The prices are fair to midland. Service is good with employees who have been with the store for generations

I used to love this place for their fresh foods and friendly help. As of late the produce is atrocious. Their prices are very high, and their customer service has left town. I blame management as the family has handed things to next generations. This review goes for all locations. It is sad this has happened to a locally-owned business.

The first time I had ever been to a fishers, it was clean, well-stocked, and had good produce.

One of my wives was a elementary school teacher. One of her assignments to her students was to go to local area Grocers with a list and figure out how much the items on the list cost. In every case at the end of the list Fishers wand up being the least expensive for the entire list.
