Old Time Pottery on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is a great resource for all things home goods as they have a big selection of quality items at really good values. I always seem to exit here with more than one item as hard as I try to resist. The staff here is extremely helpful and welcoming and makes sure you have everything you need to have a pleasant shopping experience.

I purchased several items including 2 bags of potato chips. The potato chips tasted substandard, so I returned the opened bag and the unopened bag the very next day. I first called the store and the Manager told me to bring them back. When I went back, Bobbi was the cashier. She was extraordinarily disappointing in terms of customer service. She wanted to know who I spoke with prior to returning the chips, then proceeded to tell me that she did not know how to process a return on an opened bag. She even said that the date on bag was not expired. Was she the potato chip police? Please note that I had my receipt which was only a day old. In my opinion, she was very unkind, very unprofessional, very rude, and even argumentive. Lakeisha took over the transaction and made the experience superior. Another gentleman was there that made the experience much better. If I could provide a score of less than 1 star, I certainly would. During this time of unrest and uncertainty, the least that a cashier can provide is decent customer service. After all, many of the stores are empty. Therefore, EVERY customer should be appreciated to the utmost. Very sad....

I LOVE this store! Its so wonderful. They have such great decorations and home items and its all really reasonably priced, which is great because then I can buy more! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even helped me load up my car when I had my hands full with a baby. Their products are great and absolutely adorable. Anything you might need to make your house a home!

This place was amazing! I was greeted by the nicest woman upon entry. After asking her if they had furniture, she walked me back. The store was very clean, organized and staff was very happy, helpful and efficient. The store was massive with every thing you could imagine, makes hobby lobby look small.

Nice store and friendly service. I dont go here often. This is a place to shop when you have time because there are a lot of cool things including nick-nacks, I like cruising the isles. Today they are having a 50% off sale and the summer items are out. I.picked up an outdoor game my kids used to play with us. Ive been looking for another for over 10 yrs! I finally found one here. My daughter was thrilled. Ill go back.

Ive been going to Old Time Pottery when I lived in Alabama in 2009 my sister Doris introduced mom and myself to the store. When we moved to S. Carolina we found one in myrtle beach. Its a great store to find so many different items. From bedroom to kitchen to bathroom it goes on on youll be surprised what you can find. Im happy they moved one closer to us in N. Charleston .

This place is a WONDER😀Its like Pier 1 Imports on a Globe scale . If there is anything you need to decorate or remodel you living space, its here. If you can only spend $100, you will definitely find something that will make you feel Royal.👍👍❤

I have been shopping very often in this store lately. Store is 5 stars, majorities of the employees are 0 stars. Very unhelpful, very unfriendly employees seems they dont want to be there but... casher the lady with long pony tail is probably the worst of them.Otherwise store is packed and you can find whatever you need for your home.

I went there in hopes of finding a reasonable price on larger planters (10 gallons and up). The store is loaded with selection and they do have a better variety than Lowes or Home Depot . But their prices were outrageously highThe worst offender was a planter about 15 gallons that was a really cheezy thin plastic replica of a wooden half-barrel for $40. Thats pretty much how everything is priced, ludicrously overpriced. A fair price for such a flimsy thing would have been maybe $8, max..... Which is exactly what I have paid for similar sized tubs elsewhere.

There were several employees stocking shelves and only 2 cashiers. Very long wait...it is not normally like this. I would normally give 5 stars.

If youre going in there to find pottery, vases, or the like, dont get your hopes up. There arent many. The name of the store is somewhat misleading. They do have a lot of knick knacks and such. I actually found a small decorative nightstand that caught my eye, but it was more than double the price I thought it would be given the quality. I wont be back.
